Yah know whats so great about this is most of these Reps are particularly good @ voting Yes towards bills we Dont Need! For them to show and vote Yes on another bill and vote NO on any amendments that may "Water down" the bill would be just another day on The House Floor. Tehe RP GENIUS!!

Support a Fed audit! The financial service this private entity provides
takes place secretly. The treasury and congress need to know what it does
on their behalf. Congress delegated its constitutional responsibility to it
for steering US finances in 1913. By now a cloud of secrecy exists.
Requiring an audit to see how they executed US finances is overdue. The
entire electorate of the United States needs to know an audit's results.
Such results allow your constituents to judge what this 100 year long
control of its money did. With the dollar now worth 5 cents of a 1912
greenback, it is high time to act. I urge you to act, support this audit.

Thanks

Senator Johnson is the Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee, which is where Rand's bill, S. 202, is stuck.

We're going to need a VERY strong push from the South Dakota grassroots to pressure Senator Johnson to bring up S. 202 in his Senate Banking Committee. He alone has the authority to bring the bill up for discussion or do nothing and let the bill die.

Please get other South Dakota supporters to call and do whatever you can to pressure Senator Johnson to bring up S. 202 in his Senate Banking Committee for a vote.

Just wrote my Rep in RI.

Just wrote my Rep in RI.

WE NEED 2/3 MAJORITY! CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVE!

This bill will not be up for amendments, meaning it can only pass as it currently written. However, that also means we need a two-thirds majority vote for this bill to pass. We DO NOT have that majority yet. We need 19 more House members and 39 more Senators to co-sponsor and approve of this bill if we want to investigate the Federal Reserve.

Contact your Congressmen!

Can the mods please

sticky this as the first post on the first page?

This is Ron Paul's signature piece of legislation and he has repeatedly asked for our help on this issue.

HR 459 will be voted on Tuesday and we need more people to call their Representative. There are still 160 Representatives who have not cosponsored HR 459.

BUMP PLEASE!!

Its on the front page now

Thanks!

Bump to front page.

Pls.

Contact SENATORS starting Tuesday!

If this bill passes the House, then it will move to the Senate! So far, only 21 Senators have co-sponsored S 202, the Senate carbon copy of HR 459. We need 30 more Senators to co-sponsor this bill if we want the Federal Reserve audited. If we do not get a plurality or majority of votes on this bill in the Senate it will die.

When HR 459 passes the House, contact your Senators IMMEDIATELY! Senator Graham from South Carolina has not co-sponsored S 202, so I most certainly will contact him on this bill.

END THE FED!

.

Senator Graham cosponsored S 202 this week.

It will have to pass the Senate Banking Committee first before it heads to the Senate floor so if anyone's Senator is on the committee, you definitely need to pressure your Senator.

Here are the members of the Senate Banking Committee:

Contacted Joe Wilson via email

This is the second straight day I contacted Congressman Wilson on this bill in some way. Yesterday was through Twitter, today was an email. I will contact him each day from now until Tuesday morning.

Can we get this stuck as the first post?

Ron Paul has said this is his most pressing issue right now and he's been working on this for decades.

We have until Tuesday to get as many people to contact their Representative.

The bill has 272 supporters but since it will need 2/3 majority to pass, we may need up to 288 votes. This is far from a done deal.

!

There are

160 Representatives who have yet to cosponsor HR 459. 53 of the 160 cosponsored HR 1207 in the last Congress (the same Audit the Fed bill).

If your Representative is not on the list above, please give them a call or send them an email today and urge them to support HR 459.

It will come to the floor for a vote this Tuesday.

Call your Representative today

It takes less than 2 minutes to urge them to support HR 459.

Find your Representative's contact information here:

The time to act on this is NOW!

We need to do what we can to get this as close to unanimous as possible... it needs to be ultra bi-partisan to put broad pressure on the senate.

We need to be calling, e-mailing, as well as faxing personal signed letters in directly to our local reps... and asap! And we should consider contacting our neighbors and other people we know to urge support of this monumental bill.... the vote is less than 4 business days away!!!

Please post this to the top

Please post this to the top of DP. We only have a week left to get as many Representatives as we can to co-sponsor this bill.

Please, please, please!

Mods thank you.

This is important.

It only takes a few minutes to visit your Rep's website and ask for his vote.

Forget the House... Its all about the Senate

This bill is pretty much a lock in the house. Theres been an enormous amount of support to get this many sponsors. To fail a decent number of CO-SPONSORS would have to votpe no. We ought to start focusing on the senate. The majority is democratp and because there are only 2 senators a state, it takes much more to influence them. We ought to start contacting then now and let them know kts a bipartisan issue and many people are paying attention. This is a BIG DEAL, and the people opposing it are going to be going after the senate. We need to convince them that the support they will gain for supporting this bill, will outweigh the campaign contributions they will lose.

Yes the problem is the Senate BUT

the more support we can gather in this House bill, the easier it will be to convince some Senators.

Also, it is no guarantee that HR 459 will pass the House. It will be considered under suspension of the rules, which means it will need a 2/3 majority to pass.

That means if all 432 Members (3 vacancies) are present at the time of voting, we will need 288 votes. We only have 271 official supporters right now.

Tom Latham thank you for

Tom Latham thank you for cosponsoring!!!
