they love death
Enter the three words we love death into any search engine. Given that palistinians, through their leaders, and often themselves, tell us how much they love death and martyrdom will someone please explain to me what the problem is with "civilians" getting killed.
As near as I can tell the problem is that not enough of them are getting what they love, and thus must want. If anything, the Isralies should give the palistinians more of what they want.
Is it just me...

It's a Representative Press video!
I'm glad that I'm starting to see videos from Youtube channels I've been subbed to for awhile. It gives me a sense that my core intellectual and philosophical curiosities don't stray too far from where I'm aiming versus the collective interests of this "community" (all of you).
And this Representative Press guy has some great videos archived on his channel and I do recommend them if you have the time.
This video is a great post. Thanks, Miguel.
sound familiar ?

Both sides have some
logic and both sides are wrong.
The question was about validity of UN and non-UN "human rights" groups' reports about violation of "human rights" of Palestinians.
Yes, "human rights" of various individuals, at times, were violated by USA, NATO, Israel, Turkey, all Arabs countries if you apply definition of "human rights" as UN defines. There were DISPOROPRTINATE UN resolutions against Israel, though, compared to number of actual individuals who had been hurt in a military or anti-terror conflict (say in Yemen or Libya or Syria.)
Now, back to sanity. First, I put aside the issue about New World Order entities that are not elected by people and are managed by secret agencies and big governments.
The main point is - there are NO "group rights" or "human rights." There are only individual rights that are enacted via private property (your body and your earnings included.) Thus, Israeli extra-judicial killing may be questionable, but extra-judicial killing of "spies" by Palestinians or using individuals as human shield is not better. The questioner forgot to mention that in mostly ALL human rights reports both sides are blamed. But his hidden intent was to project "human rights" from individual rights into self determination issue at any cost. Clever. Deja vu - group rights again.
Ludicrous double standard
Critics of Human Rights Watch constantly bring up the acts of terror which Israeli citizens suffer from, ignoring the fact that it's not Human Rights Watch's charter to investigate and condemn terrorism.
By definition, terrorism is evil and wrong. There's nothing to investigate, no report to write. Those rocket attacks are criminal.
Criticism of Human Rights Watch makes as much sense as trying to criticize the Electronic Frontier Foundation for "failing" to report on the impact of hacking on victims rather than focusing "only" on the liberties of non-criminal computer and telecommunications customers. It's a ridiculous idea.
Human Rights Watch and EFF and many other human rights and civil liberties groups take the side against actions of the state which are anti-liberty because that is their charter.
I don't expect the EFF or Human Rights Watch to waste their resources writing reports which would condemn criminal activity by non-states.

She doesn't give a f*** about
She doesn't give a f*** about lying, it's one of the easiest way to pay for her Lexus, afford a great home and provide for her family. Giving up her high paying job and all the benefits just because some kooks want justice and fairness is not gonna happen, she will say the sky orange and the sun is black in order to keep her job, she will do as told because for her having a good life is more important then what the “peasants” want. For her is either this job or working for McDonalds.
As you see in the video, she knows exactly what she's doing and she smiles about it.
So Assad is a bad guy for having secret prisons and torturing people, what the f*** about US officially doing the exact same things for the last 10 years?
Tyrannical dictators have copied Abe...
...for 150 years!
Assad: "Tens of thousands of Syrians are in detention by regime security and intelligence agencies..."
Lincoln: Tens of thousands of Americans [in the north!] were in detention by regime security and intelligence agencies...

Just a thought
If you like the way Matt Lee questions the official narrative, why not send the Associated Press a (respectful) email about how you like what Matt Lee is doing? It seems completely possible that higher ups would want to silence him. Obviously keep the comments on topic and not mention things that would make a statist disregard what you're saying. Also if anyone can find a way to contact Matt directly, that might be something to share. I can only find AP's general contact email: info@ap.org
Ditto
And he's smart, too!

Great to see
a real journalist speaking up, just think what a different and much better world we would be living in if there were more true journalists bringing us facts and making people think. Thank you for posing.

Victoria Nuland Obama’s State Dept. spokesperson marrried to
Romney’s neocon foreign policy adviser

Not surprised ..Romney's
foreign policy advisory team reads like a who's who of the worst AIPAC bought and paid for NeoCons, most are same ones that were on the Bush team.
Many thanks and kudos to Matt Lee and thanks for posting the video!
So, what the State Dept is saying is...
"The reasons we are giving you for meddling in Syria are not the real reasons we are meddling. We are lying to you."
Good job Mr. Lee.
Undo what Wilson did
Thanks for the great clip...
I give a lot of credit to that reporter for having the courage to point out their blatant hypocrisy - we need a lot more like him! Our foreign policy is pathetic to say the least...I would even venture to call it a joke; however, there really is not anything funny about it.
