The 3 Things Needed for Ron Paul to Get Nominated

http://freeindependentsun.com/republic/a-vision-of-the-grand...

1. The 6 State delegation must find out exactly what they need to do to put the Doc's name into Nomination.

2. The delegates must empowered to vote their conscience, whether through the lawsuit, or just showing them the case law.

3. The polls with Paul vs. Obama need to be done and printed in comparison to the Romney vs. Obama polls to hand-out to delegates at the convention.

The first 2 steps are great

The first 2 steps are great for dealing with the GOP and the Establishment themselves. But man, the polls idea is awesome. I've been thinking that for a while. If anything will wake up the 'sleepy-heads' shouting "Anyone but Obama", it's evidence Romney will lose.

Signed on, saw a bunch of good news, thought I'd self-bump

Campaign is challenging LA delegates, Fed passed the House (victory!) and a possible Romney withdrawal talked about on MSNBC?

It is now even more important to get the polls funded, get Ron Paul nominated and find out what we are capable of.

What happens to the money if we don't get to $7500?

I'm inclined to donate, just curious, never done a chip in before.

It's only $2500 per poll

Once $2500 is reached then one poll will be paid for and be in the works. From that point we work to the next goal of $5000 in total (or the next $2500).

I'm pretty sure that if we can just get the first $2500 and the results up the other $5000 will flood in.

Also, why isn't this on the front page??? We all know that the results would be have a huge impact! Even if Paul doesn't beat Obama (which I don't think will be the case), he would do better than Romney.

Mods, please put this on the front page!!!!

Cool, that is what I was

Cool, that is what I was hoping, count me in!

Refunds

...will be easy. To date, all the contributions are in a PayPal account with a list of all the contributors with emails. Should we fall short, by 11 August, I'll just have to take a half day and refund from PayPal.

At the rate were getting "ChipIns," I think we'll see this project through and win the day.

Keep my $5, buy yourself a beer or a cafe latte

If you don't make it, or don't at least get one poll done, keep my $5 and buy yourself a drink and figure out your next project.

Agree. These other things would really help, too.

4. More Romney skeletons coming out of the closet; he loses what little is left of his credibility and removes himself from the race.
5. The economy worsens even more and the monetary system collapses; manipulation by The Fed. is found to be the reason.
6. More corruption within the Obama WH with Fast and Furious or the BC issue; Obama is impeached.
There are more.

this should be on the front page

as it is a top priority!

Here are some dated polls -

They show him as close as 3% from Obama. That's better than Mittens generally does.

I think the three polls in August is a good plan

I'm thinking they'll have us better off too, people will be like "wait, Paul is still in it? Yeah! I hate Romney"

I think the polls

I think the polls underestimate his performance with Gary Johnson in the race. He would help dramatically help Ron's vote tally because he brings in people and persuades them that freedom and small government isn't scary. Not that it's just the right thing to do, but there's no reason to fear it and it sure is better than what we got.

Do you mean Romney's performance with Johnson?

I do think those are good numbers as well, to show what a 3-way race with Johnson looks like (Johnson already being at 5.3%).

Most people who would vote for Johnson would probably vote for Paul instead.

Well, if you look at 2008

Well, if you look at 2008 without Johnson and 2012 with Johnson in the race, Ron Paul did 3-4 times as well with Johnson in it. At the very least, it would be hard to claim that Johnson stole votes from him. If anything, the same message attracted people.

If Johnson and Paul teamed up on Obama, I am pretty darned sure people would overwhelmingly vote for Paul and I even thing Johnson would pull out at the last minute or ask his supporters to vote for Ron Paul so that he didn't cause Ron Paul to lose. Unless of course, Johnson were ahead of Paul and Obama in the polls.

Any time you have two people with the same message, the message is reinforced dramatically. And both messengers typically draw from outside, rather than draw from each other.

In order to convert delegates

I think the polls showing Paul doing as well or better are a great idea. Most romney delegates are programmed by their favorite "news" outlets. They likely won't even believe the polls.

How hard would it be to get them to realize that the media is complicit in wrongfully selling the republican party romney as a nominee. That the media went out of their way to push Romney in over Paul...Then show them who owns the media and their involvement with industry, government, banking and wars.

Guess then you'd be a "conspiracy theorist". Kind of a tough nut, althought that is the undeniably long and short of what has occurred, we are being wrongfully sold this Romney guy by those who want control of our banking, state department, etc, etc....But we want our country back!!!! Only the delegates can do that....Wake them up People!!!

"Obviously the Media was biased against a true conservative"

I think you start with the media bias. You can talk about how people WITHIN the party were complicit. Like you said, tough nut. I think you empower people to make a choice and give them the facts; Poll and Position Comparison.

If the delegates have those facts, are empowered to vote their conscience, have a choice on the ballot, and get to hear Ron Paul speak for 15 minutes...

I think that is our best chance of winning and doesn't require any debate or arguing. Just empower, give them the hand-out, and let the Good Doctor do his job.
