Greenspan and his loyal pet Bush
Submitted by phatcows on Wed, 09/26/2007 - 13:43"President Bush [Jr.] had the wonderful characteristic of knowing that it was not to his advantage, nor to ours, to interfere with the actions of the Federal Reserve and I must say through all of his years he never once second-guessed what the Fed was doing and that was very important to us and we've been very much appreciative of that." - Alan Greenspan
What he was really saying was...
"Man! I hate it when Presidents ask what were doing or try to keep us accountable to the American people. It was good that Bush had faith in us so we could continue to swindle the American people. We've been very much appreciative of that."
