Why Mitt Romney won't face the Tea Party in NHSubmitted by Jane Aitken on Wed, 06/27/2012 - 20:54
So far, these are the complaints we have heard about Romney.
On all issues of concern to the tea party relating to Foreign Policy, Personal Freedom, and items of a Fiscal nature, Romney fails. His policies are no different than that of Obama's.
Why did Romney say he approved of a bill (NDAA) that would allow ordinary Americans to be detained indefinitely without cause? There is no explanation for this. Obama signed this bill into law.
What would Romney do to stop the Federal Reserve from their inflationary practices which have traditionally hurt the middle class while padding their own private coffers? Apparently nothing. Romney's response was to give a furtive NO to abolishing the Fed. He apparently thinks they and their collection agency (IRS) are already audited and has been heard to say that Bernanke is doing a fine job. Both Romney and Obama are supported by Wall Street.
Some foreign countries have as many as 13,000 lobbyists in DC and get more than $30 Billion per year from the USA. What would Romney do to stop this redistribution of our wealth overseas? Apparently nothing since Romney recently met with some of these lobbyists and was pandering to them. Obama has not cut aid to any foreign countries either.
Who would Romney consult before he agreed to send troops into the battlefield in foreign countries?
Romney said he wouldn't have to get congressional permission for a military strike on Iran. Obama has consulted NATO and the UN but not Congress.
