OutStanding!
This happens almost everyday. I have been an individual loaded with facts and links confronting everyone from Senators to Local Fire Department, Police, City Council... everyone I can get in contact with face-to-face and ask these tuff questions. Explaining Factional Banking anything that catches their intrest....
I generally don't video tape it because I want to return with more questions. But in a public form like this - absolutely video it.
No Matter what any one else is doing - LIberty stands up. Defends it's ground. Your eyes are open. This is easy to do. STAND UP - SPEAK - ASK QUESTIONS!
A human is so self centered - they will have forgot about what you have done in mear minites - so NEVER BE EMBARRASSED. This senator was way more embarrassed.

It's not time to be nice
those darn kids and their pesky internet. Being disrespectful is the least thing we can do to them. You know what would happen if this happened when the founders were around..
a nod's as good as a wink to a blind bat
One thing
If you are representing general liberty, you should go in hard core against their lies like this. BUT, if you are representing a liberty candidate (RP), then you should remain calm and collective at all times to help represent a good image, and persuade the others..

I think this is what Ron Paul was refering to ...
... "be respectful". This guy is not respectful. Lankford listened to him, but it continually and persistently interrupted Lankford. Now Lankford may be a jerk, but that doesn't mean that this guy should not allow him to finish a sentence or that this guy has some right to talk over him. This is a a public meeting, and common courtesy demands that you hear the guy out, even if you hate his gluteous maximae.
Incidentally if you hear the guy out, you might even be able to muster a better argument.
The corker is that without having scored a point, this guy declares Lankford an "enemy of the people". He may well be, but this guy does not prove it. All he proved here is that he is rude. This will win NOTHING. This is how we throw it all away.
I don't have to like someone to carry myself with dignity.
Wrong
He did hear him out. And he did "prove it" by pointing out Lankford's three enemy-like votes. When Lankford starts lying and dodging and insinuating that the questioner did not do his homework, that's grounds to pick it up a notch. He wrapped it in a neat little bow with the enemy comment.
This is EXACTLY how it should be done.
He did great until he declared the congressman was an enemy
He was winning until he did that... he did fantastic, and it's a shame, and a warning, to all of us, what happened in the end.
I don't think we're seeing the end of this story.
The congressman was felt threatened, acted threatened, and when the patriot declared the congressman an enemy of the state... he went too far.
They don't want to hear the TRUTH. Wee do. Wee did. That's good enough. That buys us time. Instead, we've just lost a patriot.

I totally disagree.
Most of the people in that room probably weren't hearing the details. Calling him an enemy summarized it in simple terms and probably gave them a little wake-up call to be on the look out for cons.
Also, it's the slight little breaches of etiquette like this that often usher in a more honest exchange that wouldn't be possible with everyone worrying so much about being "proper." The bad guys are hoping we worry too much about appearing "uncivilized" and therefore keep our mouths shut. It's easier for them to hide that way. This was the perfect balance of tact and aggression.
People are not dumb
Ron Paul has tact, and that is the hardest thing of all to learn from him. I think it's a gift.
There are more ways than one to skin a cat, and it doesn't matter of everyone in the room "got it", as many are called few are chosen, and those who are chosen will hear, as we did, even between the lines.
Aggression really has no place in our political fight, and Ron Paul has shown us that. We have all been upset that he didn't resist when we thought he should. But he is safe and sound, which is what we need to be if we plan to continue to have another day to spread the message of Liberty with LOVE. I really liked the term rEVOLution because it emphasized the LOVE we need to share. "Liberty movement" to me, is just another hi-jacking for disinformation.
The tragic shame is that this young brilliant and formidable patriot will not have another chance. His political career has ended because he made a threat. I'm VERY sorry.

If they lie
they disrespect us. We must always call out their lies, and there is no respecful way to do that. They are our enemies, and being nice isn't going to work..
IF he answered honestly and said he believes that it made us safer, or some other BS then keeping it respectful is fine..
a nod's as good as a wink to a blind bat
Was the young man forcibly removed? This young guy
should run for the office himself.

you are an enemy of the united states

"The two weakest arguments for any issue on the House floor are moral and constitutional"
Ron Paul
Interesting listening to the congressman
ask that the guy not disrespect the others in attendance as he himself is guilty of the ultimate disrespect by not being honest with them. Lies become 'truth' whenever needed by those who pervert the constitution.
This "dude" disrespected Lankford way before ...
... Lankford said this.
The "dude" wouldn't quit it. He needs to let the other guy have his say, even if the other guy is a lying sackapoop. This is what they often do to us. I don't respect it either direction, and especially because when we do it, we DO NOT CONVERT anyone. That is our job here.
Learn from Ron Paul. He has done it both ways and he knows what works.
Always disrespect
and call out blatant lies. If he said the reason why he voted for it was because A, B, C.. And didn't refute what the bill did, then you can just keep the conversation going...

James Lankford Oklahoma House
James Lankford Oklahoma House Rep. District 5
JBS.org ranks his voting record for the 112th congress as 73% pro-constitutional. Based on an analysis of bill sponsorship by GovTrack, Lankford is a "rank-and-file Republican"
He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on June 26, 2012. Next election November 6, 2012
There is no Republican liberty candidate to oppose him.
I would suggest voting for Robert T. Murphy, libertarian candidate, if you live in OK dist. 5 on November 6th

two thumbs way up!
Get this guy paid. Maybe a job at "we are change." He rocks!
nice. if only every american did this.

Thanks for sharing this...
This kid was great at just sticking to the facts and holding this guys feet to the fire! That takes courage and I give him a lot of credit! Now just imagine if this started to happen to these congress critters every time they dared to show their faces in public...do you think that maybe they would start to think just a little bit harder about the votes that they cast?
Teehee..
Congress critters! That's funny, made me giggle. Yep, I agree, but we also need to stay calm and stay away from calling them an 'enemy of the state', as that is when he came off a little Timothy Mcveigh-ish. He should run for office, other than that, with a little more control, he is exactly what we need more of.
