I would presume this has been initiated by lawyers for Ron Paul

and is about the legal case for protecting the civil rights of our delegates, including protecting them from any further physical harm.

To the delegates: you might note that there has been no further violence against the delegates since the filing of the lawsuit.

Furthermore, Dr. Paul is getting a considerable amount of publicity since this. LFRP are also receiving multiple requests for media interviews.
