Video: Ron Paul First Pitch @2012 Congressional Baseball Game

"Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, on Thursday night was named the newest inductee into the congressional baseball hall of fame. Sporting the same retro, neon orange-and-yellow Astros jersey he wore when he hit his famous home run in 1979, Paul threw out the first pitch of the 51st annual CQ-Roll Call game to his son, Sen. Rand Paul"

RON PAUL 2012 * Restore America * Bring The Troops Home

LOVE how brisk he was with the 'accepting the plaque'-part!

the Doc, humble to the last: 'nope, no need for praises and platitudes. thank you.'

gotta love the stretch before the wind up. and a beautifully completed pitch. he makes it look so easy.

coolest septuagenarian alive!

ps. anyone know if that was a 'regulation' 60'6" distance between the mound and the home plate?

Wow, I've noticed this before but Dr. Paul looks so much like my dad. My dad was born in 1934 and passed away in 1991 from pancreatic cancer. But his hair and facial features were a lot like Dr. Paul. Love to see you smile sir because you remind me of my dad!
