on the first ballot, why are we asking a judge for permission and taking the chance that he might say "no" and override RNC rules?

Shouldn't this lawsuit be focused strictly on the fraud, intimidation, violence, rule-breaking, etc., instead of visiting a settled issue?

point of the suit is to insure they will be unbound and they will follow the Federal law. Nevada delegates have been threatened that they will unseat them. The point of the lawsuit is to stop the threats and unbind all delegates. Along with the berating, threats, etc.

There are still many delegates out there bound to Romney, Santorum and Gingrich who are genuinely unaware that they become unbound at the RNC. That's the reason for this whole lawsuit.

This is the first I'm hearing that the reason L4RP is playing Russian Roulette with delegate binding rules is to ensure that delegates bound to candidates other than Ron Paul are made aware that they are free to vote their consciences.

I'm sure there must be other ways of letting them know besides taking the chance that a federal judge will rule in favor of the defendants.

I'm not saying it IS. I apologize for the way I phrased my post. I did not mean to mislead anyone. I think the reason for the lawsuit is to make sure the RNC doesn't try to change the rules on us to try to force delegates to vote for Romney or any other person they're bound to, like Santorum or Gingrich.

Yes, Santorum and Gingirch dropped out but their delegates have not been released. They are still bound to them. So Romney has still not clinched the nomination contrary to what the media said when he won the Texas Primary in May. He does not have the 1,144 needed to win it.

some way. Email him and get on board and if something is wrong he will let you know. BUT, if your name was put in to be a delegate for RP, such as in California. OR if you attended your precinct meeting or caucus. If you were a county delegate or an alternate. It does not matter if you saw corruption or have a grievance, just so long as you agree with what we are trying to accomplish.
