Our man knows how to refute a lie. Wolf Blitzer is getting to be someone I like; he really gave Dr. Paul a chance to say everything he needed to say and Dr. Paul really took it home.
That was a tougher side of Ron Paul that I haven't seen much - he knows when to get serious!

I think Wolf actually likes Ron Paul a little bit. He was very nice, no interupting or the usual nasty tactics of news people. I like how Ron was assertive and repeated his main points. Awesome interview!

You can't touch this man. His ideas and thoughts are so PURE and his actions are consistent that he can never lose an attack as long as people remain logical and reasonable in their judgment.

I know who I'm voting for. Superficial campaign performances (debates, interviews, etc.) don't change the man's principles. But I do cheer when he does well and lament when he doesn't, because I know it affects the potential for others to join the movement.
Look, if you can't handle an honest assessment, and would prefer mindless cheerleading, perhaps it's time for you to find another candidate.
I don't mean that seriously, but it makes more sense than the "if you don't feel the campaign is going swimmingly, you shouldn't support Ron Paul" logic that you're throwing at me.
If it's at all possible for you to do so, look at that interview objectively and tell me Ron looked good and sounded good. I don't think my loyalty to the principles of liberty or choice of candidate should be in question just because I still have the occasional ability to be objective in analyzing rhetoric (after all, that's my friggin' job! :) ).

Sorry folks, that was not a good interview.
Ron looked tired, sounded edgy and irritated, and filibustered. This interview called for a much different approach, and a well-rested candidate. Those who are psyched about the interview are looking at it through rose colored glasses. They're hearing lines about "collectivism," ending the drug war, and "libertarianism;" and they're slurping it up. They're not considering how the average person (who doesn't support Paul) is going to receive that interview.
Bash me all you want. I'm voting for Paul this year, and I'm not a troll (look at my posting history and the work I've done). He's had my support since he formed his exploratory committee. He continues to have my support.
But I'm losing faith in our chances. Supporters seem to be divided between well-meaning cheerleaders and well-meaning conspiracy believers ("let's get a recount!"). We're turning off the overwhelming majority of the electorate. The grassroots has more energy than it knows what to do with, and half of its efforts are counterproductive. The official campaign hasn't impressed me. And I still can't figure out how the message of freedom -- backed by tons of Paulunteers and $20 million -- couldn't cobble 30,000 votes together in New Hampshire, of all places.

We need Faith. Take a few deep breaths and happy up man.
I find great reception in the black community. In Fact talking to black about Ron Paul is easier than talking to whites.

I Had mixed feelings
I saw a man who was feeling the pain of this horrible thing coming back to haunt him. I saw a man who was being unjustly called something and it was painful for him because it is so contrary to who he is. Talk about a man being misunderstood.
His explanations and passion about what he believes came through but he was frustrated and that showed. Even Wolf told him he had to expect this kind of thing if he wanted to be president. They will try to dig up every little piece of dirt on you and that is a fact. That is why I would never want to run for president and we have to do our best to support him when these things come up. One thing this did show is that he is very human and not some robot. Any of the other candidates would have responded like some phony or robot. He responded like any normal person would to vicious attacks on their character. I hope people can see that.
Pray that he will do better and calmer in the debates tonight.

If he's tired
If you're right that he's tired, that's not a good sign for tonight. In the past, the official campaign has planned campaign functions the night before the debates and then interviews bright and early in the morning. I don't think that's a great strategy for a successful debate.
You're right about the official campaign being incompetent. The right marketing strategy would have given him 3rd in New Hampshire.
