He definitely does NOT come off as a wimp here. He is forthright and non-confrontational. He has no real proof that Romney HIMSELF has committed any nefarious deeds, but Dr. Paul goes on to say that there have been inproprieties and improper behavior on the part of the RNC.
As usual, Dr. Paul.......is.............TACTFUL.

I still think he has the kit gloves on against Romney. Why on earth doesn't he land a haymaker on the phony's glass jaw? Is he holding back for planks in the platform? I cannot and will not believe that. Something is wrong. Maybe at 76 yrs of age, this is his last fight and is taking what he thinks he can get. Your guess is probably better than mine.

What about the idea that Dr. Paul leaves CNN, MSNBC, FoxNews guessing? He carefully doesn't let on to just how much he knows, nor what his opinions are 'behind the scenes'. For once, I think this tactic works FOR us, instead of against us. It's never a good idea to show your hand.
There is NO DOUBT he must be ELATED that we have a team of lawyers willing to go the gauntlet for him. Mrs. Paul must be ELATED, too!
And, he left NO DOUBT that he would NOT be endorsing Romney. YES!
And, you're right. I don't think it will be a snoozefest. In fact, our delegates are creating excitement, if anything else, and the MEDIA will be all over this convention.
I would think the MEDIA & GOP would both want Dr. Paul to speak in a prime time spot in the evening for the whole world to see. What attention & HIGH RATINGS that would get. Just the idea of it would send it viral, and word of mouth would be just as powerful, too!

By the way, two periods do not an ellipsis make; and commas are tucked inside quotation marks if you write with the American convention, outside as your usage is the British school.

Also: Computer programmers often use the untucked form, insist on closing quotes on paragraph end, and otherwise use strict-balancing rules on quotes, parens, etc. as are required when writing computer programs. I was just being an arse. Your retort was fun. As long as were at it, an ellipsis is set apart by spaces before and after, according to the Chicago Manual of Style. I see a lot more bloggers doing that lately. I've always used them like you do, without spacing.
