Friends, no matter what happens with this election, the Daily Paul is not going away. The awakening that Ron Paul has sparked across this nation with his run for president is amazing, and it is just beginning. However, the Daily Paul is in need of funding. Hosting is getting expensive, as is programming and consulting. The Daily Paul runs on an open source platform, but customizing it and maximizing the power of the software takes specialized skills that I unfortunately do not have.

Rather than just asking for donations, I'd like to give something in return. The more I got to thinking about it, the more I thought about how ephemeral the web is. People have told me that the Daily Paul is an "institution." (!!) But really, websites are just electronic blips & bytes. They don't exist in physical space. To commemorate Dr. Paul's historic run for president in the physical world, I had 500 limited edition "I Support Ron Paul Posters," printed up. The posters are based on the "I Support Ron Paul" graphic that I did in the summer. The official campaign ended up using my graphic on its buttons & t-shirts, and Ron Paul Stickers is using it on the Ron Paul "Universal Sticker." Here is the original image, and the posters.

Limited Edition 'Hope for America' design.

The posters were hand printed by Hence Forth Press in Seattle on a vintage letterpress machine. Here is a short movie of them coming off the press!

Each poster is hand numbered. And signed.

There are only 500 numbered copies of this "Hope for America" design. The posters are 17-1/2" wide x 22" high. Each poster is hand crafted, unique, and printed on heavy paper. They are all hand numbered by the printer, Chris Clark, and signed by the designer (me). No more of this exact design will be printed - once they're gone, they're gone.

Of the 500, I have about 450 350 left. They're going quick.

If you would like to purchase one, the cost is $50 each, plus $8 domestic shipping ($5.25 for US Post priority mail & delivery confirmation, $2.00 for the tube/box, and .75 for labels, packing materials), or $20 for international shipping. All proceeds are going toward upgrading the Daily Paul. Please note that these are not mass produced items, but unique hand-crafted items. There are variations in terms of alignment & ink depth.

To order visit this page - there is a "buy now" button about half way down the page. Thank you for all of your help and support.

Best regards,

I'll purchase some, my Goldwater Posters increase value yearly

Michael, you did good. These posters look really great, I love the art work especially. I'll buy at least two. For years I have display one of my Goldwater posters proudly as a work of art. The value of which has greatly increased over the years.

Incidentally Michael, I had the pleasure of working with Barry Goldwater Jr and his brother Mike off and on back in the 1963-64 days as a member of the Los Angeles County Young Republicans and a member of "Young Americans for Freedom". Still find myself periodically thinking about those days, the fun we had, the people we met along the way and most of all, the great memories we created. Having fought those battles I can tell you that we are very proud of this present generation of young people who have elected on their own to step forward, reach down and picked up that old torch of freedom with it's flickering flame, energized it and are now carring it before them into yet a new war. We too, lost in New Hamshire 1964 but ended up winning the nomination. I say to them, don't let the flame burn out and remember that General George Washington and his troops lost all of their battles and they almost gave up until their Surprise victory at Trenton. You are fighting for your future, your children's future and the future of America to exist as the wonderful country it was meant to be and as they did for us some two hundred and thirty years ago. Presently, the American Empire sits on the edge of the same cliff that the previous Empires of the USSR, Rome, Greece, Persian, Egypt, Babalonia and all other Empires throughout history sooner or later found themselves siting on. Like those before us, we too are staring down at the rocks far below. This is nothing new, all Empires follow the same road to failure that ends at the cliffs edge. All of those roads were driven by the same vehicles of expansionism and foreign intervention, and fueled by greed, control and power. Hopefully this new and wonderful generation will be able to pull us back from the edge just in time and restore us to the Country that our forefathers fought so hard to give us. After their war successfully ended they asked the question of future generations, "we give you a country based on Liberty and Freedon, now it is now up to you to keep it". Can we keep it????????

God Bless

Power to the People

Thought the John Lennon song "Power to the People" would be a great campaign song.

Check out these posters?

Do we need to think about the people that are attracted to the campaign? There seems to be a lot of emotion and anxiety and indeed this is making me wonder.

It's a self-defense mechanism

Happens in all crisis, it's alright to shout and let it all out !

To compare it with 30's National Socialism is preposterous, McCainesque, and off topic. But anyway, check out this vintage poster:

OT: What a wonderful, wonderful Ron Paul poster. I've bought four Ebay auctions in the last days..., but I think I need to get one of those.

UPDATE: I knew I couldn't resist, and thanks to the Federal Reserve printing money faster than Europe's ECB, just got it for 49 EUROS ($50+$20).

THANKS MICHAEL! Keep up the good work.

The effigy scares me...

Don't get me wrong RP is amazing and his courage to speak the truth has brought me to tears. As noted by my link effigy has been popular before for means that were not so good....
