Submitted by PollMan on Mon, 07/16/2012 - 12:39I've seen enough of people stating that Ron will endorse Gary. There is the video with the question and the answer. It is not going to happen.

Jesse Benton when asked if there was a chance of Ron Paul helping and endorsing Gary Johnson.

Listen to Benton ... at the 12 min, 12 sec mark:
Jesse Bentons answer:
"Uh No, there's no chance of that."

Sheckle Benton
has no idea who Ron Paul is going to endorse. Commonsense itself points to the fact that Ron Paul will endorse the only other liberty candidate that has a chance to spread the LIBERTY message via the debate process. Sheckle Benton only cares about his future as a GOP hack and wishes that Paul will not endorse Johnson or any other candidate not alligned with the GOP.
i wouldn't endorse him either
not vote for him now
i see how his henchmen act and treat others
deacon
True.
No chance of that.
Probably the Pro-Life issue
My guess is that, first, it's too early for an endorsement and, second, Dr. Paul is pretty heartfelt in his belief that unborn babies have legal status separate from their mother.

Who cares about Benton
Who cares about Benton anyways? The guy has done more harm than good to the campaign. Ron Paul's campaign would have been much better served under the leadership of someone else.

Well then. If RP won't
Well then. If RP won't endorse him, then why should I vote for him? Thanks Pollman. Good to know!

In 2008, Ron Paul didn't endorse him either.
He endorsed Chuck Baldwin.
Question
Was Gary Johnson running for any office in 2008?
It appears not.
I looked it up on Wikipedia, and it appears that he didn't run for president in 2008. Still, I don't think Ron Paul would endorse Gary Johnson, as Johnson isn't pro-life. Being pro-life is one of Ron Paul's top priorities, and he even considers libertarians who aren't pro-life as hypocrites (in his own words: "If you can't protect life, how can you protect liberty?").
Ron Paul considers Murray Rothbard a hypocrite?

So you are saying that Ron Paul considered his great mentor Murray Rothbard to be a hypocrite? Also Walter Block and many other libertarians who do not share his views on abortion?
Well, he does say...
"If you can't protect life, how can you protect liberty". That seems to imply that he believes that attempting to protect liberty is not possible unless you protect life as well.
