Meaningless Political Theater By Bums trying to Stay In OFFICE

They KNOW it wont continue in the Senate. they are just being SLIMEY WEASALS saving their own skins...

Don´t forget

that Obamacare is just a part of the problem!

Down with socialized medicine!!!

Now excuse me while I go lynch any politician who speaks out against Medicare...

Tu ne cede malis sed contra audentior ito

State nullification is about

State nullification is about all the hope any of us have right now.

And good luck with that at this point...

Keep burning folks... This is a long term project: http://www.dailypaul.com/233780/ron-paul-merely-lit-the-matc...

What a joke!!

They are voting on this now because they know it will not pass the senate, and do they expect Obama to sign this.

This is the Rep. saying..."Look see we tried to repeal ObamaCare."

If you fall for this, youre stupid.

Although a dead bill it does one thing

It forced congressmen to vote yes or no. People now have this information to make a choice in November. So I don't think it was a waste at all.

It was just a SAFE VOTE....that's all

Don't kid yourself this was a safe vote! I wouldn't use this vote as a means of making a decision about who I vote for in the fall. It's much better to look at their record on voting for sanctions against Iran then anything else.

Then, look at their record on voting for the Banking Bailouts, if the first one doesn't do the trick.

This bill means nothing to me. All it is, is posturing, pure and simple! Every Congressman
knows full well that it will NOT pass the Senate, soooo...

what have you become if

You completely disregard someone voting against this just because their vote won't be enough to get what they wanted.

Obviously Paul will vote against.

What do you expect them to do vote yes? Or not vote at all?

That's exactly what I

That's exactly what I thought...

If you disagree with me on anything you are not a real libertarian...

That's what I was thinking...

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

You want to convince me

You work for the people? start proceedings to impeach Obama!

Wonder what meaningless, insincere, dog and pony show

they'll be doing tomorrow, with the elections coming up, to get re-elected?

What a joke. They already know well it will NEVER pass the Senate.

It's a stunt just like when they read the Constitution aloud in the house.

Have they followed it?

I'll take a guess at tomorrow's vote...

How about a declaration of "National Wool Socks Day'?

We all want progress, but if you're on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive.

-C. S. Lewis

It wont pass the senate and

It wont pass the senate and even if it would then Obama would immediately veto it... This is just a political stunt as many others have already pointed out

A political stunt it is.

Political Stunt

this is not going to pass the senate and its not going to help Romney beat Obama or Republicans take the senate, its just a fat waste of time to attempt to distract voters for getting nothing done in congress. Until competition can drive down prices obamacare is better than what we had with insurance companies abusing people before and if they want to be productive work to get rid of the taxes and extra IRS agents and stuff, but keep the stuff that prevents insurance companies from bullying people.

Election Year Posturing...

A mere handful actually oppose it on principle, outside of the 'it will make the Republicans look staunch' clown-circus. They will 'replace' it if they can, but with a big gov't collectivist version more palatable to the righty-collectivists.

Low hanging fruit designed to feed to and fool the 'party-faithful' and to perpetuate the 'left vs right', 'republican vs democrat' paradigm.

The ignoramusus, the stupid, the willful supporters, the faithful and the disillusioned will all rally around the republican-wing of the party and its collectivist offerings because the faux-paradigm holds that they are standing tall and that we gotta get Obama and those horrid democrats out...don'tcha know.

Big government and collectivism rule.

Well isn't that cute

Token actions meant only to appease the voting population are always fun

Go President Paul! PEACE!

Look forward to your show tonight Matt.

Good news but..

if they are serious about it, why don't they use the "Power of the purse"?

I try to change people every day. Do You?

Nailed it

Undo what Wilson did

fireant's picture

I propose a moratorium on all legislation. Let's face it,

they don't have a clue what's in those bills. They are too damn big and complex. By the time anyone figures out how all these mammoth laws intertwine and what affect they have, we will be in dictatorship.

Undo what Wilson did

What a weak feable move

Seriously? Don't you think its a little late? Perhaps you shouldn't have said yes the first time and we wouldn't be in this mess.

This is nothing more than an election year statement saying "see...I voted for repeal!.....oh but it didn't pass :( "

Thanks for the video, though I disagree

that this is a Huge step in the right direction to getting this repealed completely!

Political posturing. That's all it is. Those who voted to repeal it can go home and say, 'look! I voted against it" and use that to raise money. That's all any of this is about for all of them: raising money.

He's the man.

Yup, you said it Michael

We have a certain senator who is in for another 4 years, and is then retiring. Sigh. And I watch with horror what he has done and will continue to do, because he isn't running again.

Yep, the GOP loves to do this

Yep, the GOP loves to do this stuff when it has no chance of becoming law, especially during election cycles.

Watch what happens in the unlikely even that the GOP takes both houses of congress and the presidency. There won't be an outright repeal of Obamacare, there'll be legislation to "fix" Obamacare, and it'll probably make Obamacare even worse.

I must be willing to give up what I am in order to become what I will be. Albert Einstein

you beat me to it Michael

The Senate will not vote to

The Senate will not vote to repeal Obamacare. And if it did, Obama would veto the legislation.

What if it did pass the

What if it did pass the Senate, and Obama signed it into law abolishing Obamacare? What would Romney run on that conservatives and libertarians agree with?
