It was the Senate that gutted and voted against a FULL audit in the last Congress.
In this Congress, Rand Paul's S 202 only has 20 cosponsors. 20 cosponsors will not get this bill passed.
See who the 20 cosponsors are here:

Thank you for this timely post a few days ago...
..would you be willing to update the headline so the twitting be easier? :)
And I wrote CA senator Diane Feinstein. Unfortunately she already has excuses. How to deal with that? Here is my CA thread on the FED:

Ron Paul ... forever.
Happy to Report
I am very happy to report that BOTH of my state's Senators have already co-sponsored this bill. In addition, my Congressman is a co-sponsor in the house. +1 for Oklahoma! :)

should be its own topic, Front paged and bumped.
Agreed.
There's already a thread for it here:

Two years ago, it was front paged every day. Now it seems like no one cares when this is one of Ron Paul's biggest priorities right now.
many of us do care...
...though I got the same impression yesterday when less than 5 people seemed interested in yesterday's primaries and very important run out elections.

There was no coverage on MSM of this bill today, though I might have missed it. Everyone is stuck in the strawman Fast & Furious.
Yet the discussion of the FED is already popular, Americans begin to understand. So this is a bitten path to re-introducing Ron Paul to them who is still in the race for Presidency as he said today June 27 on Cavuto:
"The battle for November has just begun!" There is a Cavuto thread on DP.
Ron Paul ... forever.
Done
Rubio (R-FL) is a co-sponsor so that's good, and Nelson (D-FL) is not. Both got eletters from me, and I also posted on Nelson's facebook wall.
R3VOLution
Yea!!! RP was just on CSpan giving a general speech
regarding wars - I have tears in my eyes and wonder how he's feeling right now?!?

This is not victory yet.
His bill passed the House three years ago but it was gutted by the Senate.
If we want to help get this passed for Ron Paul, we MUST pressure the Senate to pass S 202.
Twist
your senator's ear NOW!
One of mine is romney's friend Ron Johnson from Wisconsin
Its great to forgive, but that doesn't mean they qualify as "leader"!
Yah same here. Johnson voted
Yah same here. Johnson voted for NDAA, he should try to make it up for us with a co-sponsoring of Rand's bill.

This is what happened
Issa offered an amendment that would extend the time the audit can be completed from the end of 2012 to 12 months after the bill is enacted. Campaign for Liberty supports this amendment.
Cummings offered an amendment to gut the audit. He then withdrew it after it sounded like he had no support.
Cummings offered another amendment that would require some additional audit related to mortgages.
The bill passed with Issa's amendment and Cummings' second amendment.
A FULL audit bill is headed to the House.
Issa seems
like a stand up guy. Is he a friend of liberty?
Thats what I thought!
Awesome!!
End the Fed, and teach the people what value/wealth really is, and how easy it has been played with.
The amended bill now goes to the House
Issa said something about certain people can make technical changes to the bill. Not sure what that meant.

What just happened?? It
What just happened?? It sounded like Cummings' second amendment, which was an amendment to REPLACE the original text, passed. Didn't follow what his amendment was for.
Passes committee as amended
which one Issa's? Nothing in writing?
There is a pdf of his amendment just below the live feed

I'm confused as well...
Which amendments were just approved? Cummins threw two in there and then there was Issa's.
Cummings
Cummings withdrew his 1st amendment after Issa gave his speech about it im pretty sure.
I highly doubt Cummings wrote that script
.

Mr. Cummins
Is surely in the bankers pockets. No amendments that allow any kind of opacity for the federal reserve, d-bag!
Mr Cummings
Is sounding like a Fed apologist
Elijah Cummings is offering an amendment
to water down the bill.
Thats
What I picked up!
Stephen Lynch
one of the 13 who did not cosponsor HR 459 said he supports the bill
