...they are making it sound like people are backing Paul because of the social issues? That is so deceiving and when people watch this that aren't Paul supporters, they get totally the wrong idea of the full on why we are behind Paul all the way. So twisted! Social issues are what the media continues to use to keep the people divided. Scam!

.. socially liberal? they seem like they are trying to paint him as endorsing gay marriage, when really he wants the government out of marriage, and wants churches to have the freedom to not be forced into calling things marriage by government dictate. It's like the Australian bar tender on the Simpsons; Marge says 'coffee', and the bar tender hears 'beer', even when spelling it out.. only Paul is saying 'less government, more liberty', and they hear 'liberal this, conservative that': https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=KJ...

Libertarianism IS the classical liberal of the past. In other words, it is socially liberal and fiscally conservative with the main emphasis on not dictating to people how to run their lives. The reporter and the delegate are correct in their report.
If you disagree with the socially liberal part then you are actually a conservative as defined by the GOP, not a libertarian which recognizes the rights of everyone to live as they choose providing they don't infringe on the rights of anyone else.
Ron Paul himself has referred to himself as a classical liberal. I was once a liberal, when liberal was classical liberal. Once that label was taken by the communist progressives I migrated to the libertarian philosophy because its exactly the same as a classical liberal.
This is wrong. They keep saying RP did not win the popular vote in IA. Well we were cheated out of the win. Remember the vote was tight 28% Romney and 28% Santorum and 26% Paul. There were also reported 7-8 cases of ballots lost/stolen from some university area which was a Paul stronghold. Paul realy won IA I am sure and we need to say this whenever they say he did not. He won a number of other states as well like NV as AND THESE THINGS SHOULD BE READY ON OUR LIPS TO COUNTER THESE MEDIA PEOPLE AND THEIR LIES , DISINFORMATION AND SPIN.
We should all applaud the Lawyers for RP who are standing up against this cheating.

Everyone at the caucus was polled. The votes were not counted. My precinct’s predetermined winner was announced just a few minutes after everyone went through the motions. I felt like I had been punched in the stomach.
And WTF does this mean? "With younger conservative voters looking for a more socially liberal party"??? Do these people just make things up to try and sound smart?
I don't subscribe to any party. I just consider myself an American; but I do believe that I'm still more of a republican then these self-proclaimed "Republicans"
funny.....even when reporting a positive on RP they use a subtle war of words to paint him as fringe. How many times did they say libertarian or libertarian leaning? answer: as many as possible because the average Republican that might like RP if he read about him doesn't know anything about libertarians but that they are different. And he thinks to himself they are not on my team so I don't like em.
This is true, but also very sad. I'm an independent and vote based on who's running and not party lines... If Ron Paul was running as a Democrat (unlikely) I would be voting democrat for him. Voting for only your party is very sad and is hurting us.

Speaking of social issues I
Speaking of social issues I have one question about getting the government out of marriage. Does that mean that gay couples can adopt? Just curious.

Anyone else get
"The most arrogant man in the world" add before this video? Put on by some neo-cons, but still pretty damn funny.
I was there (in Sioux City anyway).
Iowa GOP’s filthy tricks seemed to backfire.
