Brent Stafford of St Charles MO Needs YOUR Help!Submitted by Lorien on Tue, 07/17/2012 - 20:36
Remember the Missouri St. Charles County Caucus of March 17th? Remember how angry and frustrated you were when you saw the arrest video of Brent Stafford, a law-abiding caucus attendee whose only "offense" was leading the defrauded and abused caucus goers in legal assembly? He needs your help, and you - right now - are failing him. Here's how you can help him while defending your First Amendment rights...
The Freedom Center of Missouri is defending him for *free*. They are not just defending Brent... the Freedom Center is defending the security of the First Amendment. The Freedom Center is defending your rights. As of this moment they have only raised $140 for Brent's defense, and the trial begins a week from today. Donate. It takes five minutes. If you have to eat Ramen for a week, then donate. If you have to work three hours of overtime, donate. I donated earlier today.
Stand up and support Brent, the Freedom Center, and your own liberty.

"I wanted to offer my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed so far to the Freedom Center's defense of Brent Stafford. We were really starting to worry that we might not be able to hire a court reporter, but it looks like tonight's outpouring of generosity will help us meet that expense.
Please know that the $1,400 goal of this fundraiser is only the most immediately pressing expense associated with Brent's defense. Even if we happen to hit that target, the Freedom Center could certainly use any additional help that people are willing to provide. And if you'd like to learn more about the work we are doing to advance property rights, economic liberty, free speech, religious liberty, and limited government, please check out www.mofreedom.org - and tell your friends to take a look as well!
