If Dr. Paul put a video on his site and on YouTube explaining with some emotion and enthusiasm his desire that we donate big time on a certain day, I think we would all rally once again.
The problem with all the other money schemes is that they have lost their uniqueness and have become diluted.
Please be aware that a video was posted by the Blimp (Lyman) showing Ron and his enthusiasm for the Ron Paul Blimp. The numbers there have started to move as a result.
Let Ron talk directly to us in video. I'll do whatever I can if he asks with
emotion and enthusiasm.
The text with money requests on the Ron Paul HQ site first by a campaign manager and then by Paul provided little emotion and may have seemed to some to be too big of a goal (23 million more).
Something is disconnected and it needs to reconnect !

I beleive they chose the $23 million number because
that is almost exactly what they would be eligable for in matching funds. Perhaps it was a trial balloon. Of course I could just be overly hopeful.
Agree - but they also need to simplify and focus the message
RP has to make the economy and spending the main campaign theme . The other candidates cannot touch him on this and people will relate when it comes to their wallets.
The grassroots need to do the same and align behind this message.

with the newsletters routine. Could there possibly be a bigger non-issue?There is a simple and straightforward response should the subject arise in the debates, or anywhere else for that matter.

I don't know how to contact them or I would send this to them. This is an EXCELLENT response that Dr. Paul should use WHEN the subject comes up in tonight's "debate."
I realize the good doctor is brilliant and responds to issues in his own way, but it can't hurt to get this to the campaign. (Not that it will get to Dr. Paul in any case.)

You nailed it dude. This is a MUST if we are to raise that kind of money. I strongly suggest if anyone here has any influence on the Official campaign, inform them that this is a must. All Ron Paul has to do is to post a little blurb saying something like "I know there's a lot of talk about the next money bomb, my favorite day is_______ ? Then put a video up like you suggest, and BINGO there is. It's no harder than that!!
Please if someone can get this info to the Campaign, do it PLEASE!

Dr. Paul could talk about whatever he wanted to, take control out of the media's hands and connect with supporters.

No I don't agree. It may be over for RP but time will tell.
The resurfacing stories about Ron Paul's newsletters is more than a stumbling block. I think it has become a major hurdle that he may not get over. It will not surprise me if the good doctor is not crucified in the debates tonight.
