Ron Paul stresses RNC rally importance

In an official campaign update Friday, Ron Paul stressed the importance that all his supporters do what they can to make it to Tampa in August for the pre-RNC rally and Republican National Convention.

All the years of hard work have come down to this. After 12 full terms in Congress, a third attempt at the highest office in the land, decades of vying for a chance to have a platform on a national political stage and a virtual lifetime of trying to get a specific message to the people of America is all coming down to one single weekend in late August.

I would not trust tipping your hand to the national campaign. Do not tell them. They will have a list of all Ron Paul delegates and they will use it for what? I shudder to think the OPSEC damage possible.

Delegates. You organize yourselves. You know who you are. Take the floor. Take the Platform. Take the nomination for Ron Paul. Work Smart. You are the fight. We are counting on you. And if Ron Paul turns down the nomination, because we were not nice enough, then Nominate Tom Woods or Chuck Baldwin.

What will it accomplish? The Minneapolis was an event to remember. I went. It was not publicized. It kick started the C4L. I witnessed traitors in the leadership, and was shocked. After coming home it did not get any better, at the national level of the campaign.

Why should we come to hear a speech we have heard a thousand times? Preaching to the choir, it will be.

Now if Ron said come and we will do this or that to privately plan the next four years or to march with the veterans or show his support for all of our hard work at the Paul Festival or organize a floor nomination or some other talk of surprising strategy to command the platform, to elect a new RNC leadership, etc.

But nothing.

Rah rah rah. We expected a participatory voting involvement in the C4L, but what we got was a dictatorship, appointing non-Ron Paul volunteers as leaders.

We volunteers made Ron Paul. He needs to acknowledge us.

He can start by making an appearance at the other events that weekend. If he won't go to the Paul Festival, or the Veterans rally, then why should we show up at his little.

I'm not sorry. Ron is great on the issues, but he is terrible at discernment, and picking people. Just like Reagan was. Too nice and maybe too gullible.

Why did he stop his speeches? Too many questions answered with, "Be Nice and respectful or don't want to disrupt the party", paraphrased of course.

Going to Tampa costs $100s if not thousands each person. Something more than his little letter is needed I think.

I think your analysis of his few weaknesses are spot on, namely he is too trusting, and because of this "virtue" he's not able to discern a wolf in sheep's clothing, like Jesse Benton, whom I've noticed has completely and utterly dropped out of public view!

Jesse has performed his dutiful "Judas" role as a campaign saboteur, appointed by the NWO crowd. The Establishment is brilliant. If I wanted to neuter RP's campaign, I would have done it exactly as they did it, knowing I couldn't get RP himself to compromise, I'd just surround him with a couple key agents (Benton and Trigve), and give my orders to them, knowing that RP is so non confrontational that he couldn't upset his granddaughter by firing her husband ignominiously.

Rand allowed the same thing to happen by "firing" David Adams and appointing Benedict Arnold Benton is his stead. And then Benton takes the credit and then naturally gets appointed chair of RP's national campaign.

Disgusting.

My wife doesn't want me to go. Contemplating getting on her bad side and going anyway because I am worried that Paul is not getting the RSVP he expectedto date!

I just booked my flights from Brooklyn NY and rsvpd for admission. I even got my girlfriend to come with me! I agree with c2c, don't pass this up.

I debated for over a month as to whether or not to go to the Rally for the Republic in Minneapolis in 2008. Could I afford it? Would it be worth the effort? Would anyone else be going? ....and on and on. I bought my ticket ahead of time thinking, "well, if I don't go, at least I've contributed to the cause."
And then 5 days before the event, I realized......
"What am I thinking? I HAVE TO GO!!!" I took whatever hotel reservation I could find, and drove all by myself from Colorado to Minneapolis.
(58 yr. old woman at the time)

And I have NEVER regretted it.

I captured on video, Ron Paul stating, "No enemy and no army can stop an idea who's time has come." I will keep it until the end of my life.

Don't you realize we are living through history right now?
If you can do it....GO! Make up with your wife later. ;)
