What Happened to 'No One But Ron Paul'?

Remember when everyone was chanting that? We had it as a Moneybomb title, I'm pretty sure. And look at us now. So many people have jumped ship and thrown their support behind Gary Johnson (and posting about their support of Gary Johnson here on The Daily Paul). It's SICKENING. Just because it looks as if Ron Paul does not have the best chances of winning the Republican Nomination does not mean that he's out! He's downplaying his chances for a reason and we need to trust him on that. That doesn't mean to just abandon him and everyone else here and support someone else. I'm pretty sure 'No One But Ron Paul' MEANS 'I'm Supporting Ron Paul through it all.'

I'm just saying..

No I'm not. But I really don't care what your opinion is. That' is proven to be flawed.

Good thing it's not an opinion..

And good thing plenty of people here can see straight through your flawed made up half truths (LIES). So, yes, you are.

As I recall, Ron Paul voted for DADT. He was for it before he was against it. As usual.

You asked about how he wanted

You asked about how he wanted to push his religious views.

But thankfully, he grew out of it. Still, things like that have damaged him over the years, confining his popularity.

From an article I just read -

http://www.policymic.com/articles/11399/down-but-not-out-ron...

"The trouble is, libertarians are not generally known for their pliability. Libertarian idols Ayn Rand and Alan Moore’s Rorschach condemn compromise in the strongest terms, and Paulties are notoriously militant internet commenters. The number of lawyers and security guards at Republican primaries this year shows that translates in real life, too.

This matters because part of the reason independents are fed up with both parties is that they refuse to work together. (Keenan Thompson’s calls to “fix it” come to mind.) An intransigent third party would not only be ineffective, but it would not hold independents for long either. On the other hand, a stronger libertarian third party might also be hurt by working with Republicans, just as the Liberal Democrats have lost support in the UK for working with Conservatives.

Libertarianism has a strong future if its politicians decide to prioritize issues more attractive to Independents and then engage politically to achieve those ends. Repealing the Civil Rights Act, privatizing roads and returning to the gold standard are not politically tenable. But school vouchers, bringing the troops home, auditing the Fed, and drastically cutting spending are. Ron Paul may have earned his nickname of Dr. No in the House, but independents and many other voters prefer prescriptions to reproofs."

The Revolution does not have the fortitude to get rid of Romney

with the single issue that would destroy him before the convention.

Or people here would be all over Romney/Bain/Stericycle 60+ million aborted baby profits. Thanks for helping open up the door wide for Paul to take the nomination with ease.39 days and counting.

Click on my tagline below.

November 6th 2012 I voted for Dr.Ron Paul

6 degrees of separation won't

6 degrees of separation won't work.

Romney ran Bain.

Bain invested in Stericycle.

Hospitals "legally" abort fetuses or have them die on their own.

Stericycle is contracted to take all "medical waste" and dispose of it not to pick and choose

Ergo what? Romney is a baby killer?

C'mon.

So what's wrong with 6 degrees of seperation if

you can suggest that Ron Paul wants to impose his religion on you. Something you repeat over and over and over, but have yet to explain what you mean by this statement. Are you really this slow, or just this hypocritical..It would seem both.

Do you ever post anything of value?
All I have ever seen you post is either attack or name call or both.
Why don't you do something positive for a change?

Formerly rprevolutionist

"revolutionist"

Do you ever post anything of value? Funny, you only see the things you want to see. I didn't really start "attacking" or "name calling" until people started to attack Dr. Paul, and call me names. Sorry, I don't like being called "Romney Troll" or "Lazy scumbag" or "nazi" or many of the other things that have been thrown at me in the last month or more, usually always by one of the Johnson pushers. Back off. At least some of us know how to track peoples threads and comments. Why don't you go do something positive for a change?

Well at least you provided a link for once

unfortunately your still not very convincing. I wish it were the competent Johnson supporters on here posting all the threads and comments. At least then, there might be a productive conversation. You ruin things for a lot of people. You will not gain Johnson support with your approach. You will continue to be looked at like a leech. I liked Johnson a LOT better BEFORE you, Trevordarden, LegalizeLiberty, and a couple other people came here with your approach, and forced me to actually do way more research on the man then I had before. If you would of just left it alone, IF Dr. Paul doesn't get the nomination, then I probably would have been one of the biggest die hard Johnson activists you could find. Not anymore, and it's thanks to you guys.

That makes no sense. You

That makes no sense. You MIGHT have been a huge Johnson supporter but you RESEARCHED him and decided you didn't like him.

Do you know how stupid that sounds?

I don't want you to like Gary Johnson. Seriously, I don't. I want people with reason and logic to like Gary Johnson.

You make no sense..

First of all I said activist, not supporter. Second of all, I said it made me research him MORE. Open your eyes dumb*ss. Do you know how stupid you are? Are you ever once able to comprehend what someone other than yourself is saying? I would appear not. There was a point in time when I saw Gary Johnson in a debate (you know the ONE debate he participated in before he "took his ball and went home") and he sounded kind of interesting. Therefore, I researched him A LITTLE BIT. Not TOO MUCH though because I was too busy supporting a REAL candidate with a REAL chance of winning. Even up until about a month ago, Johnson was always in the back of my head. YOU, and the other handful of Johnson freaks encouraged me to research more. Too bad for you, the more I dig, the less I like. I don't know how that "sounds stupid", but it really shows your capacity for understanding logic. And if you knew how to reason, you would address peoples issues with Gary Johnson, not simply change the subject or attempt to insult someone when they saying something you can't seem to understand. Run along now son, take your ball and go home.

Seriously, you can take your 9/11 theories and go support Obama or Romney for all I care.

Don't taint Gary Johnson with your crazy like you do to Ron Paul.

ignorance and support Obamney for all I care as well. You're not gaining Johnson any support. Don't taint this website with the "theory" verbiage. It's only a theory until there is evidence. Watch the film Mr. Nystrom suggested "In Plane Sight"...You have been conditioned and I feel sorry for you. You're doing a fine job tainting Johnson on a daily basis yourself, you certainly wouldn't need my help.

I'm glad you don't care about

truth. You wouldn't know what to do with it if it smacked ya right in the face anyway. BTW, wouldn't it be safe to assume that if I was a "truther", as you put it, in almost one year of coming to this website, wouldn't I have discussed this at some point between then and now. If you understood the "track" feature of this site, you'd see that I've never mentioned 9/11 in any thread or comment. But again, it is very very sad that you have been conditioned to associate the word TRUTH with a bad thing, and your too blind to even admit that much. The only thing you know how to do is instigate, and you're not even good at that.

Good question

Let's take a look:

Hm... Looks like the campaign has taken that site down.

He's the man.

Althought it's not likely, if

Althought it's not likely, if Ron Paul himself endorsed Gary Johnson (and maybe this is even planned after Tampa, it would change everything. Or he could do the opposite and endorse Romney. His speech the other day sure sounded like massive defeatism, like "I worked for 30 years and made no difference". It was pretty depressing!

I just don't see how a write in for Ron Paul does anything but make oneself feel good for a brief moment.

The Ballots are not printed yet..how could he not be on it?!

LibertyBaby: I think your post is miss-guided. The ballots have not even been printed yet. And the Republican National Convention is not until the end of August. And Dr. Ron Paul is in the race all the way to the convention-as he has stated! So to say he is not on the ballot is a miss-informed statement.

You're confused

1. Ron Paul STOPPED campaigning for President way back in late-April or early-May (depending on which Email you got).

2. Ron Paul never campaigned in a direct way against the frontrunner Mitt Romney at any time right from the outset (even before he quit campaigning). If you are at all objective, this calls into question the sincerity of any desire to be President.

3. Ron Paul does not have the numbers to challenge Romney...not even close.

4. Even if #3 were not true, Ron Paul is making no public challenge to Mitt Romney now, and he does not dispute that Romney has won, and his own son has even endorsed the other guy Mitt Romney.

5. The idea that someone who is not the Nominee will still be on the ballot anyway, is just delusional, unless Ron Paul had declared that he was running as an Independent. But Ron Paul has said many times that he is not going to run as an Independent, and at this late-hour he would also not even have the time to go through the expensive State-by-State procedures, and qualify to get on the ballots in time.

Ron Paul is not on the ballot

The RNC Convention is a scripted event. Ron Paul himself is not even making a challenge, or disputing that Romney won and has enough delegates. People who are still expecting some sort of off-script mutiny occuring at Romney's Cornation Party are going to be very disappointed.

So I'm not sure how you can support someone who is not running for President anymore, and who will not be on the ballot in the fall...........

Do you have a link

to this ballot?

You are confusing 'us'

with the serial trolls posting here.

We've given up nothing.

Nothing happened. There are 38 days to Tampa.

Romney is the one that is running out of gas and staggering toward the finish line of this campaign, not Ron Paul. A lot can happen in that amount of time in the political arena.

'No One But Ron Paul' still works!

"He's downplaying his chances

"He's downplaying his chances for a reason and we need to trust him on that"

I've considered this idea for a while and came to one conclusion. In the past 30 years of public life, when was the last time Ron Paul was not 100% forthright about his intentions? When was the last time he did something sneaky or deceptive?

Those who are jumping ship are

cowardly, like a fair-weather friend. It takes the strength of conviction to ride out the storm. There is often a rainbow at the end. :)

I just wish Ron Paul would step up

and set a direction. He's not saying anything. I don't get it. They're not even commenting on the reports of not getting 5 States. It looks like he's not interested in going any further. There is no fight left in the campaign, not that there ever was much. They may as well take down the official campaign web site, it hasn't changed in days. He's winding down his career. Jesse Benton is going to see to it that they don't spend any more out of the campaign coffers. (We know who gets what is left over.) Maybe the plan is pass the torch to Rand, but even there, he's not saying anything. For the past 2 months, the Ron Paul campaign has been virtually rudderless. What an American travesty. The one guy who could have probably brought this country back to it's senses, but he had a feeble campaign staff led by his Granddaughter's husband??.......geeeeez.
