The Reagan Revolution

Uh Uh Uh Fred said Revolution when he meant to say coalition. I thin that Ron paul is on all of their minds.

Fred Thompson said,

"On the one hand,” he said, “you have the Reagan revolution, uh the Reagan coalition of limited government uh and strong national security uh and the other hand uh you have the direction that Governor Huckabee would take us in. He would be a Christian leader, but he would also bring about liberal economic policies, liberal foreign policies.”

Uh Revolution=Ron Paul

I wish Dr. Paul would have mentioned that he was one of four congressmen to endorse Reagan in 1976. Everyone else on the stage tried to claim kinship with Reagan, but only Dr. Paul is his ideological relation and actually supported him before he won the nomination in 1980.

This is a must watch comparison between the two.

Their ideas are tight and when RP dissed Reagan on Russert, he was basically saying that Reagan had failed in his attempts to carry out all that he believed. Reagan and Paul are very close on foriegn policy beliefs. Ron Paul knows that he has the opportunity to be better and possibly the best ever. This is a must watch comparison between the two.
