Give up or keep dreamingSubmitted by RS on Fri, 06/29/2012 - 10:03
You'll probably not like to hear this yet realize the "revolution" is over. Ron Paul has done an excellent job in communicating to us all the principles of liberty and freedom. His books and speeches will be studied for years to come. I say, God bless Ron Paul!
It may come as a surprise to you that this "movement" has accomplished nothing. If Obamacare (or whatever it's called) couldn't be stopped by angry citizenry (anymore than the bailouts could be stopped) then don't expect anything better to occur.
Don't kid yourself- NO ONE is waking up.
I read the talk about Jack Hunter and was very curious as to why his writings even matter? Are we all so weak we have to get our ideas from someone else?
We've all seen the disaster of the electoral process. Simply put- your vote only counts if the system wants it to matter. As for the delegate process- another deceptive show. So you got elected to be a delegate at the CON-vention? Supposedly some delegates got kicked out by THE PARTY. Another waste of your time.
This is the end. The system has won. Yes, say "quit". Get on with your lives and live in peace if you can. Any talk about the Federal Reserve and phoney money are of no consequence- no one will listen to you and even if they do it makes no difference- the bankers want the system to continue and you simple DO NOT MATTER.
Vote for the latest stooge that claims to be some "liberty" candidate. They were crawling out of the wood-work early in the campaign. No-names with an even more impressive list stupid ideas seeking after only one thing- POWER.
Being a "voice in the wilderness" is a waste of time. It accomplishes nothing. While people might agree with you on issues, such as, the income tax is unConstitutional, they understand the reality of liens against their property from the unConstitutional IRS are a lot more powerful than your foaming at the mouth.
Speaking of that worshipped document- The Constitution. Ever wonder why they had to con-vince the American people to accept it? Ever wonder why Patrick Henry was opposed to it and many people left America when it was ratified? They understood that it would create the monster we have today- a centralized government. A lot of good it has done us all. Heck, they couldn't even get the 2nd Amendment written clearly enough to avoid ambiguity!! And all of those "rights" you think you were granted by the Constitution are gone and are of no effect.
Worshipping America and it's Christian heritage is insane. The US government was never founded on Christian principles. If it were then they wouldn't have prevented a religious test as a condition for public office. Because some court says America is a Christian nation doesn't make it so. The majority of people in the 1700's and early 1800's were Christian- that is the extent to which America WAS a Christian nation.
I'm sick of it all. The success of the movement isn't "just around the corner"- it's never coming.
I won't let the door hit me on the way out- I'll be running way too fast.
