Patience and Unity Through the Convention

This was Doug's message from last nights interview. So I would ask we all respect his wishes as I believe these are also the wishes of Ron Paul himself. So please, no more GJ stuff until after the convention. No more Rand bashing till after the convention. No more attacks on the campaign until after the convention.

I am calling for 60 days of Patience, Peace and Unity.

All in an effort to accomplish the maximum amount of our agenda in Tampa.

So who is with me?

This strory was written pre-Mass. Ousting. Times have changed.

That was then, and this is now. In 60 days there may not be any Ron Paul delegates left to show Patience, Peace and Unity.

I hope that Doug will write a strongly worded story about the tyranny that has taken place in Massachusetts.

As Doug said, there is a time

As Doug said, there is a time for talking and a time for silence. Trust that Ron knows which time this is and how to proceed. Don't do anything that may harm the strategy. Patience...

18 Ron Paul delegates just got thrown-out of Tampa.

The time for silence has long past, as has nearly the time for talking. What is the strategy, btw? I thought it was to get as many delegates from the caucus states as possible.

Keep poisoning the well Steve

Keep it up. Our division helps the establishment win.

Me poisioning the well? No. The actions of the GOP are though.

The truth is the truth. Facts are facts. I'm only stating the facts, and in some cases, the brutal truth. I'm trying to wake some of us up that there is no shiny-armored knight on a white horse coming to save us. We have been the only white knight that I see lately who is willing to fight. The ousting of MA delegates in just the latest in a trend of very negative news for the Liberty Movement. Hoping and wishing for things to improve occurred in the 2008 election cycle. When that campaign went south with similar GOP tactics, we said ah-shucks, nice try, we'll do better next time. Well, this is next time.

The War of Public Opinion.

I have no idea what "the strategy" is, but I do know that there is a war on right now for public opinion, and we are WINNING it.

This GOP decision in Massachusetts does NOTHING for Romney's campaign in that war. It is just another example of the tyranny that is spreading through our country like a plague, and it sets another nail in the coffin of the Romney campaign. If you want to do something, go post on yahoo boards or huffington post about how this decision exemplifies tyranny, but don't go shouting for pitchforks. LET PEOPLE MAKE UP THEIR OWN MINDS. This has been Dr. Paul's great strength from the beginning.

Look at Obama's desperate move last week to give 800,000+ illegal immigrants not only temporary amnesty but WORK PASSES. Then, Romney follows up by saying he will implement some kind of more permanent solution (Dream Act), maybe, if, but, etc. I doubt that sits too well with the MAJORITY of voters. We are WINNING the war of public opinion.

Don't screw that up, SteveMT, with a premature call to arms. Give the delegates and due process a chance.

SteveMT's picture

"Pitchforks, call to arms?" Where is that written?

Have we not been waiting for due process? This GOP action in MA is not the due process that we've been expecting, just more of the same. You are jumping to false conclusions about what I want to happen.

There are three possibilities:

1. Think nice thoughts, hope for the best, and await justice to be served, but to expect more of the same in the meantime. There are two months still left, so we should get prepared for much more of this.

2. Leave because you're feed up and had enough.

3. Take these people and the corrupt GOP to court. I support what the lawyers for Ron Paul are doing. The time for waiting has past.

Option #3 is what I want to happen. That is all, and not at all what you are saying about me.

OK.

I'm glad to hear it. I was responding to your tone, actually, not specific words.

I certainly hope that the Lawyers for Ron Paul group will be successful. However, I'm sure many people watched legal challenges of Obama's eligibility over the last few years and realize that there is a downside to making legal challenges that can be publicly ridiculed. When that happens, it makes it even harder for better-prepared legal challenges to succeed.

But hey, let's hope for the best.

They will be at the door in Tampa Demanding Oaths to Romney

If you don't sign you don't get in. Why? Because no one from the campaign bothered to fight back TODAY
