Paul Festival Emphasizes Unity - Event Will Bring Groups Together

On Tuesday "Paul Festival," a grassroots event taking place in Tampa, FL highlighting the Presidential campaign of Texas Congressman Ron Paul, announced they had added even more speakers and sponsors to their schedule. The event will take place August 24-26.

"Though Ron Paul's name is being used, the overall message is to promote the ideals of liberty," said Paul Festival Board Member Bryan Siemon. "This event will bring together groups from across the political spectrum to show unity and give one voice to the philosophy of liberty."

The event has gained a tremendous amount of press and media attention and early reports have shown a sharp increase in vendor and ticket sales. The event will feature speeches, live music and presentations on topics from stopping unconstitutional foreign occupation to ending the Federal Reserve.

"Voters from all points of view see independent thinking and openness in government as key issues in this election and going forward," said Siemon. "It's time we stop election fraud, restore civil liberties and get back to the Constitution.

Groups like LibertyCandidates.com and Free & Equal Elections Foundation are just a few of the organizations taking a lead role in the weekend's events. Free & Equal will be a top sponsor at the Festival with Founder and Chair Christina Tobin serving as one of the main speakers.

"We have so much more in common than the political and media establishment want us to believe," Tobin stated. "This event will be just the initial spark that starts the dialog and Free & Equal is proud to be supporting the effort."

Congressman Ron Paul and consumer advocate Ralph Nader have been two such candidates promoted by Free & Equal. Click the video below to view a discussion between the two men.

Free & Equal alone has been endorsed by a number of independent minded candidates including Ron Paul, Ralph Nader and Gary Johnson.

If we deny truth before your very eyes, then the rest of what we have to say,is of little consequence

Which event will Paul Appear At - Or The One He Mentions In

a video posted in here recently?

The one Ron Paul is throwing

with his fearless little leader Jesse Benton controlling things so Ron Paul isn't tainted by us lowly peasants that might ask Ron a controversial question that might blow Jesse's cover.

November 6th 2012 I voted for Dr.Ron Paul

Confused About the Two Festivals

I am all for "unity in diversity" ...however, I thought the Paul Festival, and the name selected, was to celebrate Ron Paul.

If it is *not* about the candidacy of Ron Paul and his legacy, then I am confused. Will *other* candidates (third party)have folks make stump speeches for them? Will Peter Schiff be reiterating his endorsement?

If so, what is the difference in the two festivals? Additionally, if this is a celebration of liberty by all groups that, at least, in part support liberty...then this is certainly not an appropriate time or place for Ron Paul to be days before the convention.

I am no naysayer. And, yes, I am aware of the speakers signed up. That is part of what confuses me. Am I just missing something?

Didn't our very own organizer

Deborah Robinet coin the phrase "Diversity finds unity in the message of freedom"? I believe she did. She is awesome!
