Yes,

just tell them to take it to the Daily Johnson.

Gary Johnson?

Played for the San Diego Chargers and went to Grambling.

See what I mean.

donvino

It's about time! I was wondering if they had a GJ blog.

I'm sick of seeing him here on this site. I was going to vote for him if Ron Paul did not get the GOP nomination, but his "supporters" have really done him a diservice by all the crap they are posting on this site. It is starting to make him unlikeable and it is not even his fault.

LOL!!!

If only I had a dollar for everytime an establishment Republican made the exact same claim about Ron Paul supporters!

Ditto

He lost my potential vote because of the GJ supporters acting like vultures on this site. Now, if Dr. Paul should not get the GOP nomination, I will write him in.

I would have supported Johnson in 2016, if he had gone full steam ahead for Ron Paul in 2012. He didn't and I won't vote for him.

Johnson Envy?

Talking positively about Gary Johnson on the DP is getting to be like talking positively about Ron Paul on Redstate.

Coming to Dailypaul as a

Coming to Dailypaul as a Johnson supporter, and trying to insult and provoke the Dailypaul community to anger isn't helping Johnson's cause. Every snide remark about the community or Paul himself loses votes for Johnson. Comparing DP to Redstate just makes people angry. A little more tact from the Johnson crowd, and he'd garner a huge percentage of the Dailypaul community's votes in November, but that opportunity is pretty much lost at this point. Since the beginning of the process Johnson supporters have been coming here, telling us we HAVE TO support Johnson, and calling us names when we don't agree with them. This is just one website, but a lot of people come here and most of them are pretty sick of Johnson after all the crap from his supporters.

How long have you been here at the DP?

Not as long as me. :) I was kicked off Redstate for defending Ron Paul. Now it seems that defending Gary Johnson makes me unwelcome by some around here. If the DP doesn't want to be compared to Redstate, then the DP should not act like Redstate.

It's not the defense of

It's not the defense of Johnson that's provocative, it's the attacks on Paul supporters that really piss people off. DP is not a person. It doesn't act like anything. It's a bunch of individuals who share their opinions. Collectivizing everybody as a single entity, and blanket labeling us all with negative connotations is both unfair, and fails to correct the problem of perception about how snide and rude Johnson supporters have been to us. Collectivizing everybody at Redstate won't piss anyone off here, but it's also unfair to think of that community as a single entity, because it's not. I was planning to support Johnson along with most other DPers, but at this point it's getting so it doesn't look like he has much support, and I don't know if it's worth putting in any effort. To answer your irrelevant question, I've been reading Dailypaul since the summer of '07, shortly after I discovered 911truth, Austrian economics and Ron Paul. I signed up to join the discussion after I had learned a bit about economics. At first I just read the articles and comments to educate myself (this site used to be full of intelligent, tactful people). Anyway, I hope Johnson supporters learn a little tact so they can change the perception of Ron Paul supporters towards the Johnson Campaign before November, but it doesn't look like they're learning this lesson. Paul supporters have done similar things to Romney and Santorum supporters all over the internet, and that's probably why some of those people won't even consider looking at Ron Paul.

How is the following statement an attack on Paul Supporters?

"Talking positively about Gary Johnson on the DP is getting to be like talking positively about Ron Paul on Redstate."

I witnessed Redstate ban all mention of Ron Paul. Now I see so-called Ron Paul supporters wanting to ban all mention of Gary Johnson here on the DP. Forgive me for not seeing a difference.

You're comparing a site where

You're comparing a site where we just complain about people, and saying we're the same as a site that bans people outright. I find that fairly offensive generalizing us a collective. I've never called for any bans on anything, yet because of your phrasing I stand accused. If members are calling for banning, it's because they're sick of hearing about him. Johnson supporters should take a hint and wait till after the convention when we might actually be looking at other candidates. Right now, most of the members are still focused on Paul, and Johnson stuff gets annoying. The mods here haven't banned Gary Johnson supporters who haven't violated the rules, and if they ever started I think most of the people here would complain, because that would make us just like Redstate. The people who call for banning of any speech that isn't abusive clearly misunderstand the core meaning of liberty. They need to be educated, and calling them Redstaters isn't going to make the point you want to make. It makes some of the people who read this board and don't actually want to ban anything think "We're not like Redstate, is this another Johnson troll calling DPers names?" The best thing Johnson supporters can do is wait. Everybody here knows who he is, and most of the people who don't want to support him have policy disagreements, because he's not a philosophical libertarian. Pestering them to get behind him isn't working. It's having the opposite effect.

Ron Paul is not going to be

Ron Paul is not going to be nominated in Tampa, he's already said this himself. Anyone who pays attention to delegate numbers knows that we have NO chance at the nomination unless all the handpicked establishment delegates suddenly decide that Ron Paul is the right candidate. Anyone who think that is going to happen is living in a dream. I'm voting for Gary Johnson because he is the liberty candidate that will be on the ballot on all 50 states. I will not vote for Obama or Romney.

You really think Gary Johnson can win?

In my county the Libertarians gave him 21 votes, write in candidates, "Ron Paul" got 20, Lee Write got 4 votes, Roger Gary 1, James Ogle 3, Scott Keller 4, RJ Harris 1, Carl Person 1, Barbara Joy Waymore 10.

GOP Ron Paul got 754.

Really think GJ is going to beat Obama?

American people will wake up

Gary Johnson will win in a historic landlside!

No, I don't.

No thank you. This is a

No thank you. This is a liberty site, not just a Ron Paul site. If Ron Paul isn't going to win the nomination, I'm not going to write in Ron Paul, most states don't even count write-ins. There is no good reason why a libertarian would not vote for Gary Johnson.

What good does it to post on this site when he has his own?

You will be able to see how strong his support really is if you concentrate on the Johnson site. It is a losing situation to keep posting over here. If you are really serious about him getting votes, you should post on the Gary Johnson sites.

It's about time.

Thank you for the link. Hopefully GJ supporters will use it for posting their opinions.
