Parasites will ultimately feed off each other once there are no hosts to support them.

Cannibalism is the fate of parasites.

Theft is going to go through the roof imo.

Better to lay them off and start with a fresh batch.

Scranton is on the right track

The next move should be to cut the minimum wage to zero. And privatize everything.

Their logic is pure and flawless

once the public service workers have stripped Scranton of every resource they will move on from city to city and then from state to state eating everything in their path all the way to California.

Then they will fly back east and begin the process again.

I hate when government works

I hate when government workers thing they are entitle to subsidize tax payers money.

We need to do this in California.

Opportunity for Free Market Education

This wage reduction is the perfect opportunity for them to learn the free market. Any Penn folk here? If you're here, guys, drop off a list of books to those state employees to put them on the right path.

PDF Printouts or book files on CDs

Penn folk, if you can afford it, print out PDFs of some free market books. Mises.org offers downloadable goodies for free. Or copy the files onto a blank disc to hand to those government employees.

I liked the comment there

I liked the comment there that asked if the minimum wage applied to the mayor as well.

The article used in the

The article used in the second video indicated that the Mayor cut his salary to $7.25 an hour also.

minumum wage for the mayor would be fair

as long as the mayor is going to cut his >80k year salary to minimum wage, then that's cool. I think he is trying to avoid laying people off and getting them to quit instead. That way they can't collect unemployment and the city doesn't have to pay it. Funny thing is the people in charge never cut their own salaries. Instead they get pay raises or bonuses for getting rid of people.

If the city doesn't have the money then they need to do less! spend less! and that would lead to laying some people off.

Mayor too?

lol. I like that comment too.

Beyond this, it would be an opportune time to eliminate the minimum wage.
