BUT MITT ROMNEY IS NOT CONSTITUTIONALLY ELIGIBLE ~ IF HE IS, WHERE HAS HE BEEN VETTED?
Is Mitt Romney a “natural born citizen”?
Mitt Romney’s father George was born in Chihuahua, Mexico in 1907, the son of Gaskell Romney and Anna Amelia Pratt. Three generations of Romneys lived in Mexico because Miles Park Romney, a polygamist, moved the family there in 1884 as it became increasingly clear that the U.S. government would not tolerate polygamy in the Utah Territory.
The 1882 Edmunds Act stripped polygamists of the basic rights of U.S. citizenship, denying them the right to vote, serve on juries or hold office. Not dissimilar to current immigration raids, U.S. federal agents hunted and arrested polygamists. Polygamists were forced to leave the country or risk jail.
Miles Romney chose to leave the country, bringing his multiple wives and children with him across the southern border.

The law books for how natural born was defined at the time the founders wrote the constitution has been posted many times. look it up, as some of us have been re-posting the same information for years.

The 14th didn't change natural born citizenship. In fact, it was a naturalization act specifically passed for recently freed slaves to ensure they had state citizenship that the States couldn't affect, and the idea of anchor babies is completely repugnant to it's actual purpose if you read up on it.
The book Law of Nations,” by Emerich de Vattel, 1758, defines natural born, and a copy of it was in use with the justices of the supreme court from the same time period the Constitution was passed. You can also look up Blackstone's discussion of citizenship, keeping in mind that 'subject' and 'sovereign citizen' are different terms.
Also, "national" citizenship didn't exist before the 14th amendment. We were founded a federation of States, each essentially an independent country and having their own citizenship requirements. Neverless, you weren't find natural born citizenship changed in the 14th amendment. It doesn't mention it, and wasn't it's purpose.

Good information to repeat. What the 14th amendment does is define all who are not natural born citizens, and the different classifications.
It so simple really, and it confuses so many. Only 2 US citizens can create another US citizen at birth.
A foreign national can not create or help create a US citizen because they don't have US citizenship to give.

I'll read up on the information you mention, but everything I've read thus far, including legal precidences, or legal opinions, suggest that all that is required is for the person to be born in the US. That's the 14th amendment.
Even the 14th was never meant to grant anyone citizenship based on where they were born. It didn't apply to indians, which is specifically why it reads "subject to the jurisdiction of" if you read the discussion surrounding the amendment when it was proposed. "Indian" here would apply to Mexican indians or indians in the United States.
It means exactly what it says. Not just born in the United States, but subject to the jurisdiction of. Illegal immigrants aren't subject to the jurisdiction of, neither are the sons of diplomats (also a frequently used example in old law books) etc etc.
Natural born is a different legal term with a higher standard and a precise definition, and it isn't affected by the 14th, which doesn't mention it. Natural born requires parents who are Americans, and is exactly why the office of president requires this stricter qualification than any other office - which just requires normal citizenship.

And Romney's grandparents moved to Mexico and gave up their citizenship to avoid arrest, and Romney's father never naturalized.
So you have Romney's father being born outside the United States, and Romney being born to someone who isn't a US citizen, with grandparents who gave up their citizenship to avoid arrest and start life somewhere else.
Only if Romney's father ever naturalized before Romney was born would Romney be eligible to be president, but he never did - and that came up in 1968 too. 40 years, and no evidence ever shown that he was naturalized. Never happened.

I remember the '68 elections
I remember the '68 elections and conventions. Romney's father was running for president, trying to get nominated, but most thought it a joke. Romney Sr. was a Mexican national at that time, and it is said he was too arrogant to go through the process of becoming a citizen.
His wife was born in Utah, but if she was a polygamist, then she lost American citizenship and was a Mexican citizen.
It takes two American citizen parents to make one natural born citizen, and the baby must be born on US soil or territories except in the case of government service. Mitt's parents do not meet those requirements.
Obama's parents don't meet the requirement either.
There is a reason the Goldman Sachs of the world support both of these people. These two people do not have heart and soul loyalty to the United States. Romney knows nothing about the Constitution, and Obama only uses it for toilet paper. Their lack of natural born citizenship status is quite obvious in their behavior.
