I don't like to believe it...

And now you know why I live

And now you know why I live in Mexico.

for the cheap food and beer.

and hot women!

and hot women!

I almost

mentioned that, I kid you not.

This happens under a fascist communist regime.

See #1 and #4 re property rights. This is creeping into being right before our eyes. Power and control of the people is on the agenda of the NWO. Loss of all freedoms and civil liberties. Are we getting there? My heart goes out to these folks, and all of us if we cannot turn this around.

The 10 PLANKS stated in the Communist Manifesto:

1. Abolition of private property and the application of all rents of land to public purposes.

2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.

3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.

4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.

5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.

6. Centralization of the means of communications and transportation in the hands of the State.

7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state, the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.

8. Equal liability of all to labor. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.

9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries, gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equitable distribution of population over the country.

10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production.

What would Dale Gribble do?

You all remember "Dale" of the Fox cartoon "King of the Hill". Well, Dale talks about putting up an electric fence and a lookout tower around his yard. Bet that's not even up to code in Arlen...

Anarchy is peace, government is war

Rule # 1

Never talk to gubmnt agent who does not have a warrant.
It doesn't matter what the circumstances are, or how much you just want to be a peaceful, non-confrontational person, if they knock on your door, demand a warrant and a signed complaint. Let them know you will consider any further questions without a warrant to be harrassment and tresspassing.
Then get busy in your county getting people elected who will dismantle these tyannical codes.

Undo what Wilson did

I wonder if this has to do with Agenda 21?

Here in Wyoming there was some stuff being implemented to do with Agenda 21 but the people fought back and won. This kind of stuff just doesn't go on in most western states. I can't even imagine it here, in Wyoming. Farmers are king here, along with ranchers. Hunting and growing one's own food wouldn't be touched by the authorities.

fireant's picture

Of course!

And don't think for a minute they are not in your area. Maybe they haven't oozed to the surface yet, but they are working; count on it.

Undo what Wilson did

Oh, yes, they are here,

but so far, the people have fought back and won. But you are correct, we must stay vigilant.

Fences make good neighbors.

Tall fences might help if you are living in an area with nosy neighbors.

I watched one of those videos a while ago,

And its obvious there's no actual neighbor complaints. These people in the California desert are so far apart, you can't possibly see the next house over. Its an excuse to exercise control. That's it.

in these cases, there actually are no "neighbor complaints".
The "complaint" is "anonymous", meaning that the cops made it up, to use as the excuse to destroy the garden and render people food-dependent.

This is a despicable tyrannical act, aimed at creating a helpless population that is to be controlled by evil despots.
It's something that we are going to have to come to grips with, and understand the situation, and find ways to stop these enforcement people from being able to accomplish their acts.
There very well could be risk involved. But there's risk involved in being starved into submission by tyrants too.

The right to face one's accuser

Where is that?

You can't get clean in a dirty bathtub.

Then, why?

I don't get it, BigT. WHY would cops care one way or another if a little old lady grows her own herbals and vegetable garden. "aimed at creating a helpless population" -- if we were ten years further down the road of tyranny, and we had evidence of home invasions, perhaps I would be more inclined to believe this event was intended as an example to others to stay dependent on the system.

But this isn't the case. There are plenty of avenues for people to feed themselves: food pantries, churches, even food stamps.

Since when did growing a vegetable/herbal garden become synonymous with covert anti-government operations.

This sounds like propaganda to me.

OK, you've all convinced me

that this is a legit issue.

I'd better build a taller fence around the backyard vegetable garden.

There's many examples of this....

Here's one:

Man faces $5000 dollars in fines for growing too many vegetables on his OWN land.

Come on Mary. It's not easy for the

bureaucrats to get a $cut of a home garden, or an off-grid homestead. They want all citizens entirely in the tax/fee system, because their cushy retirement entitlements depend on fleecing the productive. This is common, you need to see a lot more personal testimonials on alternative sites. They won't be reported in the MSM.

I suppose the real question

I suppose the real question should be; why is it becoming illegal to grow and/or raise ones own food?

2 years ago a man in Atlanta got fined $5k-$6k for growing vegetables in his back yard; he did give and sold some of his excess. The arrest and fine was for growing vegetables in his back yard. The best answer, as to why it is illegal to grow ones own food, given by the government was: he would spend less money at the grocery store, and people he gave or sold produce to would spend less money at the store also; and that if more people did this then some or all of those who depended on the grocery store for an income would be out of a job. However, why their answer made no sense at all, was because they said that he could raise chickens in his backyard, but he just couldn't grow vegetables. Couldn't the same claim be made for raising chickens -that it could put some of the grocery store employees out of a job- if he gave or sold eggs and chickens?

This is all about controlling the population.

In California they have been kicking people off their own land if they were not hooked-up to the power grid; one major case was of a Vietnam vet -they took his property and his trailer for not hooking-up to the power grid. What sense does that make?

It becomes

synonymous with anti-gov't operations when the gov't decides it is.

You may very well find that what you thought was "10 years down the road" will be happening later this year.
I hope it doesn't, but there are some indicators that suggest it could be possible.

this is . . .

I don't have words any more.

Slap slap. Get over it and get busy in YOUR county.

Find and support those who are willing to fight, get elected, and start un-doing these A21 laws which will rob America of it's unique character, and herd the masses into controlable centers for human habitation. Let's not leave this legacy unchallenged for our kids.

Undo what Wilson did

not sure I . . .

appreciate the 'slap', but I am reading and taking information from this discussion. Spouse and I are serious in-town gardeners--

And . . . we have grandchildren--

been involved in much activism for decades--

so . . .--if you're under 65, be respectful!

Thanks 88,

for not taking it personal. I was being theatrical, partly out of frustration. I've seen so much of people being aghast at what is happening, forever encumbered by it's magnitude they are frozen and become addicted to being aghast, yet very few pointing to or doing what is necessary to fight. I know from your many posts you don't fit that description, and meant no disrespect.

Undo what Wilson did

you're fine--

I used to 'fight' every 'battle', and then I wore out. Honestly.

I have learned that the idea of 'you can't die on every hill' is correct--

but I am still an activist. As long as these bony hands can work--

spouse and I have watched our peers; they've gotten 'fat' as they've gotten older; we are thin and muscular--

kind of look like walking skeletons, and we're both tall--

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

There are ways to deal

with these "enforcement" thugs.
And when the time comes, people WILL deal with it correctly.
When they come for you, you just aren't home.
Instead, you are at THEIR houses, in an asymmetric response, while they are out.

In the meantime, they are cluing you in that you live in the wrong area, and should move to another location before things get hot.

but a woman's garden was simply . . .

didn't matter whether or not she was home--

Oklahoma, California--

why does that sound familiar--

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

I don't think you fully understood

the meaning of "asymmetric response".
But, that's okay. There are plenty of people who do.

The bottom line is that they will continue to do this, and it will get even worse as time goes on.
Until people decide to stop them.
