Following in the recent 'Flash Mob' trend, as many as 400 registered voters descended on a polling place in the Midwest and cast their ballot for Ron Paul, then departed as quickly as they came.
Volunteers and paid poll workers alike were surprised and taken aback by the mobs sudden appearance and equally rapid disappearance.
"It's like, they just swept in here like a swarm of locusts, voted for Ron Paul, then went back to their daily lives." said one eyewitness.
Authorities fear that 'copycat' activity may result in hundreds of thousands if not millions of Americans voting for Ron Paul in the general election.
