God Wants Ron Paul to Be President – Nebraska Republican Delegates Should Obey God

“God wants Ron Paul to be President. Paul is the only Christian still running who beat Obama in polls, but will Christians and pastors obey God?” says Pastor Steven Andrew, president of USA Christian Ministries.

“We must obey God and vote for Christians. Noah Webster used Exodus 18:21 for American voting. John Jay said “select and prefer Christians for [our] leaders” (Mark 12:30, Psalm 1, Psalm 33:12).

“Comparing Ron Paul, Mitt Romney and Barack Obama, we see Paul will cut the deficit $1 trillion in year one, but Obama and Romney would increase the deficit. Americans will have more jobs with Paul,” says the pastor.

Even most people who go to

Even most people who go to church ever week don't like stupid crap like this. God does not treat us like his own personal game of The Sims.

As for "we should obey"..well..it is called free will. And if your religion doesn't believe in free will, then you have the wrong religion. Plain and simple.

I really think you've

I really think you've misunderstood the concept of liberty. Of course I could be wrong but you claimed that

"...if your religion doesn't believe in free will, then you have the wrong religion. Plain and simple."

Simple indeed. My religion is Christianity and my denomination Lutheran. I don't generally consider Christians of other denominations to be of another religion, but I guess based on a very loose understanding or application of the word "religion" I could judge Methodists to be a separate religion than my own. Since John Wesley was quite Arminian in his thinking and preaching, should Christians (Lutherans and Calvinists of many kinds) who are not adherents to the belief in the absolute freedom of the will find another denomination or religion just so that they can participate in and further the Liberty Movement?

troll.. :)

Trollin', trollin', trollin'..

God chooses the wicked to rule over the wicked.

Most churches today serve themselves and / or the pastor's wife (and of course her social circle); not God.

I've Prayed for fairness

I've prayed for fairness in this election process and this is what we got. You wanna tell your Pastor friend or someone who has God's ear to listen to me. I still have faith, but I feel I'm being ignored.

If "god" wants Ron Paul to win and "is in control"

tell "god" to get up off his ass and elect him!

participate, and do whatever you can do to help the cause.

I don't think Romney's Nebraska delegates

care who Pastor Stephen Andrew thinks God wants to be president. I'm sure there are quite a few Mormon bruthuhs out there who believe it's God's will that Bishop Mitt become president. What makes some people think God cares about politics?

With all due respect to the good pastor, If God wants something it just happens. The most dangerous aspect of faith is when we declare God somehow requires our assistance with his will. Allow your guiding voice to move you not the other way around. Peace to all.

There are dozens and dozens...

...of reasons to vote for Ron Paul. That he goes to a church like ours and is a "true believer" and a "Christian" is not one of them. Why not reject collectivist thinking whatever form it may take? There are a lot of us supporters of Dr. Paul who happen to go to the same church as Mitt Romney. Is that a good reason to vote for Romney? Heck no! Vote for the liberty candidate. Period.

Voting for someone based on

Voting for someone based on their stated religon is not an idea the Doctor would support. This title and article will not help us gain any new supporters. If anything it will turn off some fence-riders.

It's unfortunate I'm not the only one that sees this...

I was hoping maybe I was being delusional or something, but it really does appear as though the OP has ill intentions with this thread...LegalizeLiberty knows exactly what he's doing, and he's acting like a little kid because apparently not many people here are quite ready to give up on Dr. Paul and jump over to the Johnson camp. Pitiful really. Dr. Paul actually has a decent chance at pulling an upset, and for almost a month now LL has been very hostile and disrespectful. Not just to me, but other members, visitors, delegates, Dr. Paul, his campaign, Rand, and moderators here at the DP. LL can post whatever he wants, but there are plenty of people here that recognize his true intent, and he has on more than one occasion stated pretty clearly that he no longer supports or trusts Dr. Paul. So now not only is LeagalizeLiberty mad because people here aren't willing to jump ship to the Johnson camp, he is actively trying to make Dr. Paul look bad. Shame on him.

De criminalize Liberty!

Agreed, Agreed, Agreed

Put this humble man of God in play and watch the whole world jump for joy!!!

What you stated precisely is the goal of this POS.

LL is Godless and so is its Godless candidate it wanders, wonders and lusts after.

"OH NO! He has a SON?" Neoconservatives and Liberals EVERYWHERE!

I Agree !

America is the greatest nation in human history. Our respect for individual liberty, free markets, and limited constitutional government produced the strongest, most prosperous country in the world. But, we have drifted far from our founding principles, and America is in crisis. Ron Paul’s “Restore America” plan slams on the brakes and puts America on a return to constitutional government. It is bold but achievable. Through the bully pulpit of the presidency, the power of the Veto, and, most importantly, the united voice of freedom-loving Americans, we can implement fundamental reforms.

Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who doesn’t just talk about balancing the budget, but who has a full plan to get it done.
