On a site like this, we have to moderate each other.

We are all moderators in a sense. Is one true Liberty-minded member worth ten imitators? Right now, that answer is yes, as it always has been. Staying vigilant is the key. No worries.

I see

YOU want to stop free speech because OTHER'S don't think like YOU do... well if that isn't the epitome of liberty I don't know what is...

U.S Constitution

Amendment I.

Read it, love it, embrace it. Now go back to being an Aussie and leave the U.S. to the Americans.

Moderators Please Remove Nivlekius & Other Obvious Trolls

This guy - yes you Nivlekius - has posted about a dozen times in this thread and definitely another few dozen extremely spiteful comments on YouTube. This kind of demented anger has no place here. Free speech is one thing but he is only using it to agitate and incite. He's the very opposite of anything Liberty lovers represent.

hmmm?

Demented anger? Truth is truth.

BTW, are you a hippie or what? Love is one thing a political movement is quite another. I love my fellow man enough to get angry and yes perhaps die for them. Do you understand that? This isn't a hippy movement dude, the love is about allowing others to be who they are and respecting others and not killing innocents around the world. This isn't about sucking the dick of anyone who also happens to like Ron Paul. This is about the freedom of the individual and loving mankind enough to leave them be.

Excuse me

I am entitled to my opinions thank you very much. Just another person trying to usurp the 1st amendment aren't you? Aaaaw I don't agree with you and that makes you angry. So what? Are you only a defender of the constitution when it suits you? All of my posts have been 100% valid. I can't say the same for your attempt to suppress my freedoms.

I think the moderators should be banning YOU for being a traitor to the constitution.

WOW!

This is the single most ridiculous video on the internet. So embarrassing.

Myself

I have to agree. I don't know why the fanboys love it so much but fanboys is as fanboys does I guess. Eh, they'll be gone once the SHTF and crying that they love Big Brother. Tools and sheep as such should just go back to Obama.

My 2 cents...

First of all, thank you to all who worked on this video! Clearly a lot of time and effort went into this and it shows. For a future video I would love to combine Jeremy's production talents with messaging that is a bit more to the point, emotionally charged, and "impactful". Maybe prior to Tampa we can have people submit scripts, vote on the top ones, and have Jeremy's team do the production? I think with that combination we could really knock this out of the park!!

Our forefathers fought for freedom on the battlefield. Our generation will fight for freedom by educating the electorate. I rant on the web. I am a Virtual Soldier.

Democracy?

Democracy does not good art make.

"If you’re into political activism, at least for Ron Paul if not for anyone else, I strongly recommend spending some time with iroots.org." - Tom Woods

Wow

That was painful to watch. I guess if you believe the phrase "any publicity is good publicity" then go ahead and twitterbomb it, but I find it embarrassing

Money wasted and liberty movement. Embarassing is right word.

is not portrayed in a good light or with enough good info to entice others. it may turn people off, that if this is the depth of liberty, then they are fine where they are now as is.

And here is another person spending way too much time

in their unproductive life to criticize this film. It must be gnawing at some part of your psyche for you to to spend so much time on this thread. Why are you letting this little film get to you?

Good question

I have wondered why the haters are spending so much time on this thread. It must be because it is good. Jeremy, you should take all the hate as a compliment!

I got it

I got it. I think. The status quo is so last century. Truth and Liberty are sexy in the 21st century. Or something along those lines...

I liked it. I'll watch it again.

Yep

More or less, that's the baseline theme of the piece. Liberty ROCKS :)

Liberty Rocks

Yeah I noticed it has the classic power chord riff in the background.

The blonde anchor

I think the blonde news anchor girl, is "Liv" the girl who back in the 08 campaign stripped off her top to reveal her Ron Paul 2008 pink ladies t underneath.

Ahhh

I was thinking that too as soon as I saw her.

TwitterBomb

The TwitterBomb starts in 5 minutes!

Good cinematography,

but it's lacking when it comes to communicating the intended message. It gets lost in the pretty pictures.

Consider cutting it down to 3 minutes and you might be able to expand to an audience beyond the die hard Ron Paul supporters who already know everything in the video anyway.

Campaign for Liberty

Hey everyone,
This post is unrelated to the video but I just received a call from Campaign for Liberty and they said they're planning a grass roots campaign to get the word out on Dr. Paul's Audit the Fed bill. If ou can at all give to them. Their goal is 1.5 million in the next week. Thanks guys. I love being able to stand with fellow like minded liberty lovers. The Liberty movement continues!!! http://www.campaignforliberty.com/

I would recommend not donating to tate/campaign for liberty.

tom woods put a youtube video out at one point warning others and paul about tate. he does / will not include paul's foreign policy in it.

how the money will be used specifically is uncertain, as well its effectivity. there is no need to raise millions to get the word out about the bill. tate & co never used the several tens of millions in campaign donations to get the word out about paul's platform or defend him, other than go after romney's cons rivals.

paul can get free coverage of this from the various media interviews he has had. and others can also get the media attention. as well as rand, instead of ignoring romneycare and bashing obamacare.

Shooting ourselves in the foot

Like making exaggerated negative comments about 'Elektable', I think we have a tendency to shoot ourselves in the foot in the Liberty movement...or 'eat our own,' as they say.

Video made from this response > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAbV5u3KwF0

I don't want to say that we should always follow the cliche, "If you can't say something nice, don't say nothin' at all," (Thumper) but it rings true on a certain level. First off, promoting a 'noninterventionist foreign policy' is still found right there near the top of the current mission statement of Campaign for Liberty. And the current #1 featured article is "Costs and Consequences of Action Against Iran," right there on the front of the homepage.

Does this mean that I'm attacking Tom Woods? No, of course not. I think everyone should sign up for his Liberty Classroom project, right now! But Aren't we talking about apples and oranges here? Dr. Woods is a historian and brilliant economist and lecturer--he isn't a political animal per se. We would all be creeped out if we received an email from Tom Woods written like a sales pitch from Campaign for Liberty--you know, with that old fashioned type font and a survey designed to guilt you into giving money. But, let me tell you, Campaign for Liberty uses these techniques for a reason. They work. Sure, they need to modernize and learn how to avoid sending the younger folks this antiquated pitch, but the people who donate tend to be older and marketing research indicates that it works.

Now, why am I defending Campaign for Liberty? I'm not sure! I've got my own project and website, www.iroots.org . I'd rather you donate to my project in Tampa! http://iroots.org/donate/

In fact, come to think of it, all of those other sites are sell outs--forget about 'em! I'm the only true defender of LIBERTY!!!

Just joking;)

With our Founding Fathers, we also believe in a noninterventionist foreign policy. Inspired by the old Robert Taft wing of the Republican Party, we are convinced that the American people cannot remain free and prosperous with 700 military bases around the world, troops in 130 countries, and a steady diet of war propaganda. Our military overstretch is undermining our national defense and bankrupting our country.

I am with you there

Tom Woods speaks the truth and you can tell he is genuine and has no personal agenda save for the cause of liberty. unlike others he has not yet done anything to make me doubt his sincerity.

Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for the heads up. Wasn't aware of all that.

LIVE WITH JEREMY RICHTER AT 7 PM EST TONIGHT!!!

Jeremy Richter writer/director of "Elektable" will be on RPT TV at 7 PM EST. Here is the direct link: http://show.ronpaultribune.com. Interviewed by Tracy Diaz and possible special guests. Enjoy the show!!!

Sorry.

Thumbs down. This was boring. I had to force myself to watch the whole thing.

The wife and the girl with the iPad were good actors. Camera and tech stuff was good. Sets were confusing because the couple had retro electronics. The "news reporters" were not believable- too smiley without any normal backgrounds.

The bikini girl was inappropriate and overused.

The effort is appreciated, but a real reviewer judges the actual product- not the persons who made the product.

Liberty is sexy

The bikini girl was inappropriate and overused.

The bikini girl is [Lady] Liberty and Liberty is sexy.

Overused? Only used in proportion to how often Ron Paul evokes liberty on issues. Liberty is sexy and Ron Paul talks about liberty a lot.

I agree with this. I think it

I agree with this. I think it started out rather good. It gets you curious enough to see where its going, but after hes done flipping channels, it kinda kills the curiosity. Its nice to have effort, but the major skill needed for this type of thing is the ability to grab someone's attention and keep it.
The average person probably wont have the attention span to watch the entire thing.

This reminds me of a quote: Remember that half the people you meet are below average.
I am under the opinion that the liberty movement is made up of a much higher number (than average) of the above average people.(wow thats an awkward sentence)
Hmm, maybe when making videos, everyone should try and think of what the average person would think and tailor it to that.

To climb the mountain, you must believe you can.
