Give up or keep dreaming

You'll probably not like to hear this yet realize the "revolution" is over. Ron Paul has done an excellent job in communicating to us all the principles of liberty and freedom. His books and speeches will be studied for years to come. I say, God bless Ron Paul!

It may come as a surprise to you that this "movement" has accomplished nothing. If Obamacare (or whatever it's called) couldn't be stopped by angry citizenry (anymore than the bailouts could be stopped) then don't expect anything better to occur.

Don't kid yourself- NO ONE is waking up.

I read the talk about Jack Hunter and was very curious as to why his writings even matter? Are we all so weak we have to get our ideas from someone else?

We've all seen the disaster of the electoral process. Simply put- your vote only counts if the system wants it to matter. As for the delegate process- another deceptive show. So you got elected to be a delegate at the CON-vention? Supposedly some delegates got kicked out by THE PARTY. Another waste of your time.

This is the end. The system has won. Yes, say "quit". Get on with your lives and live in peace if you can. Any talk about the Federal Reserve and phoney money are of no consequence- no one will listen to you and even if they do it makes no difference- the bankers want the system to continue and you simple DO NOT MATTER.

Vote for the latest stooge that claims to be some "liberty" candidate. They were crawling out of the wood-work early in the campaign. No-names with an even more impressive list stupid ideas seeking after only one thing- POWER.

Being a "voice in the wilderness" is a waste of time. It accomplishes nothing. While people might agree with you on issues, such as, the income tax is unConstitutional, they understand the reality of liens against their property from the unConstitutional IRS are a lot more powerful than your foaming at the mouth.

Speaking of that worshipped document- The Constitution. Ever wonder why they had to con-vince the American people to accept it? Ever wonder why Patrick Henry was opposed to it and many people left America when it was ratified? They understood that it would create the monster we have today- a centralized government. A lot of good it has done us all. Heck, they couldn't even get the 2nd Amendment written clearly enough to avoid ambiguity!! And all of those "rights" you think you were granted by the Constitution are gone and are of no effect.

Worshipping America and it's Christian heritage is insane. The US government was never founded on Christian principles. If it were then they wouldn't have prevented a religious test as a condition for public office. Because some court says America is a Christian nation doesn't make it so. The majority of people in the 1700's and early 1800's were Christian- that is the extent to which America WAS a Christian nation.

I'm sick of it all. The success of the movement isn't "just around the corner"- it's never coming.

I won't let the door hit me on the way out- I'll be running way too fast.

That's even worse than the progressives or neocons

that are in blissful ignorance; you know that we live under tyranny yet you take the cowards way out. This quote isn't my signature for nothing, summer soldiers and sunshine patriots aren't what will bring victory or liberty to our shores anyway and, unfortunately, not everyone has the strength of character to fight this :

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude
better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace.
We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Small problem: it's OUR R3VOLUTION!

The R3VOLUTION! is the grassroots support for Ron Paul. The R3VOLUTION CONTINUES!

It's OURS. We invented the R3VOLUTION! logo and it's ethics. The campaign first avoided the logo but then they adopted it.

It's over when we are. And we ain't.

There is nothing strange about having a bar of soap in your right pocket, it's just what's happening.

YEESSSSS!

The Revolution is Happening!

We are not going away and the establishment
And MSM know this ... Why else would they be fighting,
Cheating, and lying to prevent us from
Getting delegates??

No One But Ron Paul 2012!

in a way I agree and in a way

in a way I agree and in a way I don't. It's true that there is nothing left to fight for politically. Americans have shown themselves to be way too stupid to support Ron Paul and pretty much deserve the police state and it's inevitable bankruptcy and fall. I hope you and your kids and everyone on here live through it.

But in another way the fight to educate people to the principles of liberty is still worth fighting for. These must be taught in order to have something to start rebuilding after America falls and/or breaks up like the Soviet Union did.

Never give up!

The Occupation Party (TOP) is of the position that the political process in America belongs to the people of the United States. Therefore, TOP does not accept contributions of money and/or any item(s) or series of items of significant financial value from any special interest group(s), lobbying group(s), PAC(s), super-PAC(s), and/or non-profit organization(s), regardless of operating structure, and/or corporate entity(ies), government agent(s), and/or agency(ies). Although TOP finds common ground with many such groups and sources and may respect and appreciate the work they do, TOP does not accept contributions from them.
For present purposes, “special interest group” means any discernible group that regularly attempts to influence legislators in favor of one or more particular interests or issues. The term also includes any discernible group whose members control some field of activity and/or have common aims and pursue them as a unit.

The Occupation Party (TOP) Platform

Our first task is to develop and promote legislation that will address the serious flaws in our financial, political, and taxation systems. Therefore, we need to accomplish the following:

Restore Reasonable Regulation to the Financial System

Ensure Equal Justice for All

Enact Campaign Finance and Electoral Reform

Implement Fair Tax Reform

Implement Lobbying Reform

http://theoccupationparty.org/platform

The Occupation Party position on protest and direct action advocates non-violence. We will raise our voices, exercise our rights to assembly and free speech, and bring change to our political process and government through nonviolent means.

Our Constitution is clear: The purpose of our government is to represent all of us and promote the general welfare. It is not to represent and promote the welfare of the few. We stand in solidarity with OWS and are committed to restoring our government to its original purpose as outlined in the Constitution. In fact, we have a most wonderful Constitution that provides for open discussion and change in government practices so that we do not need to resort to violence.

Yes, something is horribly wrong with our political, financial, and economic systems. They need to be fixed so that they work for all of us, not just 1% of us. We will practice nonviolence, and we will work through the system for change. We won’t take corporate money, and we won’t succumb to the rot that money is causing in our system of government. We will practice nonviolent direct action within the political system. And we won’t go away.

The Occupation Party (TOP) Candidates:

Cory Ray
The Occupation Party (TOP) is pleased to announce the candidacy of Cory Ray for New York State Assembly, District 24.

Mr. Ray is dedicated to the TOP core values of transparent government and getting money out of politics. As a candidate who believes he can help usher in change, Mr. Ray says ” I believe that you deserve a personal phone call, email, text message, or any other meaningful contact to solicit your support for every single measure the government might affect you with.” He stands on the principles of direct representation and general assembly-style consensus that will take us from the government we currently have to one that will work better for all citizens.

Cory Ray is one of many Occupiers who seeks to take the message of the OWS movement into our government at all levels in order to reform the system so that it represents everyone.

You can learn more about Cory Ray and his campaign by visiting his Facebook page CoryRay for NYS Assemblyman or http://theoccupationparty.org.

For more information, contact Cory Ray at 518-705-7936.

Lance Enderle
The Occupation Party (TOP) is pleased to announce that it endorses Lance Enderle, Democratic candidate for Congress from Michigan’s 8th district.

Mr. Enderle represents what we think of as the ideal candidate. In his own words, he says, “I am not afraid to make the hard decisions that are needed, and will never forget who I represent. I want to be a voice of the people and not the special interests. Money should not be the dominant influence on our political process, it is imperative that we get back to the root of our great American experiment called Democracy.” He has been involved with Occupy Lansing from the start, and his positions on important issues are aligned with our draft platform.

He’s been through life’s ups and downs: he’s a parent and a grandfather. He’s been a teacher in the Lansing school district and has a master’s degree in special education. He has direct experience with modern economic life, having been laid off from a teaching position while still paying for a mortgage, paying for college loans, and supporting his family.

For more information about the Lance Enderle for Congress campaign, visit http://lanceenderleforcongress.com/ or follow his Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/LanceEnderleForCongress.

Too bad.

Meds out of sync? Too much fluoride in your water?

Not too sure about the percentage but don't think this is too far off. The [original] Revolution had only 20% or so of the people involved.
When you consider the majority of American's IQ is pretty low, what do you expect? In our society there are leaders, followers and victims. Those aware of the problem working to correct it, - Unaware and oblivious or- Aware but too lazy, depressed to be of use. You chose which you want to be and pay the price for your choice.
It takes work, nothing in life is "free", especially FREEdom.

Give up or keep dreaming

Give up or keep dreaming???

IT'S CALLED THE AMERICAN DREAM. PEOPLE HAVE DIED TO BE A PART OF IT AND PEOPLE HAVE DIED PROTECTING IT. WE DON'T GIVE UP!!!! WE ARE AMERICAN PATRIOTS AND WE'VE BEEN TRAINED ALL OUR LIVES THAT WE DO NOT LOSE OR BOW TO OPPRESSION. THE ONLY REAL QUESTION IS DO WE WIN NOW OR LATER!!! THERE IS NOT QUIT!!!

YOU AND "THEY" OBVIOUSLY FORGOT WHO YOU WERE MESSING WITH!

Nuts

The American Dream? Like Carlin said, "It's called the American dream because you have to be asleep to believe it".

Died protecting the American Dream? When? The last American war we had was the murderous Civil war. No one died protecting America since the civil war.

Of course you bow to oppression! You do it every day.

As to winning- you'll never win. Unless the moral climate changes in this country, nothing will change.

Freedom is largely misunderstood. Freedom is the ability to do that which is morally right. Slavery is doing that which is wrong.

Some genius said on a different post that I should work within the "party" to change it. Get on some assinine "committee" or something. That will have no effect whatsovever and I don't intend to spend the rest of my life trying to manipulate people and the party's stupid rules.

Here's a better idea- forget the Federal level stuff. Why not run for school board and get the property taxes down? That'll be as successful as working at the Federal level.

There is no amount of emotional energy which is worth expending in a cause no one is interested in supporting. At the end of the day, so to speak, you'll sit back and say, "well, I keep the faith...but accomplished nothing".

Until the bankers want things to be different there will be no change. And when they do want to alter things they'll do it in the only way they know how- they'll destroy the country that's causing them grief.

So

Quote: "you'll never win. Unless the moral climate changes in this country, nothing will change."

so your saying it will only change if people take action however, you also say you won't fight for a cause unless the majority has already signed up "a cause no one is interested in supporting". Well have a good life sir or Madam we'll see you again come November, no doubt.

The rEVOLution is not over

There are hundreds of Ron paul Republicans like me who worked to get seated on Central Committees so we can restore America to constitutional government.

On central committees we vet issues and candidates,, and I'm educating MY committee.

I suggest you get on your committee and do the same, or remain a victim/ AKA primary/ general election voter.

I can see it's over for you, since you only went half way, IF you became a Republican at best.
