Corporations owning life. Scientists taking DNA out of plants and putting it into animals, or vice versa. Shooting electron cannons into genes to split off or insert strange chromosomes. Pigs without stress genes. Pollen wafting across fields, sterilizing neighbors' crops. Folks, this ain't normal.

Much of your DNA is actually virus DNA (and RNA)

The human genome is riddled with viral genes that have incorporated themselves into human DNA.

Genetic modification is quite normal. It is ubiquitous in nature.

Yes I think it's fine keeping a pre-term baby alive in an incubator.

It's hard

for a post-doc working 6 months in a lab to outperform 100s of thousands of years of trial and error.....
