Listen starting at 7:00

Despite what you've heard, Ron Paul is still in the GOP running. The Republican presidential candidate and his supporters are not giving up thefight and although Paul has conceited that he likely won't win the nomination, the Texas congressman still can have the floor at the Republican National Committee. The Republican National Committee rules state securing five states guarantees an individual time to speak at the RNC. Austin Petersen, director of Freedom Works, says Paul already has the numbers to be nominated at the RNC.

I started out to become a delegate

to the National Convention and I become one. I am going to the National Convention and I will do everything within my power to throw a Monkey Wrench into Romney's Cogs. RP will nominated as VP even though he will not take it. But it will surly screw up Romney and the Republican Party. If anyone deserves it they do. And by the way Romney did not work for Bane in 2001. Then can some tell me how his signature got on all of the SEC documents in 2000 and 2001? Did Romney lie? Did Romney open his mouth. If he did then he lied.

How does stuff like this get Front Paged?

Is it possible to have some accountability system so we know who Front Pages what?

"You are a den of vipers and thieves."

I mean to rout you out!

-Just because you are among us, does not make you with us

-The door is wide open, anything can slither in

Look, the goal is not to discourage anyone, however, I have been constantly overrun in various mediums when I have been trying to explain for months that I was concerned he would not even be on the ballot. Everyone wants to run off a large list of states they "know" we won. Everyone still keeps asking the question about this and I do realize how confusing it all is, but when searching for answers you have to be willing to accept an unfavorable answer to really get to the truth.

It is as simple as this.

-A plurality of delegates means the most amount of delegates without having to be over 50%

-In most states the winner in the "beauty contest" receives the plurality of delegates by rule. It doesn't matter who the actual delegates are. Nevada convention , in actuality, really hurt us because we had majority of delegates poised to pass a rule to unbind these delegates, however, the campaign at the convention, overruled this and said something like "Just because you have the sword doesn't mean you have to wield it."

-In unbinding states where the primary doesn't matter or doesn't fully designate a plurality of delegates based on proportion it is up for grabs so the plurality is only decided at the time of the state convention. THESE ARE THE ONLY STATES THAT WE COULD POSSIBLY WIN.

But what about rule 38, what about the supreme court case.....It doesn't matter. It just doesn't matter. The way to look at it is- each state "turns in" their results to the RNC. So at that point the state party leaders are always going to follow the rules they have in place, which is the binding. So in a state like Nevada they all could be RP supporters but are turned in as Mitt Romney supporters. Maybe that's not a great analogy but the truth is that we do not have Ron Paul on the ballot and this is his last state opportunity (barring court decisions- not holding my breath).

When so many are so quick to go on about this rule or that rule, we need to remember that if elections were run fairly and if governments and private groups were not corrupt- we would not be here. So we can't just pin our hopes and dreams that "Now they are going to follow the rules to the letter." Look I will do everything I can to think positively and send great energy to Nebraska this weekend- from this point forward- but let me just say I wouldn't bet even $10 that they let it happen. In my honest opinion the only reason this nebraska stuff is getting some play is to draw a clear line in the sand with Ron Paul supporters. What they are trying to do through this media stuff is say "This is your last chance, if you lose Nebraska it's all over." Well, they plan on making sure we lose Nebraska and therefore break this all down- maybe get people not to show up in Tampa. Well let's make sure that win or lose this weekend we let them know its not over. Not over until we win- with or without the GOP.

Austin Peterson rocked that interview!

Wow, well done sir!

Hats off.

Why a speaking spot is VERY IMPORTANT

I know there are a lot of varied opinions about Paul "settling" for a speaking spot. There are many valid points in each view of this, and we all have our stance, but there is something we should all agree on.

Ron Paul tends to instantly change someone's view if they simply hear him speak freely and uninterrupted. That is how a lot of us came to where we now hear Ron Paul and say to ourselves, "This is my leader!" If the Doctor can speak to the whole RNC, and more than half of them are on the fence about Romney, they could instantly be converted. 15 minutes is enough time to get to just about everyone in the room. Our minority delegation may quickly become the majority in a matter of minutes. At that point we control the convention.

I believe it is vital that Dr. Paul get anything he can - even if it's just a speech. That could change everything. That could change the world.

Nooo it doesn't matter. The neocons won't listen and he will be ignored. No one cares, by no one I mean the neocons and GOP establishment. I have never seen a group of so called people race so quickly to destruction as the GOP has.

On Pauls speech being important? He might as well just go and use the worlds longest bullhorn that reaches all the way out into space and blast his message out into the cold deep black emptiness that is space, because it will do just as much good out in space as it would being heard by the neocons and zionists in Tampa. Thats what it will be like talking to those neocon knuckle draggers and adults with child brains.

But maybe some intelligent life in space will hear it.

I don't trust freedomworks.

Too much get rid of Obama at any cost rhetoric. As if Romney was an option.

FAKE-TEA GOP Freedomworks...

and ANYONE ATTACHED TO THIS PURE ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICAN group is EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY suspect in my book. Every time I hear this CHUCKLEHEAD talk, it's ALWAYS, ALWAYS a conversation about CONCESSIONS! "Influence the platform?" HOW?!?!?!?! Speeches? WHAT WILL THAT DO!?!?!?!?! Speech - applause - then RIGHT BACK TO ESTABLISHMENT GOP POLITICS!

If not President Paul, I'm heading straight to the shower, scrub the gop FILTH off my body and RETURNING to my Constitution Party, where I belong!!!!

Brother Winston Smith

The r3VOLution is NOT republiCAN.

Party platform

Speeches and so on are all pointless and useless. The only thing that matter is the presidentia nomination. If Paul does not get that, this was all pointless. The party platform is ignored. Get this fact through your head.

My message to Americans is this. You have protested, chanted in the streets, you have voted for this man above and the neocons and zionist jews have stolen your election out from under you AGAIN. Wake UP! Stop being cowards! Fight and take your country back now! The founding fathers fought for themselves, the country and all its citizens. You can obviously see voting will get you no where. The establishment elites will have who they choose, who they apppoint.

If you cowards do not do something now, you do not grow a spine, all of the Americans blood will be on your hands! Your hands will be stained with the blood of your loved ones, friends and family and children. Do you really want!?!? Do you really want Greece. Police beating and killing us in streets? We all won't put up with it. We can have an organized forceful stance now or a disorganized bloody one later.

at about 7:15, he mention 6 states without mentioning

Iowa. Just my 2 cents. In Colorado they are RP, but binding issues. Now we do have Nevada too, but again binding issues. I know RP got Iowa, so again does 2+2=4?

I think we all need to go to Tampa as planned. Why are they fighting so hard if Ron Paul has no chance?

This Piece "Helps" the LIBERTY Movement-HOW?

This Dude is a LIBERTY Movement "Leader"? Says Who?

What is with the constant stream of posts foisting "Leaders" on us?

I say again,

Did anyone pay attention to what this foppish fop is saying here?

Did you notice that he is just parroting the same establishment line.

"Not going to win the nomination"

"Speaking slot" = "Victory"??

Also, who is this P.Au.L. Dude?

Just the other day he posted a VERY OLD Fox clip of Carl Cameron saying RP has 5 states and will be nominated? Huh? Not true and WHY post such things NOW??

Top Down World stole our LIBERTY-TOP DOWN WORLD has "Leaders".

We do not get our LIBERTY back w/ "Leaders" or TDW. No one is more "special" than any other when LIBERTY exists.

Check out foppish fop boy-He reeks of establishment-check out his website. Posing/smiling w/ Sarah Palin??

This dude rolls in here w/ this go back to sleep/establishment line crap and at the same time tries to pimp for a cult of personality around himself/shameless self promotion??

FREEDOMWORKS People-get a grip, keep a clue, quit being sucked back into the establishment "FREEDUM Corral".

Note to Mods: Recently I was scolded for being too harsh in criticizing self-appointed "Leaders" of the "Movement". The movement I am in doesn't have "Leaders"/people w/ special status.

The day anyone is above reproach is the day we may as well bag it.

Even disregarding the "Leader" aspect-These Peeps-by their own choice-have become public figures.

In the USA/Free countries, one of the hallmarks of "FREEDOM/LIBERTY" is that Public Figures are totally fair game for the harshest criticism.

P.S. For those interested check out P.Au.L./this OPs user account-Notice anything Odd about that account?

Austin is the guy that pretends to be Judge Napolitano

on his Facebook page. He used to work for Freedom Watch but still has access to the account. Most of the stuff posted on that page is actually Austin Peterson. It should be obvious when the Judge is quoting Dead Kennedy's lyrics, anarcho-capitalist stuff, etc.

I've known it was him for a long time, but now that he's made himself a public figure, I figure it's OK to reveal it.

Well, I think it's pretty safe to say the Judge is an anarcho-capitalist, since in the acknowledgements of his latest book he calls two prominent AnCaps--Lew Rockwell and Tom Woods--his "ideological soul mates".

But I do agree that the Dead Kennedys' (and Bob Marley) lyrics give it away. haha.

anyone from Missouri here?

I don't think MO is a plurality ... anyone know for sure?
I only remember hearing about Romney slates winning big there.

Who's to say 90% of the

Who's to say 90% of the Romney aren't supporting him just because they think he has the best chance against Obama or simply because they're led to believe he's the only option left according to the MSM?

How many people will wake up when they hear Ron speak?

A chance to speak and spread ideas....

Meaningless. Ron Paul is nominated or the country as we know it, will cease to exist.

Tricks and treachery are the practice of fools, that don't have brains enough to be honest. - Ben Franklin

It already ceases to exist.

Hate to break it to you, but there's already been a coup.

The few families who own The Fed own our gov't, and run our military.

Need I remind you of this quote:

We are no longer a free people, the elections are rigged, and until the people rise up on a local level and institute change locally, and get behind the NULLIFY movement, we will continue to slide down into the hole of tyranny.

Somebody is paying attention out there.

Good to see.

"Truth is an absolute defense to the charge of paranoia."

Actually somebody ISN'T paying attention

And that's the people who claim FreedomWorks are affiliated with the Koch's... because they're not. You guys need to do your homework. How can we take the R3VOLUTION forward if people don't even know basic facts? :)

Kudos to Austin P and RT for this EXCELLENT show!

So, between you, the Good Judge A Nap, anti-war Scott Horton, Tom W & other libertarian luminaries . . . can you launch an ALL STAR libertarian show very very soon. . . please???

The GOP cancelled their special "security", because they can rely on calling the local Sheriff's Dpt.

We SHOULD NOT cancel our own security at this state convention! We need them to protect, and at the very least, to counter the local police by their very presence. I think the Sheriff will be less inclined to "get involved", if we do this.

Btw, we are not just a "small vocal minority". We may be a small activist minority, but the whole entire nation of people are fed up with what is going on in Washington D.C.

Ha ha. She said Tennessee.

Ha ha. She said Tennessee.

Bump bump bump.

So, did he not win a plurality in Nevada?

Thanks guys!

Glad you liked the segment!

is NOT the fifth state. I'm part of the CO delegation, and was (obviously) at the convention. Ron Paul does not have the plurality in CO. Colorado had built a coalition w/Santorum supporters to beat Romney - and it worked. However, there is NO guarantee that these Santorum delegates will vote for Ron Paul, and certainly cannot be "counted" as RP delegates...because they are NOT.

These are the facts. I'm very concerned that there are stories going around saying things like: Don't worry about NEB, we already have 5 states. Hmmm, since we don't (based on what I think) have 5 states, there seems to be some underlying motives being played out here.

Does that matter? I mean of

Does that matter? I mean of course we want them to vote for RP in Tampa, but for purposes of getting on the Tampa ballot, it sounds like you are saying it worked in CO. You combined w/Sanotorum poeple and RP won the plurality. You are just concerned that in Tampa, they may not end up voting for RP. Ok, we worry about that when we get to Tampa. But for now, RP won the plurality in CO...correct?
