I wasn't sure how this made the top 5 posts on DP, but being it did I figured it deserved at least some discussion.

I can't speak for others, but to cover my ass I tend to put on underwear. If I'm about to leave home, I generally opt for an extra layer of cover as well.

I don't claim to have the best method, let alone to know the only way to Heaven or Washington DC(Hell incarnate), but I can give the account of the pragmatism of shortpants for this one individual.
