Dont shoot the messenger but if what the author writes is correct we need to do something about it.

Reagan Won Because He Attacked Liberals by Name
I agree with the following paragraph and I believe it was the main reason why people in New Hampshire started taking their RP yard signs down after the ABC Debate last Saturday:
"Paul has managed to accomplish the exact opposite. Instead of characterizing his opponents as liberals, he has let them characterize him as a liberal. This has been disastrous. Exit polls in New Hampshire showed that voters who characterized themselves as conservative were the least likely to vote for Paul. He did best among voters who saw themselves as liberals."
If you go to www.technorati.com, most of the blogs mentioning Ron Paul on the Internet are negative about him. We do not own the Internet. The conservatives tend to hate him for being "cut and run Ron". This is because much of the anti-war rhetoric is not coming from the paleo conservative non-interventionism playbook, but the Moveon and Michael Moore playbook
Tonight, Ron Paul needs to concentrate on Individual Rights and how collectivist Democrats and RINOs think big government is the answer even for problems that are only PERCEIVED by special interest groups to exist.
Remember the NOW report that men tend to beat their wives on Super Bowl Sunday? There is no such problem, but guy like John McCain would have voted for legislation that regulated men or designated anti-domestic-violence advertising on Super Bowl Sunday.
McCain is a LIBERAL. Ron Paul has tonight to call McCain that by name and back it up with some of the wacky laws like IMBRA that McCain supported.
And little anecdotes of what wacky laws do to people need to be made in abundance. The story of the Amish man being arrested for selling fresh milk would be priceless...even if it is not true.
No matter what happens, WE WIN
happy now:)
Positive post please!!! stay positive!
"It does not take a majority to prevail ... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." - Samuel Adams
"The use of 'Conspiracy Theorist' or 'Truther' as a derogatory -- as an epithet almost -- is something the propagandists have perfected over the decades, and it's a useful tool for eliminating articulate dissent."
I think tonights debate.... is a make or break moment
If we want to WIN the REPUBLICAN nomination..
This article makes great points.. and deals totally with style and getting ELECTED vs.. what Dr. Paul is saying.... and I would have to agree... WE NEED TO WIN THIS THING>.... not just run a good race..
I saw something fantastic in Dr. Paul's interview with Wolf today on CNN... if Dr. Paul will bring that fervor and fire to the debate tonight... AND he if can start ADDRESSING CURRENT EVENTS with SOLID WAYS OF DOING THEM DIFFERENTLY... talk in the now.. and NOT just with the regular speech..... I KNOW WE WILL HAVE A CHANCE
Lets see how tonight goes....I WILL NEVER QUITE REGARDLESS HOWEVER....
RIGHT IS RIGHT... and Ron is Right!
Never...mind...this is old news...and has been said over over
Why are some keeping this line of thinking going...over, over, over....this article content has been said over, over, over on this board.
It is time to stop...call HQ if you want to disparage, distract and divide--especialy, like it or not...HQ leadership..write to them...
This is unfortunately dead on
Dismiss it if you like, but the campaign has poorly managed the huge growth in support and money and failed to hone a message that most voters can support. There's still a few weeks before Feb 5th to change things, but the campaign must act immediately.
