Watch: Ron Paul Featured in New Documentary 'Farmageddon' About Government Attacks On Small Family Farms

This is a troubling documentary about the governments war on small family family farms. Joel Salitan (Poly Face Farms), featured in this & many other documentaries about food freedom, spoke at a University near me about 2 years ago. After he spoke to a packed crowd about government invasion on small family farms, someone from the crowd asked him "is there anyone in Washington DC who understands what is going on, & who will take a stand?"..to which, without missing a beat. Joel Salitan quickly replied "Ron Paul, he is the only one who "gets it". Many in the crowd cheered. Watch the documentary 'Farmageddon' below & spread it to friends & family. Ron Paul is the only politician featured in it.

When I try to watch it,

I am greeted with the following message:

"This video is not available in your country."

I'm in the United States. No surprise there, I suppose.

Another embed try

Because you know youtube will delete the account of anyone sharing this… I found it on another account, enjoy, download, and share.

So what's the root problem

and what could a social media aware, active group do to enlighten those it would take to fix it?

When I ask of the root problem, I mean the most base root of the problem. If you can say 'oh, that's because of this...', then you haven't drilled down deep enough.

The FDA isn't interested

The preparation toward a one world government is ongoing and they want to control everything we do. The reason the raw milk and other personally processed dairy products is being closed down is because the products are healthy. If the products were not healthy you would never see the criminals with guns drown against innocent folks who have no weapons of their own.

I personally would love to have raw milk and there is no chance I would ever tell the FDA. It makes no difference to me what they do I would still drink raw milk if I could get my hands on some.

I have not had any milk to drink in a very long time because pasteurized/Homogenized milk is very unhealthy.

In the 20th century the Military Industrial Complex became a fine tuned machine. Under normal conditions any revolution will play into their crooked hands. There is only one way to win the war against those perverts. Jesus spelled it out for us. If we follow His instructions we cannot be controlled.

Sadder but wiser!

America is losing 88% of our local dairy farms! Heartbreaking! Warrant less siege and searches on these family farms, terrorizing the owners and their children. What trauma these children have undergone! I thought this was the land of milk and honey? The farmer who explained how farming should be sensually romantic farming is correct! The sweet smell of success when operating a small farm. Farming is beautiful! Amongst all this madness there is only one candidate a rational person could support, Ron Paul! As he mentioned, we must show our outrage to Congress!

Exactly the kind of thing to focus on in between terms

This is the home fight. The revolving door between corporations and government agencies is UBIQUITOUS, they are ALL LIKE THAT NOW. The more rules they create, the more control the more power, money, guns.

Breaking this threat not only involves repealing bad legislation, it has to do with the REMOVAL of this power at it's source. The FDA and department of "education" should be top of our list of agencies to go. Right up there with the Fed.

There is nothing strange about having a bar of soap in your right pocket, it's just what's happening.

Clearly there are a few Sheriffs in this country who haven't

gotten the memo: Oath to Office. They keep scoring for the opposition and need to be booted out of office. Yesterday!

BTW, where are ANY Representatives? State and Federal. Surely they've been approached...maybe in Part II, I hope.

NYT: Has ‘Organic’ Been Oversized? July 7,2012

“The board is stacked,” Mr. Potter says. “Either they don’t have a clue, or their interest in making money is more important than their interest in maintaining the integrity of organics.”
~
He calls the certified-organic label a fraud and refuses to put it on Eden’s products.

--Michael J. Potter

Michael J. Potter is one of the last little big men left in organic food.

More than 40 years ago, Mr. Potter bought into a hippie cafe and “whole earth” grocery here that has since morphed into a major organic foods producer and wholesaler, Eden Foods.

But one morning last May, he hopped on his motorcycle and took off across the Plains to challenge what organic food — or as he might have it, so-called organic food — has become since his tie-dye days in the Haight district of San Francisco.

The fact is, organic food has become a wildly lucrative business for Big Food and a premium-price-means-premium-profit section of the grocery store. The industry’s image — contented cows grazing on the green hills of family-owned farms — is mostly pure fantasy. Or rather, pure marketing. Big Food, it turns out, has spawned what might be called Big Organic.

We go to Vashon Island, WA to buy from the farm stands

The problem these organic farmers are having, is that the pollen from GMOs are being found on their crops.

I also see milk labeled as "raw" in our local organic non-GMO grocery store. I don't buy dairy very often, so I don't know that much about it.

This is all in Washington state. I thought I heard that raw milk was not allowed here, but I saw it in the grocery store.

Update: It seems like Washington state will allow raw milk that is tested.

Do they have copies available

Do they have copies available for sale yet? I've been wanting to see this for quite some time. I live in an almost all farmer county. When I checked into doing a showing here they wanted more that I could afford.

Thank you for posting this...

Yes they do have copies for sale at the Farmageddon website

you may find them cheaper elsewhere. I got mine at the Weston A. Price booth at the Mother Earth News Fair. Weston Price Foundation is at the helm of fighting for food freedom & the availability of bio-dynamic foods (which is a fancy word for, food before big agra-farms & pesticides)

Thanks for the Farmageddon/Weston Price info

Perhaps you were using "biodynamics" broadly, but just to clarify, biodynamic farming and gardening is a distinctive, holistic method of organic agriculture. I took the course a few years ago - a wonderful experience. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biodynamic_agriculture

P.S. Re the honeybee crisis, bees raised in a biodynamic environment are doing very nicely! http://www.spikenardfarm.org/gallery.html

I watched this video in it's

I watched this video in it's entirety tonight. The one main thing that struck me was that the law enforcement officials who raid, confiscate and intimidate do so with the belief that they are the good guys. Why is it that the law enforcement agents who carry out these atrocities cannot see for themselves that what they are doing is wrong? The answer is simple. They are are following orders. They are doing their job. They are protecting themselves, after all they need that paycheck. Psychologically they must have, at some point, fooled themselves into believing that they are not bad humans, even though at times their job requires them to carry out inhumane orders.

Have you ever heard of the Milgram Experiments in the 50's? Milgram was a Yale professor who carried out a series of experiments on "Obedience to Authority". I found an interesting article on the subject over at mises.org. You might be interested in checking it out.

TY so much for posting this! Sorry, this subject hits way too close to home for me to comment rationally. No other subject tears me apart like agriculture and what's been done to it.

I'm sorry, but the day the agrarians blinked, the country died.

RP influence in food freedom

Dear Congressman Paul,

If you don't become The People's president, would you continue your public influence in food freedom, please? This issue is almost as important as ending the Fed and is as important as Internet government-corporation control issues such as Net Neutrality. Thank you, congressman.
