GQ Must Have Felt The Pressure! 2nd Article about Lawyers for Ron Paul! (VIDEO)
Submitted by yrad on Fri, 07/13/2012 - 13:40Now, they say all this RP "hooplaw" is a bit much...
"Presumably in repsonse to yesterday's post on the Ron Paul-aligned delegates who got bounced from the Massachusetts delegation, we got an over-the-transom note just now calling our attention to this lawsuit being filed on behalf of Paul delegates nationwide. I'm no lawyer, but if I'm understanding this video correctly (and no, I don't want to watch it again), the suit claims that the whole concept of "bound delegates" violates the Voting Rights Act, or more generally violates the civil rights of the delegates themselves. Seems to me that the real disenfranchisement would be uniformly allowing every delegate in the country to vote for whomever she or he wanted, with total disregarding the wishes of the primary electorate.
I called the numbers listed on the website and there was no answer at any of them. But if you can make better sense this presentation than we can, let us know."

Nobody Answered...
Because it's a bunk lawsuit! When has there been an update as to the state of the lawsuit? When will it be seen in court?
All of us are left wondering what is going on with this. Is it a distraction from the cause? Why hasn't any further information been released if it is infact a valid suit?
I'm tired of all the charades and misdirection! We need to take matters into our own hands. Win NE and nominate Paul ourselves and pray that with the scandal surrounding Mittney right now, that the delegates will see there is only ONE TRUE OPTION!

Viva la R3VOLution!!!
disenfranchisement
There isn't any if the delegates vote their conscious because the delegates typically make their true stance known before they are selected as delegates. And if the general public wishes to have a say, all they have to do is show up at the meetings! The thing is, they're being fooled into thinking their vote actually matters, when it's really just a survey. What matters is attending the meetings.
Agreed, if these people knew
Agreed, if these people knew their history, they would know that the founders did not want a primary election! They wanted the truly educated, who attended each candidates speech on platform, to cast the deciding votes. This design was no mistake. Foolish Americans.
