He tilts to the so called "left" too much

I don't think he has a good grip on economics or the monetary system. Requiring a business to have retirement accounts? He also implied that health insurance through employment was a good thing. I remember an interview a couple of years ago where he said he thinks universal health care is a good thing. He was an independent as Governor of Minnesota, but most of his staff were democrats. He concerns me a bit and he will have a tough time in the libertarian party with his platform.

Time For Action

A person may say, informing is action.

I'm pretty much bored with Ventura.

Time for action or he loses credibility, I think he knows, "that, it is time".. He's an "action guy". Put up or shut up.

At least, drop the phoney wrestling association. It's for babies, a "childish toy". And he considers himself to be "a statesman", of sort?

Jesse Ventura is like Kucinich

Honest, love people, but half-baked. Since US schools do not teach free-market economy, it is not their fault. But RP supporters know better (sorry, Blue Republicans & populists, did not mean you.)

Jesse Ventura's arguments for trade unions will chime well with populist Tarpley, but cannot withstand arguments from economists (not even libertarians.) If workers' salary is more than their productivity, business cannot compete. The government must step in to offer tariffs, subsidies, grants, bail outs, ets. The inflation tax (from printing paper money funding the programs) hits the elderly and the poor the most. In case of tariffs & regulations, the elderly and poor pay for higher (monopoly) prices directly.

In that respect Jesse Ventura is a copy of 19th century socialist Lassalle who planted trade union seeds to Bismark's SocialPolitic.

Didn't watch the video

As much as I like Jesse I can't stand AJ. If it had even been Ian Punnet (who I despise) I might have watched it.
Oh, be careful that AJ (or his wife) don't send you a "cease and desist" and threaten to take you to court!

SHUT UP and go watch it!

SHUT UP and go watch it!

So, personal opinions are no longer allowed?

Is this what Ron Paul would say? "You are ORDERED to go watch this video!"
???????????

...

There traces of truth to these stories but they really try to inflame the idea more than it really is. Ventura and the whole wristband thing decapitating(he meant to say decommission or something along those lines), and Alex Jones has a tendency to jump to conclusions rather than ask the questions and draw conclusions logically. They have valid points but jumping to conclusions is a slippery slope. I'm sure some other people here have noticed it too. Bad journalism is jumping to the conclusion that makes a good story, thats the problem with journalism, there isn't always something bad going on but they have to report to a daily schedule rather than newsworthy events.
Example:
Someone goes Iraq to report the war but is only allowed at the base. This reporter wants a story on the action but can only report on the people sitting at the base. Not wanting to head back empty handed, he forges a story that is half truth but sounds good. In effect people get bad reporting and the reporter gets rewarded..... there is a difference between what you want to hear and what reality gives you....Correct me if I'm worng.

Jesse...

I like him. He isn't afraid of ANYTHING. He doesn't care about stepping on toes and says it exactly how he sees it...he calls things as they are.

I have admired Jesse...

since the days of my youth when he was a wrestler, then as I got older in film, Governor of Minnesota, and now with his show on TruTv, will season 3 be aired?

Hoping to hear more on Coast to Coast, stay tuned.

I'm wondering about when his

I'm wondering about when his show will be back too. I haven't heard him talk about it lately.

Jesse Ventura in the same interview later....

Says to vote for Gary Johnson. WTH?

Regarding Johnson

Jesse Ventura has also said he would switch and support RP if he is elected at the convention. But right now it doesn't look like that's going to happen.

Exiting times ahead of us!

True but...

I didn't say I agree 100% of what he says, I just admire his boldness and fearlessness! That is something many DP'ers have as well and part of the reason I am on this site...to learn from the best!
