Does anyone know if we have 51% of

the state delegates in Nebraska?

On their best day

On their BEST day, the GOP establishment will NEVER out think this young man.

Pour some money into Nebraska

If winning Nebraska is crucial for Ron Paul getting on the ballot at the national convention, then I hope the Ron Paul campaign is taking Nebraska seriously by actively campaigning there - which could include a personal visit by Ron Paul to Nebraska so he can give a speech, or a video message to all the local delegates telling them why they should vote for him (Ron Paul), and giving money to the local Ron Paul campaign so they can buy campaign materials, advertising (like postcards or letters) and to cover administrative expenses.

The Paul campaign

Has gone silent.
Liberty stews in Pauls absence.

Ron Paul knows what hes doing, dont be like the establishment and underestimate him.
Believe me~ The est. has ALWAYS underestimated him, and now they realize it.
Have faith!

Dr. Paul need not do anything, except keep his hands clean and show up in Tampa.
His message and supporters will do the work.
He would have it no other way.

Rand Paul 2016

Underestimate campaign always.

silence has gone on for a long time and it has happened numerous times in the past, especially during critical moments.

leadership is speaking to supporters fully at all approp times.

the campaign won't allow paul to speak - and that is whom you need to be concerned with. instead, such undermining of paul by his hideous staff is something too many rp supporters applaud.

That is not my experience

I just got an email yesterday thanking me for my work, providing information about what's coming up, and about the CAfreedom PAC, I have a conference call comming up soon. I can call if I need to at anytime and get help if I need it.

They way it appears to me, is if you did things correctly (joined the GOP and have or working to get a seat on a central committee, the RP campaign is THERE FOR YOU. I also got an invitation to a district BBQ recently.

We have been given our missions, which is to fill committee seats with Ron Paul Republicans.

CA does not have delegate issues like other states, and while there are, or have been inconvienance, bad attitudes, shunning, things on our committees by established members, or maybe ballot access problems that heppened in other counties, none of the ones I lead, I have checked and re-checked, they would be considered frivolous.

The Ron Paul campaign is not promoting Ron Paul here because our general election is over, but promoting the occupation of the GOP, because all of us who are on central committees, have a lack of seats filled and KNOW, we could take this party if people would join us by simply showing up.

Dr. Paul's Nevada delegates

I thought Dr. Paul had a majority of the delegates from Nevada? Didn't he win 22 out of 28, with Romney getting 6. Am I missing something here? So he already has 5 states.

Truth Be Known

He probably really won ALL the states!

told us we had 5 states already, now they retracted that and maddow and others are pinning all hopes on Nebraska, including Doug Wead. Makes no sense why we should be fawning over this lie twisted within some truth. We already have 5 states, and we should be on the ballot in Tampa. BUT, BUT, if we all buy into this nonsense then a Nebraska loss would be demoralizing of course, by design.

Now is the not the time..

for negative nancys, but for positive Paulites! :)

Keep your noses clean and your hearts open. This is OUR R3volution. Stop with all the condescending comments and hopeless posts, it's not helping anyone! WE have to maintain - otherwise THEY win. Ron Paul did this by himself for years..he did not faulter, he did not bend, he maintained his course. So can we.

And if you ever get down or feel like hope is gone, then do what I do - watch an old Ron Paul video! I swear, everytime I watch a debate or simple speech from the good Doctor, I am instantly re-energized to fight the good fight.

We got this my friends. Keep spreading the message, changing the hearts of the corrupt, and remain the light for future generations. It's all about the love!

There's a big difference

between negative nancy's and an unfortunate little thing called "reality", and "factual logic."

I'm not exactly happy about it either, but if the delegates vote Romney on the first round, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that Romney is then the nominee.

Pretending that Romney will not be the nominee if our delegates actually do as this fellow says, and vote Romney on the first round, isn't going to change the fact that it, obviously, would make Romney the nominee...

Add to that - that we still 'technically' may not have a 5 state plurality necessary to be nominated, because of the GOP fraud and shenanigans in ousting our fairly elected delegates in a few states that would have easily given us those 5.

So basically, unless we somehow miraculously get a ruling out of this lawsuit thing in our favor, or successfully take Nebraska, it makes things look even more grim.

This wasn't in relation to

This wasn't in relation to any of your posts. It was more aimed at the "traitor" comments or the "give up" comments I have been seeing on the DP and other various Ron Paul websites. I just don't want people giving up to easily or too soon. That's all.

bigmikedude's picture

I don't want to see people give up either,

but if these delegates give up, go with the flow, and vote Romney, then I have to ask them "What was the point in becoming a delegate then?"

It just seems like a silly strategy to me, - Become a Paul delegate to vote Romney.

but if Rule 38 applys...then

but if Rule 38 applys...then what?

Somewhere I watched a video

Somewhere I watched a video where this question was asked, and in my opinion, answered. And it had to do with the convention where McCain was nominated. A delegate who was from a state that McCain had supposedly won, wanted to and did vote for Mitt Romney. A group of GOP lawyers was asked to decide if the delegate could (both legally and in accordance with GOP rules) vote for Mitt Romney. And they all said that the delegate was free to do that. So unless the rules have been changed since that time, it seems to me that the delegates are free to vote for Dr. Paul if that is what their conscience tells them.

And if Dr. Paul were to be nominated, I am quite certain that he could and would win in the general election. So if a State, such as Massachusetts (or any other), were to try and prosecute any or all of the delegates who voted for our good doctor. That would be perfectly okay since President Paul could and would give all of them a complete pardon :-) and on top of that, he should give all of them a medal for being good Americans.

I am one of those people who has said to hell with the republican party. But if this does work, and the party can successfully be changed back to a party that truly does serve and honor our Constitution, then I'm all for it, but as it currently stands, the GOP house needs an extremely good cleansing.

The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men and women to not support Ron Paul!

According to this..he already

According to this..he already has the 5 states...

If it applies,

(but that is still a very big if and not yet fully and clearly resolved to my knowledge)

Then it should turn the table, but it still seems it may not apply in a general 'blanket' sense, but only in a specific situation. Hard to tell, I've seen it argued both ways.

Harding, and Lincoln I believe were both elected via the delegates going against the popular vote. Our delegates need to stand ground and follow suit if we qualify for nomination.

If I am not mistaken, I believe I recall reading somewhere once upon a time, it is that very ability of the delegation to go against the popular vote, that makes us a republic, and not a democracy.

Thank you, Evan.

You presented a rational, reasoned and clear argument. You are a credit to us all and you have a bright future ahead of you.

Great job!

If all of the delegates plan on rolling over and voting their binding on the first round, then Romney has his 1144 and we are are pretty much done with this whole fight.

I now don't understand what all of the "there is still hope" hype is for, because if this is the case and the delegates do this, then Romney is indeed the nominee on the first round.

It's not that I enjoy saying this, but it seems to be quite 'the obvious' via logic.

Either way, I will never cast a vote for Romney or Obama.

a upside down elephant with right side up stars... :)

A true flower can not blossom without sunlight and a true man can not live without love.

That was precisely my thought.

I thought the whole point was that they are NOT bound!!

"It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a rEVOLution before tomorrow morning." - Henry Ford

Nebraska GOP will prevent Ron Paul delegates

Watch out for Nebraska governor Dave Heineman. He'll do everything to stop Ron Paul from getting Nebraska's delegates:

I was not that bright at age 18.

Wow, awesome but BE CAREFUL, DON'T TRUST HER

Rachel has done us some good and some harm in the past. The Moose said something that really resounded for me: Rachel, like RT America, will only use our truths to attack their primary enemies, and so they will never tell our whole story. Because if they defeat their primary enemy, we are next on their list.

Rachel hates conservatives. She hates ALL conservatives, neocon and trad con alike. She thinks us paultards are dangerous loons.

Her single motive is to promote the liberal establishment, therefore the empowered neocons are first on her list. We're second.

Be brave, be brave, the Myan pilot needs no aeroplane.

Don't say the truth or they might downrate you or WORST

call you a troll.

In less than a minute, someone down-rated your commonsensical statement.

Regardless of her motives...

...at least she is exposing some of the wimps in the GOP! So whimpy that they have to set everything up. Can't play a fair game! Appears to be the biggest mob there is. If it was honest and fair Paul would already be the nominee. Those guys are a joke.

I Love Evan Kenny!

The first video made me well up with tears because it is so thrilling to see the passion and LOVE in the rEVOLution, and to see some of our struggles, our good fight, with us standing tall and rallying for the Republic in the end.

The second video made me very proud. Evan Kenny is a remarkable man, who deserves support for his integrity, fortitude, thoughtfulness, demeanor, intelligence, respectfullness, and doing what Ron Paul asked ALL of us to do, correctly.

His case is not one of insults, dramtic claims, doubt, fear, hurt, anger, smoking DMT or cannabis, but he's showing us, that the Party is imploding by design by few within it, that are NOT honoring our Party's laws and codes. These are the people who need to have law suits against them in their states, to BEGIN with.

Evan is not saying, "this needs to go to go to a Federal Court and have Federal Marshalls hold the convention hostage to "protect" us."

He is standing on his own two feet, and making a valid case, while esteeming the GOP, and giving credit where credit is due. It is very impressive and powerful, and has made MY day.

I extend my appreciation to Rachel Maddow for a wonderful American political story of our good fight, Ron Paul rEVOLution, and introducing America to a Ron Paul Republican, Evan Kenny, that all of us can be very proud of.

With Ron Paul Republicans like Evan Kenny, WE WILL WIN!

From the bottom of my heart, Thanks to ALL (and you too Mr. Baker), God Bless America and YOU!

wow, since when did rachel

wow, since when did rachel maddow become a friend of the movement? definitely not complaining, but am surprised!

She's one of the few that I

She's one of the few that I think actually has supported him all along. Still unsure whether she's got some motive for being friendly(wouldn't be surprised if her career was threatened), but she's at least been respectful of the movement for a while now. Again, her 'handlers' aren't friendly, and may only be allowing her room because of ratings/contract.
