NSA Chief Keith Alexander told Congress that the U.S. economy stands to lose $388 billion if it fails to prevent cyber attacks and piracy, and said his agency should be given additional powers to prevent this. But despite his promise to not abuse these newfound powers, should we really trust an agency with a history of engaging in warrantless wiretapping?
