I'm Farming and I Grow it!

Awesome parody video of LMFAO's "I'm Sexy and I Know it" song. These guys are great and spreading the word on the importance of agriculture in our society in a humorous way.

Farmer hotties

Monsanto seeds? Homone

Monsanto seeds? Growth hormone injected cows? Thank you dear farmers!

Giggling...I thought this too...

Cute video...but for large farms like this, all I can think of is Monsanto's GMO.

I wish

I had a farm, That is what I would do if I won the lotto.

Rap music causes crops to die

I bet they had to fertilize and irrigate to recover...

They will get a pass because they are still kids imo.

nicely done

thank you

If we deny truth before your very eyes, then the rest of what we have to say,is of little consequence

Farming has become a science

And farmers and agriculture companies are attacked nonstop, instead of being applauded. I always try to stop by my local farmers stands here in Ohio. But im also not paronoid about "GMO" like some people...

If you are buying veggies from your local farm stands

they are most likly not GMO
The top 4 GMO crops are Soy, Corn, Canola and Cottonseed - most blended oils in North America contain canola and cottonseed. Replacing these with 100% extra virgin olive oil is a safe alternative.

While it's ok not to be parnoid it is important to be aware of GMO's and their dangers. Not to mention Monsanto (the main GMO producer) really is trying to monoplize agriculture. I would say next to the FED they are the greatest threat to securing a safe food supply. If Monsanto gets it's way there will be no more small local farmers for you to buy from. This is NOT being paroniod, please research it. Start by watching:

This video is a perfect example of why I love the DP

You just don't see videos like this anywhere.

Musically terrific, great video. Gosh I wish

the farm shots had been of an organic, sustainably diverse farm instead of this factory farm that likely get subsidized for its corn/wheat and GMO-fed cattle all producing lots of poor quality food.

Are you being sarcastic?

I don't think so

see my post above, GMO's are no joke!

Great video! Nice-looking guys too...

definitely not your typical NY metrosexual!

These guys are from Kansas...

and I am from New York. 25% of my state is farmland. We also have a vibrant farm-to-table restaurant scene, as well as farmer's markets and Whole Foods carrying local goods. I also don't know any metrosexuals, but in a city of tens of millions of people, you get all kinds.

With liberty and justice for all...who can afford it.

I know, I am from NY! And shop at the farmers' markets

and Whole Foods! Just saying you don't see many of these handsome farmer guys in NY...unfortunately.

I was one of those guys 10 years ago.

Too bad you can't make a living farming without inheriting the land and equipment. I did put myself through college throwing hay in the summers (the guy hossing the hay bale could use some lessons from a missouri boy) threw over a quarter million by the time I was 22. Makes you remember to study when you are at college..... Another 15 or 20 years of working as an engineer and I may be able to afford enough land that my 3 sons; 2, 11 months, and due at Christmas can afford to farm. At any rate I plan to afford enough land to at least retire as a hobby farmer.

Then maybe I have to take up farming

wink wink.

Crap...my wife just saw that. Tell her we're just "friends"!

Hello Mrs. Amitj78. We're just friends...

who support Ron Paul!

LOL...thanks for the quick reply

She put the salad tongs and the blowtorch away and untied me. That was a close call.

We all should be farming

Even a city lot can be very productive. If everyone had a small garden, I wonder how much food could be produced with 330 million people gardening?

a quarter acre

can support the food needs of a family of 4 if gardened very intensely. More can be acheived if using simple unheated greenhouse technology to lengthen your growing season. In northern Illinois I grow about 9 months of the year, and produce enough food from my 600square foot hoop house, fruit trees, and various othe raised beds to provide most of the vegetable needs for my family. I have less than 1/20th of an acre under cultivation, but am looking at a couple vacant lots nearby at the tax sale ina few weeks. If I get the lots I am planning on a much larger garden, and more fruit trees (on the steeper slopes) also some honeybees, and maybe a small flock of chickens as well.
