Stanley Gibson was trying to find his way home.

The 43-year-old disabled war veteran was off his anti-anxiety medication and stricken with paranoia as he headed back to the apartment where he and his wife recently had moved.

In his confusion, Gibson ended up at an apartment complex a few blocks away, prompting suspicious residents to call police.

Officers confronted Gibson in his car, which was pinned between two patrol cars, ultimately firing a fatal shot. He was unarmed.

A breakdown in communication between supervisors and the firing officer might have contributed to the shooting, multiple department sources told the Review-Journal.

Hands-On Accountability for the Police Murder of Stanley Gibson

by William Norman Grigg

Stanley Gibson, a disabled Gulf War veteran, was murdered in a Las Vegas parking lot last December 12. He was shot seven times in the back of the head, without provocation, by a stranger wielding an AR-15 rifle. The killer, 34-year-old Jesus Arevalo, remains at large and is easy to find: He’s an officer with the Las Vegas Metro Police.

Gibson was unarmed. He was not a criminal suspect and posed no threat to anybody. His killing was a clear and unmistakable case of criminal homicide. Yet Arevalo has not been charged with a crime. He is on an extended vacation called "administrative leave," during which he continues to collect his taxpayer-funded salary and benefits.

Meanwhile, Gibson’s widow, Rhonda, has been left all but penniless. Her husband was a fully disabled combat veteran of the first Gulf War who suffered from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and cancer – the latter affliction most likely a result of prolonged exposure to depleted uranium. Over the past several years, Gibson’s disability benefits were consistently reduced and cut off entirely shortly before he was murdered by Arevalo.

LVPD, essentially: Oops, we intentionally hired illiterate morons who could not understand their supervisor's orders, and had to put taxpayer funded new toys for grown children to 'good' use, as to rationalize their need by breaking out the shiny new AR15's, often; so your unarmed loved one had to be murdered. And, we're not sorry one bit. Talk to our lawyers, and shut up, peons!

Got nothing nice to say, other than to say that the entire empire and the policestate cannot collapse soon enough.

Abolish the publicly funded policeforce, PERIOD!

And, that post-ashes of the collapse, hopefully however unlikely, the citizenry would wake up to the reality that the entire notion of a govt police force, a patrolling domestic occupying army, is an utter anathema to human freedoms, which has absolutely zero place in a free and open society (which we all know we're not, right now).

Plus, the fact that it truly is one of the last vestiges of the UK Empire, should give ALL of us pause, even the most rabid statist cultists; we threw them off in 1776, so why hell are we keeping their policestate English 'Royal' Subject control paradigm further instituted by the London Metro Police near the end of 19th century, and early part of 20th century, starting with NYPD & Boston PD, in America, of all places??
