Persistence pays; My democrat congressman co-sponsored H.R. 459 (audit the fed)

I wanted to share some encouraging news from the activist side of our movement.

After many phone calls and emails, after encouraging new delegates in my district to get engaged and to learn about activism, the work bore fruit.

I received a call from the office of my congressman, Hansen Clark, (D)MI-13, that the congressman would sign on as a co-sponsor of Ron Paul's audit the fed bill.

What this proves is that our activity as activists and good legislation written purely and without anterior motives can produce results.

This is the type of work new delegates motivated by Ron Paul should be doing. Elections are short term sprints, but real change is long term marathon.

We are in it for the long term. My thanks to those who are engaged.

Great job!

Now the hard part will be to get your Senators on board with S. 202.

I would encourage you to find out where they will next hold a public event. Attend and get them on video of where they stand on a full audit of the Fed.

Great to know that we can make a difference. . . even when we,

liberty warriors, do not control the overwhelming majority. . . YET . . . (in NE & many other states ;-)

Now comes the follow up...

Most do not hesitate to complain when things are awry. I've been pestering elected officials for years!
However, when they do the right thing I feel obliged to thank them.

Now is the time for all of us to contact Rep. Clark, thanking him for representing the will of the people, his Oath to the Constitution and to encourage him to vigorously persuade his fellows in both parties to sign also.

If we audit the Fed, what is found will surely END THE FED.

In Liberty!

America Rising.
The Constitution Stands.

did that the next day....

and got our folks who made the calls to do the same...and yes you are correct.

I wonder how many CONgress

I wonder how many CONgress people "sponsor" the Audit Bill knowing it won't pass in the senate..

If you disagree with me on anything you are not a real libertarian...

we have them on record

This is the key. For example, his opponent has yet to sponsor and will not from what I understand.
