U.S. Literally World’s Police: Marines Create “Law Enforcement Battalions”

If critics (which naturally includes your authors) needed any more ammunition in their case that America has officially become the “police force of the world” to the detriment of each and every one of its citizens, the new Marine “Law Enforcement Battalions” have offered that up in spades. The Associated Press has a story up citing a new push by the Marine Corps to beef up its Military Police. Not to secure bases or keep order within our own military, mind you, but instead to literally operate as the police of the entire world.

The Marine Corps has created its first law enforcement battalions – a lean, specialized force of military police officers that it hopes can quickly deploy worldwide to help investigate crimes from terrorism to drug trafficking and train fledgling security forces in allied nations. (AP)

Marines have been increasingly taking on the role of a street cop along with their combat duties over the past decade in Iraq and Afghanistan, where they have been in charge of training both countries’ security forces. Those skills now can be used as a permanent part of the Marine Corps, Durham said.

Your TAX DOLLARS Patrolling the World

Great Job McWilly on posting this. I become extremely frustrated every time I am reminded that our Navy is no longer the U.S. Navy and is now the U.N. Navy... A Global Force For Good. After the Civil War the "War Department" was renamed the "Defense Department"… just more semantics to cover up a higher agenda. The American Taxpayer should be furious that we are being taxed and inflated to death to represent the agenda of a world government.

The Navy's marketing

The Navy's marketing department has been trying to brand the Navy as a world organization as well for a while now with all their " A GLOBAL Force For Good" commercials. Promote themselves long enough this way and people will begin to actually believe it (as opposed to the true purpose of being forces of and for the United States rather than the world).

I suppose at some point in the future the UN will be wanting to take control of our "world" and "global" forces, because the UN is the defacto "global" government.

This sort of promotion, branding the military in this way, is not done willy-nilly. There is serious thought and consideration put into branding the military in this way & there is usually a purpose/agenda for doing so.

Recently, I was on a road trip in PA and passed at least 5 military vehicles throughout central PA. I've never had that occur with such frequency.

America: F%$K YEAH!

How you did this post without including a Team America: World Police clip I have no idea, but good stuff. They are just making official what they've already been doing all along.

I debated it

But decided to use the Navy's own "America: F*&K YEAH!" Commercial instead.
