Oh Jack Hunter, say it ain't so: "Bilderberg conspiracies have become a handicap for the Liberty Movement "

Bilderberg conspiracies have become a handicap for the Liberty Movement
[No Jack, YOU have.]
by Jack Hunter | June 27, 2012
Bilderbirthers
In 2009, the so-called Birther movement became an embarrassing distraction for the conservative movement. Many conservatives spoke out against the Birthers, who believe President Barack Obama was actually born in Kenya, forged his birth certificate, and is therefore ineligible to be president. I surely did. Still, many insisted on subscribing to it, though luckily their numbers seem fewer today than ever.
For conservatives, Obama is bad. In fact, he's the biggest big-government president to date. Conservatives don't need conspiracy theories to convince them that Obama's agenda must be stopped. There is no need to look for secret conspiracies when the damage is being done in plain sight every day.
Most conservatives have come to see the Birthers as a political handicap, and the same is now true of the vocal minority obsessed with the Bilderberg Group, particularly those within the self-described Liberty Movement to which I belong.

David Kramer of LewRockwell.com weighs in on Jack's newest self-dug hole:
Jack Hunter Didn't Get the Mises Memo
Posted by David Kramer on June 27, 2012 10:47 AM
Ludwig von Mises's motto was, "Tu ne cede malis, sed contra audentior ito." [TRANSLATION: "Do not give in to evil but proceed ever more boldly against it."]
I like Jack Hunter. I think he is a terrific writer. Though he is probably more of a conservative than a classical liberal (I'm using Walter Block's yardstick here), I find that I agree with him on so many political and economic issues that I can say that I am glad to have Jack on my side of the political fence rather than on the other side. I also understand his concern that people such as myself who talk about the New World Order/One World Government conspiracy might be hurting or embarrassing our cause.
But to hide what one believes to be the truth rather than expressing it is being dishonest with one's self. If every one of us in the classical liberal/Austrian school of economics sphere had to worry that some of our views might hurt or embarrass our cause, then we wouldn't express our "racist" views on anti-discrimination laws (plus our "racist" views on the dictator Abraham Lincoln and his murderous assault on the southern states), our "cranky" views on the gold standard, our "greedy, capitalist pig" views on the free market, our "heartless" views on government welfare programs, our "irresponsible" views on re-legalizing ALL recreational drugs, our "immoral" views that prostitution should be legal...I could go on and on.
So I ask Jack Hunter and all the rest of the conservatives/classical liberals out there who believe that the mess we are in today is just the result of an avalanche of government "coincidental" missteps over the past hundred years: Why single out the "lunatic fringe" issue of the NWO/OWG conspiracy—something that many conservatives and classical liberals know to be true—as an issue to be silent about?

Jack's now childishly calling them Bilderbirthers??
Um, creating an unnecessary wedge within, much?
While many of us are aware, and have researched into the Bilderbergs, to my knowledge, NONE of us have ever put forth as if it should be some leading Liberty Movement platform.
So why the need to make an issue, out of a non issue?
No one who hasn't awakened on their own will not have any clue as to even 'join' the movement to begin with. And, since when do those who want to "END the FED!" give a damn about what others think?
Why is this whole Rand-train turning into a Socialist-eqsque collectivist group-think call to 'purge' some in the Liberty Movement by those who aren't even part of it? Especially, when it's targeting all the not-wrong people, for all the wrong reasons?
If anything, the Liberty Movement needs to purge unprincipled political operatives and ne'er do well leeches, who don't speak our values, nor critical thinking/dissent.
All Jack had to do was keep his mouth shut, and NOT plug Rand's decision ON Dr. Paul's official RP2012 campaign website.
On his own SouthernAvenger YT page? Fine, but it's doubly obnoxious to defend another man endorsing the opponent ON the website of the candidate STILL running against him!
This is just one more marker in the 'Bad' column for Jack.
Just WTF happened to Hunter??
Think this is where Jack Hunter officially loses me, as of today. Buh bye S. Avenger. Been nice while it lasted.

Addendum
Observing the nature of some of the responses, I frankly wanted to unplug the thread, but it'd be unfair to those who did respond.
This thread wasn't meant to divide, yet by pointing out the fact that I'm disappointed at someone whom I view to be creating a wedge... ironically has the similar effect of, too creating a wedge.
Damned if you do discuss the reality of the issue, damned if you don't.
Though, I'm glad all of this crap is being aired before Tampa, now.
In my defense, I'm not making any of these statements as the paid official blogger for the RP2012 campaign, posting an OpEd in defense of an endorsement for Romney, on the official Ron Paul 2012 campaign website, who if Jack has not noticed, is his boss, who is still running for the POTUS.
All of which, is a move in which a PR neophyte is telling him/herself: 'um... WTF? even I know to never praise an endorsement of your own boss's opponent, on his own website, before I ever interned here at this PR firm!'
It's like would Ford take out a full page of its own website, by its own paid blogger, to defend someone endorsing... a Toyota product, on Ford's own website? That's really the source of my contention with his decision. Not that he want to pursue whatever political route he deems best, in his mind.
That said, I would hope that those who respond to this thread would realize that their own responses to the thread also denote their own level of variances in their own level of sensitivity, and tolerance for dissenting opinions, as equally.
Yup... moi, go on slight off kilter potty mouthed commentary, and look what happens.o(
I ironically, too, created discord, just the kind I were pointing out. But pardon y'all it was not my intent.
Nevertheless, I welcome any and all commentaries and replies.
Thank You.

What Do Birthers Believe?
I have read some Birther web material and have listened to a Birther radio program from time to time, and it appears to me that their position is that it is suspicious that Obama goes to so much trouble to suppress his personal records. Most deny that they think Obama was born in Kenya, and claim to have no idea where he was born. The Kenya birth came from a bio released by a literary agent with no objection from Obama. Hunter seems to be pushing a mischaracterization of the Birther position, one used by the Obama supporters, to discredit the Birther movement. If there are any Birthers following this thread, would they please clarify this?
If Obama was born in Hawaii.
that would make him a "born" citizen.
our country was founded on the legal concept of "natural law".
who would "naturally" have citizenship? why do we carry our fathers surname?
hope that helps.....
it is the word NATURAL. is where the ummm.... malfunction comes in. why did they use that word? and only for this particular position?
peace.
This is bad
95% of Ron Pauls ase believes in the NWO, it is real, bilderberg is real. They are also Alex Jones fans. This together with Rands recent odd behavior when asked about the bilderbergs by a young reporter is very telling. Perhaps it is true after all, the neocons and the bilderbergers have taken over the revolution/libertymovement. This is not good at all. Divide and conquer is Tryvg Olsons MO. The neocons want to coopt or destroy us. I guess they have decided destroying us is easier, scatter us about so we are powerless. We only have power marching as one single unit.
The only person that shold be purged is Tryvg Olson. I was starting to trust Rand and the whole campaign again. This jus put them back on my sh*t list.

STAND WITH RAND 2016
You can
believe in the NWO without buying into Alex "Manbaby" Jones' fake crying and fear-mongering.
Very true. Don't much care
Very true.
Don't much care for Alex personally. But still fully aware of the NWO etc.
"If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy." -- James Madison
I wonder if Jack knows
he is hurting the movement and himself more with this than helping it. It is alienating us even further.
My thoughts is the NWO is real, but Alex Jones is a complete fraud who is out to fake cry and reach deep into the pockets of those who become gripped by his fear-mongering. I personally would like to see the liberty movement confront Jones and to ask him to chill out and do his radio shows, but stop trying to derail everything just like Jack Hunter is derailing things with what he wrote. Alex Jones tosses out whatever whim of a conspiracy he has in his mind shotgun style while never offering solutions. That is why I believe him to be a fake.
People need to have a lot of hope right now, it is the only thing that will get us through this mess. Fear-mongering and dividing movements for monetary gain needs to be stamped out.
My hope is in God and a coming moral revolution.
Alex Jones is far from perfect....
and is certainly not the ideal person to be in a leader within the movement, but he's done a hell of a lot more than Jack Hunter ever has. The thing with Alex is, he makes himself a leader by getting out there and doing it, I may not agree with how he does it all the time or how he expresses himself but I can't deny that he's doing it to the extreme on a daily basis. The guy is just an average red neck but he has motivation and passion and get's things done and gets the word out, and it may not always be on the best terms but I believe is still effective and until I do more I feel it's tough to really criticize him.
Back in 2007 and 2008 when I was first introduced to this movement I thought Alex Jones was nuts, and I also used to feel that the conspiracy stuff hurt our movement. Then after the 2008 election was over all the RP supporters were gone, no more meet ups, no more emails nothing, just gone. Alex was the one who continued to yell the loudest every day so I started researching the stuff on my own and found out that a lot of the stuff he was talking about was actually true, it is just his approach and rhetoric that was pushing me away. Now I'm used to it and even find him entertaining, I mean he makes jokes and does voices about issues only our movement would understand. However he's not the guy I'm going to recommend when introducing someone to our movement. I feel like he'd turn off more people than anything, but as I said he's doing it, he's doing something and obviously he success shows he's effective to a certain point. You really can't turn on any other radio show and hear half of what your hear on his show, his guests and interviews really are great.
You reinforce my point...
he is using "truths" but presenting it in a manner that will turn most people away... What does that do? It bottlenecks the amount of people who are introduced to these ideas, thus making most walk away thinking, "Wow, ok, so you have to be some redneck weirdo who believes the sky is falling at every moment who doesn't believe there is any hope for humanity to be apart of this movement." And they reject the message due to not wanting all the negativity that fear-mongering creates.
When people "wake up" they usually experience a dark period where they can't believe the truth is stranger than fiction. Well, Jones doesn't help people through that period. He never gives solutions, only more FEAR FEAR FEAR. Someone even slowed down parts of his "Police State" series and showed subliminal messages that say "Submit to Fear."
Tune him out. He needs to not make any money and the truth needs to shift to people who have ideas, solutions, and a true love for humanity. Not a narcissistic redneck who loves attention.
I enjoy
Alexs lively presentation. It beats the hell out of the dead fis you see on TV, without the little bit of human emotion they do show you would think they would get taken to the morgue.
"But you must remember, my fellow-citizens, that eternal vigilance by the people is the price of liberty, and that you must pay the price if you wish to secure the blessing." - Andrew Jackson
So you
enjoy watching a grown man cry? Fake cry at that. Also get insanely mad and fake angry to the point of being hysterical? The dude is a quack. Using "some" truths to make money while totally ruining and keeping anyone who is sane and rational away from hearing the truth. Alex Jones presents things in such a manner, to where most people aren't going to listen. Only those who are skeptical of government before listening to him are going to keep listening.
All the intelligent people I know are disgusted by Alex Jones and they will not listen to what he has to say. Then when other people who aren't completely fake and crazy like Alex Jones talks about conspiracies, they automatically associate everything with Manbaby Jones. He is a gatekeeper keeping people from seeing the truth.
How can
Alex be a fraud when he allows you to sign up for his site and share the same account with multiple people. Also most of the DVD movies he sells are on youtube for free. Matter of fact he tells people to buy one, make copies and pass it around. Or give people the original. You would never see that zionist shill Glenn Beck do that. Hes in it for the money, the FRNs. You need to wake up, Alex does offer solutions. Everyone know what the solution is, for Americans to stop being cowards thinking they will vote themselves into a better situation and take our country back by force. You sound like one of those neocon types like Rush that calls Ron Pauls followers Waco nutjobs. You also sound like the cointelpro drones/trolls that swarm Alex videos on youtube whining about fear mongering. Everything Alex says is true. If you don't like it go stick your head back in the sand.

Everything he says is true?
A year ago he had a website (endofamerica13.com?) that claimed the USA's status as the world reserve currency would definitely end in six months. He has a list of things you should do to protect yourself from the impending doom. Of course you had to buy the list. ( I didn't) and thank god, because we still have the world reserve currency
Radiohead gave away an album
Radiohead gave away an album online only and it led to their biggest selling tour ever.
Listen to how worked up and pissed off he gets you. He's playing you.
He's the Rush of Conspiracy with the tact of Mark Levin. Most of what he says is not true... Most of what he says is mostly true. He takes the truth and then figures it into his narrative, like the MSM basically.
That would be nice
I do get angry. But I have never paid for any of Alex's stuff. Never. I watch it all for free on youtube and I have a free account of infowars where I comment on articles. You people need to give it a rest. Alex is not a fraud and he is not just after money. You can take his youtube videos and reupload them. He does not come after you for copyright claims. you people don't know jack sh*t.

Do you understand
the "micropayment" industry? Like all the dumb zygna games on facebook and free 2 play online games. They are free, but to accelerate your account and play with the big dogs, you can use cash to buy points. Well, only 5% of the users end up going that route and actually spending money. The thing is, those people end up getting addicted and spending LOTS of money. It only takes a few out of many to fill the coffers up with gold. Alex Jones is focused on that business model and those few "White Whales" that fill his coffers.
TONS of gaming companies have switched to this business model and are making more than they ever did with the old model.
Don't tell me to wake up when you are the one who is in the slumber.
So where did the money come
So where did the money come from to do all this?
Remember, he has advertisers. If you're not uploading and driving traffic to him, he doesn't get paid. Free content drives paid content online.
Hack Hunter's swan song.
Jack Hunter's a con man saying 'nothing to see here' while the truth is right in front of people.
It's like in a bad movie. If a fight broke out between 13 midgets dressed in drag using light sabers, Jack Hunter would be the cop directing traffic. "Nothing to see here folks, keep it moving."
Move along liberty movement. Closed door meeting with Globalists and Fascists are just a distraction, and noticing hurts the liberty movement. There's nothing to see here because Jack Hunter says there's nothing to see here.
"The Southern avenger?" What exactly was he going for with that? Was he trying to portray himself as some kind of KKK superhero? If there was a comic book for Klan members, on the front there would be a picture of Jack Hunter dressed up like He-Man in a white hood. Under him would be the title; "The Southern Avenger"
He's an establishment fraud.
I think that there is some serious cyber-bullying

Adam misses the point
Adam seems to miss the point here. When Jack speaks of conservatism. He isn't talking about the high jacked conservatism of Sean Hannitty and Mark Levin. He isn't saying he want to hang out with the likes of Eric Cantor and John Boehner. And certainly isn't speaking of the fake tea partiers like Scott Brown. He is talking about the sincere, principled conservatism of Ron Paul. Libertarianism is the soul of conservatism.
for the record
i think obama being Kenyan or whatever is the least of the USA's worries.
Hunter is co-opted and for estab, hence got hired into Paul camp
only the corrupt and the sick co-opted make it into the pual campaign, who then send out donations pleas to which rp supporters race like a herd to answer that estab calling.
hunter has been this pathetic traitor for a long time. he is just revealing his self now, as he is completing the damage he's been doing to paul for a long time.
remember, hunter would never criticize romney, but only pounce brutally on romney's conservative rivals at the time they threatened romney. so, hunter was working for romney only all along by being on paul's campaign.

1. Jack Hunter's handle as
1. Jack Hunter's handle as the "Southern Avenger" is more "dangerous" to the movement than the "Bilderbergers" because most people would say that handle is racist and most don't even know what Bilderberg is.
2. Jack Hunter is looking out for Jack Hunter, not the liberty movement.
3. Getting over 125 of the more powerful folks in the world together at one spot and having the agenda being secret, like Bilderberg does, is a clear red flag. If 125 of the better NBA players got together and kept their meeting secret, the media would be demanding answers from an organization that doesn't affect many people. Bilderberg affects every single person on this planet.
Yeah you obviously haven't
Yeah you obviously haven't been listening to Jack Hunter since Ron's 2008 campaign, you know, before 2010 when he was hired by Rand: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iqlnl-T3Gxk
rand didn't hire hunter, rand's estab bosses olson/tate & co did
the hiring. rand has no say and is nothing more than a puppet. that is way ron's own son turned out. and you are one of those rp supporters that turned out like rand, awaiting to serve your master romney at all costs.

Okay I'll play your game:
Okay I'll play your game: what if Rand's life were threatened? Haha yeah I serve Romney. Who do you serve because it sure as hell isn't the liberty movement.
