It's ID/IQ

ID/IQ contracts are becoming the norm because the gov't can turn them off almost any time they want by simply not issuing the next task order. It doesn't necessarily mean PD-RX will get all $46.5 M of that. Usually they are issued task orders which they have to propose against first (which is a pain in the butt plus expensive).

Also, most contracts worth less than $50M can be approved at a relatively lower level rather than having to go higher up the food chain in DoD to get approval.

But yes MIC includes all kinds of technologies, not just guns, bullets, aircraft, ships, missiles, etc.
