♠ GEORGIA and TEXAS Has An Election Coming Up On Tuesday July 31 2012

(I hope this will be on the front page on the 31st)

Like so many that I speak to, very few people know that there are a bunch of what's called "run off" primaries taking place before the General Election on November 6th.

That means everyone needs to get off their arse and vote "liberty candidates" into office so we can change the playing field in the country that has bent and broken the rules against us.

On Tuesday 7/31/12 people in GEORGIA and TEXAS have a chance to pull the rug out from under the status quo because the sheeple are only motivated to go vote in the big elections. Below I've collected names of liberty candidates from different sources. I suggest voting for these people, but nothing trumps your own research. I don't know it all and someone's definition of a "liberty candidate" may differ from yours.

Georgia: 7/31/12
polling hours 7:00a EDT (1100 UTC) to 7:00p EDT (2300 UTC)
[] Martin L Hawley State Rep Dist. 46
[] Charles A. Gregory State Rep Dist. 34
[] Carter Kessler State Rep. Dist. 118
[] Nick Johnson House Rep Dist 45
[] Paul C. Broun Rep Dist 10 (93% Constitutional voting record)
[] Greg Pallen House Rep Dist 4
[] Robert J. McClure House Rep Dist 97
[] Kristopher Moutray House Rep Dist 161
[] Jonathan Smith House Rep Dist 154
[] David Hancock House Rep Dist 7

Texas: 7/31/12
polling hours 7:00a CDT (1200 UTC) / 7:00a MDT (1300 UTC) to 7:00p CDT (0000 UTC) / 7:00p MDT (0100 UTC). Only the area around El Paso is in Mountain Time, so the vast majority of polls have closed in Texas by 7 PM Central Time.
[] Dale Brueggemann House Rep Dist 15
[] Jessica Bradshaw House Rep Dist 34
[] Steve Stockman House Rep Dist 36 (Sponsored Federal bill Megan's Law which Texas has tried to nullify (Ron Paul voted against it also) under state's rights because 95% of the funding goes to 5% of the problem, but he's good in most everything else)
[] Wes Riddle House Rep Dist 25
[] Ted Cruz Senate
[] Paul Perry Ellis County Commissioner (Vote “YES” on all Primary Propositions)
[] Christi Craddick Railroad Commission Place 1
[] John Devine Supreme Court Place 4
[] _____ Miller Board of Education Dist 12
[] Jeff Leach House Rep Dist 67
[] Randy Weber House Rep 14 (Ron's old seat, Ron Paul endorsed but may not be as good as Zach Grady on the Nov 6th ballot)

Is there anyone else?
Check out (Georgia) http://www.thegreenpapers.com/G12/GA and (Texas) http://www.thegreenpapers.com/G12/TX see if your district has a run off. It should say something like "Proceeds to Runoff on 31 July 2012" under a candidate's name if they're participating in this election.

I'm not in Georgia or Texas, is there a run off election in my state? There are a bunch and you can find out here: http://www.thegreenpapers.com/G12/events.phtml?format=chrono...

There's no one for me to vote for in the run off, who should I be considering to vote for in addition to Ron Paul in the November 6th general election? I've put together a list of as many liberty candidates as I could find, organized by election date, here: http://www.dailypaul.com/242897/updated-list-of-liberty-cand...

There's a run off or other election, but none of the participants are listed as liberty candidates I'm not omnipotent. Just because I don't have someone on my list doesn't mean they're not a liberty candidate. It's up to you to do the research. Find out when your next election by you is at http://www.thegreenpapers.com/G12/events.phtml?format=chrono... and research the candidates.

There's someone not on your list that should be Please leave that person's name, office running for, election date and any other information in the comment section of http://www.dailypaul.com/242897/updated-list-of-liberty-cand...

There's someone on this list that shouldn't be This list is collected from many different sources and what qualifies someone as a "liberty candidate" may not meet everyone's qualifications. Please feel free to leave a comment stating your opinion and why. I would like all opinions, good and bad, to be put out there so everyone can make a decision based on all information.

What can I do to get more people to the polls for these elections to vote for these liberty candidates? The main problem is that only a very few people even know these elections are taking place. Please share this information in EVERY way you can. Re-tweet, thumbs up, add to every social network, ask the mods to put this on the front page on the 31st, etc. Market this like you would anything else.

Very disappointed in the mods

Very disappointed in the mods again. This is the 2nd election thread that has failed to be put on the front page.

I don't know what's up

I just made a post informing people that the RNC just announced historical changes to their welcoming of delegates, scheduled the same time as Ron Paul's event, which means, Ron Paul and the delegates will be eliminated if the go to Ron Paul's event.

If that is not headlines, I don't know what is? Oh yeah.. something about Rachel Maddow covering Poland....

where's the part of the

where's the part of the delegates or Ron Paul being eliminated if they go to Ron Paul's event? I read your post and the links and didn't find that anywhere

They are not going to spell that out

What they have done is change the Welcome/ registration process, KNOWING Ron Paul had an event the same day.

I don't see the RNC LOVING Ron Paul and his delegates and wanting to give them every opportunity to nominate Ron Paul. From what I've been reading for months, the County and State GOPs have marginalized and eliminated Ron Paul delegates, so it would seem to me, that changing the "Welcome" registration date to the same day as Ron Paul's event, would follow suit, in showing UNITY against Ron Paul and his delegates. But Hey, I'm so willing to be WRONG AS HELL about this. Man, I would be so HAPPY to be WRONG!!!!! God, Please let me be WRONG, Hear my prayer LORD. Make my day, prove me wrong about the GOP and their sudden change of heart, and new vison to welcome Ron Paul and his delegates with open arms and open hearts and give him the nomination with NO arguments, just pure unconditional LOVE.

????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Can someone explain?

My experience at conventions is it's a process

Welcoming committees are the people who "welcome delgates" by registering them in, giving them their badges/ packages, information about the hotels, buses, events, seminars, you would register for those, and local events, coupons. That is what a welcoming committee does.

Welcome = registration

I have attended many conventions and this is the process at all conventions, although the process changes depending on size or business or purpose, some do it alphebetically, some by state, some by category.. in this case it will be by state.

I imagine they expect Ron Paul and his delegates to have made previous arrangements for Ron Paul's event that goes from 11 AM to 6 PM. Most events, have the headline act at the end, "Grand Finally", so they expect Ron Paul and his delegates to be at this event, and probabaly made plans for after parties and dinners. When I was considering going to Tampa, I had checked out places and thought of having a cocktail party after the Ron Paul event at a restaurant Danton had suggested. If I had made the arrangement and was a delegate, I would have to cancel, and I would be concerned about being at the RNC Welcome committee = registration on time.

It's not that they won't have registration the next day (maybe not, as that is their right, and if I was Romney and the RNC, I would do everything I could to eliminate Ron Paul and his delegates), but the next day could have changes to the program that those who got their packages are aware, and those who did not, would not know. There's more than one way to skin a cat, and to me, it appears that this is what the goal is for the RNC concerning Ron Paul, but as I said above, I'd LOVE to be WRONG. More power to me being WRONG.

Bump!

Polls close in less than four hours. Call your cousins and in-laws in Texas and tell them to go vote for Ted Cruz.

I'm still at a loss as to why

I'm still at a loss as to why threads like this aren't on the front page. If there's a reason I'd just like to know.

You are NOT alone!

It's the stuff I see Romney doing... go figure.

I mean, I'm not trying to

I mean, I'm not trying to come off as "oh my threads are so good that they have to be front page material just because I made them." I just can't understand what could be more important than actually getting stuff done. Conversing about issues is great, I'm all for that, but actually taking steps to fix issues would seem to take priority in my opinion.

You don't come off as "oh my threads"

Your threads are facts we should all be supporting whole heartedly. I DO. Your threads are pertnant, important, and front page worthy.

My guess is Nystrom and the Mods don't want to upset the GJ fan club and think by not giving important Ron Paul info threads front page, that will prevent the GJ fan club from their wanting things to "be fair" and giving their "Destroy Ron Paul" threads front page, as they are demanding.

What do I have to do to get

What do I have to do to get this on the front page?

If the mods have a reason for

If the mods have a reason for not putting this on the frontpage, please let me know what it is. I did the same thing for North Carolina's runoff election and it NEVER got to the front page. Why would a thread like this not be front page worthy?

This desperately needs to be put on the front page!

I'm sure there are thousands of Daily Paul frequenters who live in Texas and Georgia that don't know or have forgotten about the run-offs tomorrow. This is how an irate, tireless minority gains control of a country as huge as this one - show up in the primaries while the sheeple are watching Fox pundits ramble on about Romney.

Bump for Front Page
