Personally, I would prefer some daily Paul over some daily Johnson, any day of the week.
Let's be real: Gary Johnson has WAY less of chance than Ron Paul did LAST election (maybe even his first run) so stop even reading about it. If you see Gary Johnsons name again, just skip it until next election.
Or better yet, go post about it on the Daily Johnson, nobody here is interested...

I see no problem talking about other candidates. I have learned about many great candidates (local, state, and national) all over the USA by reading the Daily Paul. Lets not limit ourselves.
If you don't like something don't read it or make your own case against it but it's never a good thing to limit information.

Why the hate?
Sorry but that is not going to happen. I am not a Johnson supporter but I am fine with people posting any type of information on any of the candidates here whether it be negative or positive. Many people would not have learned about the good Doctor if they had taken advice similar to this and not posted about Ron Paul on sites not dedicated to him. Don't go Romney on us and try to limit what information can be shared please.
Here's how Johnson could have won my admiration:
He could have come out and endorsed Ron Paul early in the campaign. This could have brought leverage to Paul among Republicans and given the Libertarians a real chance of getting a President that could agree with most of their philosophy.
Can anyone explain why this didn't happen?

but decided that Paul wasn't going to win the nomination, so he would go to third party so Paul voters would have an option in November?
I'm not so sure that is what he was thinking. According to this article he wanted Paul as the Republican nominee, but still wanted people to vote for himself in the November election. Makes no sense to me.

it seems they are getting jealous and nervous at anyone taking a stab at their man, romney. they are secretly pleased ron paul never took a stab at romney and infact helped in many ways, as you can see in debates where he pivoted away from heated moments for romney, even saying a 30 year bus rec of romney is better than a 30 year record in government (like he and newt), etc....

The US government is a DUOPOLY and only Obama or Romney will win.
Both men have the same agenda with very few differences when it comes to the campaigns. Issues that are not covered are where third parties come in to give voters a "choice" that is not a choice because third party and Indy will not win.
What is the difference is the PARTY in power, as they may seem the same, on local levels they are not. Ron Paul invited us to join GOP central committees, and those of us who did are freshmen. You now have for the first time in your life, Ron Paul Republicans locally seated. This is who should should be concerned about for they now can put our issues on YOUR ballot.
I learned that no one on my central committee likes Romney. We are all equals in that none of us like Romney, but we also know it's not about Romney, it about having power.
Ron Paul Republicans with seats and Liberty candidates are newly conceived, and our mother party has many that would abort us, so an Obama win, or a GJ division is a blessing for them, not us.
Ron Paul Republicans have the most to lose this election, our seats and elections.
By focusing on Romney and Obama, you miss the picture of what party is in power, and frankly, I believe no one wants to end the duopoly more than the PTB so they can move us all into a NWO global government.
GJ is a red herring. Has you asked you to join the central committee? What is he doing to empower anyone with the guts to actually go for it? He's not. He's dividing us. He is giving those who did not have the brains, heart or guts to follow Ron Paul a choice, that is not a choice, but undermining Ron Paul Republicans.

and is giving visibility to libertarian ideals, and that is what scares you.
paul is already out of the race. he told his own followers that he does not hav enough delegates for the nomination, and he and rand have stated that they intend to get 'audit of the fed' on the gop platform at the convention, but not anytime before that for the public to know more about.
