Excellent Article in the Charlotte Observer

In this article, writer Tommy Tomlinson, seems to captured the real spirit of the debate last night.

The funny thing is, the most Reagan-like candidate -- at least on paper -- was the least electable of all.

Thursday night Ron Paul talked small government, in the ways Reagan talked about it. Paul talked about getting out of foreign entanglements, just like Reagan talked about. (How those ideas played out is another matter.)

But when Paul talked about walking the walk of that kind of conservatism -- dumping Social Security, say, or getting out of Iraq -- the TV screen helpfully showed the other candidates looking at him as if he had three heads.

Me: Will the real Reagan please stand up?

there is a poll on the website too

about who won the debate. With a 186 votes, Thompson is leading with some 70%. We're tied with Huckabee behind McCain. Let's vote!! It would be nice to be winning that poll after a positive article

Either this guy is a closet Dr. Paul fan, or he is a

new revolutionary. I hope he's new.
