(NaturalNews) James Holmes, the Aurora, Colorado shooter who reportedly opened fire at a Batman movie premiere, was a medical student at the University of Colorado, pursuing a PhD in neuroscience, reports ABC News. (http://abcnews.go.com/US/mass-shooting-colorado-movie-theate......)

As part of the attack, Holmes painted his hair red and referred to himself as "The Joker," one of the arch enemies in the DC Comics-inspired Batman movie series. (http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2012/07/20/police-14-dead-in-col......)

According to news reports, this sudden violent rampage was completely out of character for James Holmes, who was described as "shy."

The New York Times is now reporting:
Billy Kromka, a pre-med student at the University of Colorado, Boulder, worked with Mr. Holmes for three months last summer as a research assistant in a lab of at the Anschutz Medical Campus. Mr. Kromka said he was surprised to learn Mr. Holmes was the shooting suspect. "It was just shocking, because there was no way I thought he could have the capacity to do commit an atrocity like this," he said. surely it happens

I think it's reasonable to assume that there are rich, powerful people out there who get people to commit newsworthy crimes to further their political agendas. The only question is whether this is one of those instances.

a quote to remember...

“This year will go down in history... For the first time, a civilized nation has full gun registration... Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient, and the world will follow our lead into the future.” ~ Adolph Hitler in 1935

50 points if you can provide

50 points if you can provide an original source citation for that quote.

I posted a taxing question

On Facebook and was immediately labeled crazy for thinking such things. I completely see it as staged to make the man who calls himself Obama a hero for signing the UN treaty.

"Patriotism is more closely linked to dissent than it is to conformity and a blind desire for safety and security." - Dr. Ron Paul

The things that must be answered are as follows:

1. Confirm that there was an individual that got up from the front row and opened the entry door.

2. Where did the shooter get his training? 60 wounded and 12 dead, that is a minimum of 72 accurate shots.

3. where and why did he set off smoke bombs when his intent was to enter and kill, or was this used to conceal the identity of a professional shooter/assassin?

4. Where did this McDonalds employee recently out of medical school get the money to purchase an AR15 (1,000.00) shotgun (300) hand gun (300) gas mask, tactical black suit, bullet proof vest, smoke grenade. Where did he learn to use them and who taught him?

5. Where did he aquire the training to build "booby traps" in his apartment and automobile?

6. If he did not have the means to purchase 5-10K worth of equiptment could another shooter have entered the door with hair pain and a gas mask, shot the place up, and then left while the patsy waited for law enforcement?

We need to know where the cash came from to purchase the items used, Where he was trained, who supplied the training and who funded his arsenal. Once these items are revealed I will make my own judgement from what I have heard online. If this was some sort of false flag I am afraid there were too many witnesses, and when it comes to IDing the man will there be any confirmations since the shooter adorned a gas mask. I didnt see people choking as they ran outside so I assume that the "bomb" was a smoke grenade as opposed to tear gas, but have not learned the facts on this as of yet.

The FEDs provided the essential training, money, etc...

This "STAGED EVENT" must have been planned for quite awhile. You just don't plan this sort of thing overnight...

The only gun problem is that the citizens were not armed.

an armed society is a very polite society.

This would not have happened if the people could shoot back.

the question is why doesn't this event have a whistle blower

every actual staged event by the government almost always does.. the bombing that started vietnam war, the recent gun leak to mexico, just to name two.. it seems as everyone calls every single news maker these days a staged event, they also have to question themselves why. for some reason only domestic events don't have whistle blower? but foreign operations universally do? by all common sense, it should be just the opposite, unless these domestic events weren't staged.

Mass murder and terror are

Mass murder and terror are generally the province of government. That is just one reason I am always suspicious of incidents of this type.

"The United States can pay any debt it has because we can always print money to do that." — Alan Greenspan

The anti-gun people are coming out in droves. Here's some ammo

I googled 'murder rates by state' and found this set of stats:

Then I googled "gun ownership by state", and the best I could find was some decade-old info:

If you compare the two sets of numbers, what you'll find is that there is virtually no correlation between gun ownership and murder. Some high ownership states, such as Wisconsin and Idaho, have very low murder rates, whereas some very low gun ownership states, such as New York and Maryland, have a higher murder rate.

However, before we draw any hard and fast conclusions, it should be noted that there are a number of high gun-ownership states that have very high murder rates, such as Louisiana and Missouri, and number of low ownership states with low murder rates. My personal experience with Missouri, St Louis in particular, is that the murders generally took place in specific communities and not in all areas equally, and since I am not aware of community based stats on gun ownership I have to conclude that the guns/murders numbers basically prove NOTHING.

I would conclude that ownership of guns probably has little or nothing to do with the incidence of violence (too many high-ownership/low murder states, and vice versa, to make those generalizations). I would tend to think gun murders in this country have other cultural or demographic explanations (inter-gang drug wars, inter-gang gambling wars, cultural acceptance of violence, proportion of young men to the population, etc.).

Don't let the anti-gun bigots try to spin this latest murder with simplistic jingoistic solutions. Violence in America cannot be solved, or even positively impacted, by banning guns.

That's not what I say. That's what the stats say.

Good Info..

Thanks Ron..

Don't forget the excuse to

Don't forget the excuse to put TSA and increased security in the malls, theaters, etc.

I noticed lobbyist Michael Chertoff was all over this

He represents RapiScan....this would be a coup $$$ for them (scanner lobby) to get one in every mall entrance in America.

Of course when he was on the news, they brought him on as the former Homeland Sec. guy....not a lobbyist, lol.

RP R3VOLution

What is the agenda?

i would think gun control but anything else and i am not asking for guesses i would like some backing to what it could be.

do some research

and not main stream media....i mean the kind where you actually do some work instead of asking others to do it.

2 witnesses saw a 2nd person. thats enough to begin with.

I usually dont yell "staged" at stuff like this, but

this is an exception. So much is at stake here. Guns have always been the target of bans. With the UN Gun Treaty coming up, this gives the Democrats, Brady Campaigns, Piers Morgans, and MSNBCs of the world red meat to feed the gun control lies and rhetoric. Another thing at stake is violent video games and movies. These have been targeted by both Social Conservatives and Progressives/Democrats. This event again gives those statists red meat.

And dont forget about the media already attacking outdoor stores like Gander Mountain and Bass Pro Shops, along with gun stores. This scenerio is just to perfect for leftists and statists: attack both corporations AND the second amendment.

I am by no means a truther or believe half of Alex Jones' conspiracies, but this is an exception. The fact that this guy sat in his car while all the weapons were lying on the ground makes me reconsider the "official story". It reminds me of that opening scene from the Big Brother thriller Eagle Eye, when the main character opens up his apartment to find bomb making materials placed there by the Feds.

Your Brain on Academics

This is what continual academics does to your brain.

Moderation must exercised.

I think many would tend to agree that PHD's for the most part are not all there.

Think about it...they torture animals all day in a lab or some other similar experiments with private/public funding of course...do you think this might somehow rub off on the way they think of and treat human animals? Ahhhh.....yes...hello?

This is why practical work must be added into the mix. Not just mixing beakers lol

Are you a PhD? I'm guessing

Are you a PhD? I'm guessing not.

No I am not.

Yet I have visited labs where a friend were doing genetics research...you know, di-secting embryos and all that 'cool' stuff in the name of science.

Btw, he got out of the field because of this...but the money was really, really good. Just so you know.

I know quite a lot about

I know quite a lot about doctoral degrees and laboratory research, first hand. Your generalizations are a bit off the mark in my experience.

Your brain, obviously NOT on academics.

Wow, you have no idea what you're talking about.

Having worked as a graduate student alongside neuroscience PhD students, including ones who perform animal research, this is not at all what happens. Many of the students and professors I know who do animal research are animal lovers themselves. They are dog owners, cat owners, and horse owners. Great care is taken to minimize pain/suffering in lab animals, and the findings from these studies have drastically improved our lives, and will continue to do so.

Whether you want to believe it or not, you and your family benefit from animal research, and you will live longer and have a better quality of life for the sacrifice that these animals and researchers have made.

Yes, many research scientists are not the most extroverted or socially adept people, but implying that research would somehow drive someone to commit mass murder is nonsense.

You might have a point in a way

They could not make in the business world that is for sure for the most part.

Nonsense?...perhaps during the Nuremberg trials these so-called PHD's were asked why they did the horrible things they did on prisoners....they replied they practiced on animals so long so there really was not much of a step to humans to paraphrase.

Come to think of it most people that attack weaker people or beings are kinda of screwed up...don't you agree?

"Great care is taken to minimize pain/suffering in lab animals, and the findings from these studies have drastically improved our lives, and will continue to do so."

Thanks for this statement by the way, I shall remember it.

Think about it,thid false flag was perpatrated just days before Obama intends to sign the U.N. small arms treaty which will end the second amendment. The suspect is a Phd at a university working on a government funded project dealing with brain interfaces. Can you say DARPA? Can you Say MK ULTRA? Time to wake up folks, before they take everythin, and leave us with nothing.

Some see things as they are and say why,but i dream things that never were and say why not. Robert F. Kennedy

Sheesh, you people are a

Sheesh, you people are a joke.

Seems like something like 80% of the people on this site

are crazies.

Where are the normal Ron Paul supporters?

Well, it might take a little

Well, it might take a little more time here to really learn who is who...

If my need to be RIGHT is greater than my desire for TRUTH, then I will not recognize it when it arrives ~ Libertybelle

The "80%" you mention:

They used to be people just like you but then they opened their eyes to what was really going on in the world. They summoned up the courage to see just how corrupt and evil those in power really were. They studied history and realized that this is how empires are maintained and the people are enslaved.

I wish it weren't so bat-sh*t crazy in the world, but it is, my friend.
I can supply you with a reading list but if you are having trouble dealing with reality nothing will help you.
